Terrible. They didn’t have a car on the category I booked, and technically gave me an “upgrade” to a Van which did not meet my needs. So I had to pay another $60 for an actual upgrade so I could get another car, which on the receipt ended up being $120 dollars. I will never use Sixt again and would never recommend them to someone else.

I walked 15 min in soaking rain to get there. I hade pre checked in online using my driver license. Once I arrived, soaking wet they tell me I need my passport and that it was written in the fine print. I had to walk for 30 min while NYC was being flooded to get it. I still can’t find where it sais I need my passport. They emailed me an hour before pickup time saying I could go in online and choose my luxury car. It never worked, got a Cadillac small suv instead of the BMW advertised as luxury. I have had several BMW, the Cadillac didn’t come close.

Great booking, pick-up and drop-off arrangements. Vehicle prep was missing some key components so detracted from an otherwise great ride.
the car was not available, and the person behind the counter left to get chipotle after telling us the car was not available. could not ask any follow up or anything as he just left.

Had a great experience. No wait to pick up or drop off. Employees who helped me were surprisingly nice. Also no one tried to push insurance or upgrades on me. I ended up with a Prius that was very new, very clean.
