Added charges that I did not want or need after telling them I did not want the insurance. My fault for not verifying when signing but was told the $200 charge on my card would be refunded when the vehicle gets returned. The Nissan Rouge had excellent fuel economy and a smooth ride. Would have been perfect if it had a navigation system. It’s 2024, I thought all cars have them now especially a rental car that is used for vacation travel in a new and unfamiliar area.Reviewed 18 Mar 2024

I was extremely disappointed that the clerk at the desk who very insistent that I upgraded the car for ‘safety purposes’ and bought the fuel and additional insurance packages, which was discomforting and intimidating. When I vehemently rejected the offers, they then had the audacity to surreptitiously add the insurance to the ticket anyway, before quickly closing the ticket and telling me where to go to collect the car. It was very deceitful and I was only aware of this upon returning the vehicle. Admittedly my naivety was not double checking that additional items had been added after specifically turning them down - however this was not what I expected. On a positive, the rest of the staff were very polite and helpful, and the hire went smoothly apart from this.Reviewed 8 Nov 2022
