Bright lively spaces both upstairs in the bar/breakfast area and also downstairs where there is a lounge, screening room, meeting rooms to hire and a large co-working spaces. I had not appreciated that the rooms were pod-like, but knowing that (and taking note that there are plenty of spaces to relax and be away from the crowd), I would stay again.

Bar - cafe - canteen was modern and exciting, with a well curated bar selection and good food. Good views from 6th floor and up.
Despite the bar being busy well into the night, we were not disturbed in our room by noise or light pollution.

Pros: The rooms are like something out of The Fifth Element: absolutely teeny with the (large) double bed only accessible from one side (there are walls right up against the other three sides), the sink's outside the shower room too, which was odd. But it was very comfortable and we were pleased to find that a lot of recent movies (only just out on DVD) were available to watch for free on the room's great-big TV set. Perfect for a rainy Glasgow night when you're full of sushi. And the staff couldn't have been more helpful!

Cons: Difficulty in dropping off bags - no apparent place to stop car for that purpose. Parking was a bit far but ok.

Cons: Not enough wardrobe/hanging space in my room - only 3 hangers in a very small space. And a nitpicky thing in the breakfast area.. You get your serial, select a seat, get your paper and eat your serial. You then go for a second course or some coffee and when you come back your place has been tidied and somebody else is sat there. Need a way to rerserve your spot until you've finished.

And apparently we were being loud and disruptive we had been out allnight for my birthday and only just arrived back at hotel we were neither of them ... They did apologise the next morning and gave us complimentary breakfast and vouchers for free drinks but still wasnt good enough my night was ruined

The location wasn’t as central as some I’ve stayed at, but it was near the shopping district, and there were several good restaurants and pubs nearby, and a Tesco within a short walk. All in all, good value, and the staff were very helpful.

Cons: The security of the hotel was very poor. After almost three hours of checking in a man looking very scruffy with cuts on his face entered our hotel room which was room 426 a one bed apartment. I don't know how he gained access to a key to our room. My daughters and myself was very shaken and frightened. We were scared the whole night even after we were advised to lock the door by turning the knob. Our whole stay was ruined. I immediately called reception to report what had happened.

Cons: The cocktail lounge had some issues with the speed of service. They had the same number of staff on the busiest of nights as the slower nights. And one of the three days we stayed at the property, Housecleaning did a poor job taking care of our room. Coffee cups that were used were not taken, the room was not vacuumed, drinking cups were not exchanged but at least the bed was made. The property had three elevators but one was out of service during our entire stay.

Cons: Woefully understaffed in room service. We were at the Glasgow summer sessions concert at bellahouston park I think a lot of other guests were also attending. Traffic jams meant we had to walk back to the hotel getting in after midnight. Bar closed and then room service (only means of getting food and drink) was understaffed. We didn’t get our room service until after 1.30am by which point we were eating our hands! We were told “everyone arrived back from the concert at the same time”. I think that could have been foreseen by the hotel and perhaps the bar could have remained open longer?

The pool was great but it was not reserved to the hotel and there were lessons with babies and children, so not as relaxing as I was expecting, but still it was nice to be able to go for a swim. The location is good but not the best, I arrived on a Sunday and it seemed everything around was closed, it looked like a business neighboorhood, walking to the city center was 20-30 minutes.

Cons: As the booking was a gift for my mum and dad, I obviously was not going to be there. As I had bought the stay with my debit card they insisted that the card that the room was booked with would need to be present for check in. I even emailed the hotel and phoned them yet they still insisted the card that they would need to see the card that made the transaction. They were unable to verify that it was them any other way. This was annoying as it meant I was without my bank card for 2 days. And to top it off when they checked in, no booking confirmation, reference OR MY BANK CARD was required!

Cons: Blood stains on the curtains, stain on the floor, the sinks plug was broken. Overly expensive for what was offered awful setting outside with half broken building. We were able to check out at 2pm as I had a conference and my mother was working in our room and they deactivated our cards and could not fix it for a while. The food was over priced and badly cooked. The steak wrap was like eating a rubber boot with onion soaked all over it and my mothers chicken club was dry and flavourless. Miserable staff who obviously did not enjoy working there.

Cons: We were put on very top floor. There are a lot of winding, narrow stairs and no lift. Getting to the room after a long day of walking really took it out of us. Room was "deluxe queen size" but was really rather small. Can't imagine how small the non-deluxe must be. Parking is not on site but is actually a public multistorey.

Cons: The dorm I booked was supposed to be a female only dorm but a man was there when I woke up. Someone had taken my bed and the mattress of the bed I slept on was very poor quality and must have been very old as I could feel all the springs through whatever position I took. The worst night. The lockers under the beds are not convenient as people put their bags in front of them and you cannot access the lockers without moving people’s bags.

Pros: The staff from the moment I arrived until I left were all very friendly and nothing was any trouble. When I arrived at 20:30 on Sunday evening the gentleman on reception upgraded me to one of your lovely apartments so thank you, your bar staff very friendly and the meal I had was delicious

Pros: The staff and food were really good. The closeness to a amenities was also good. Buses and subway easy to use good to see how Glasgow has been regenerated. Still needs work but all takes time & money
Cons: The room although spacious had not been cleaned properly. The kitchenette worktop did not fit well so hard to open fridge and practically impossible to get to the bin without lifting the stainless top and pulling the cupboard door open. The aircon could not be shutoff as well as the bathroom fan hence could not sleep first or second night. Wooden floors not properly insulated could hear every footstep and creak. Smell of damp in the bathroom, food expensive but it was good so there's the compromise!

Pros: First morning breakfast was really busy, there was only one person dealing with everything.( what I would call the supervisor would flit in and out) The young lad who was basically working on his own was excellent in trying to cope, marking people in serving tea and coffee,taking orders and cleaning up tables.If it wasn’t for him the breakfast would have been a disaster. Poor management and exploitation of a conscience worker.

Cons: Not a 4 star hotel by most people's standards as the place could do with updating in places, such as the bathrooms, but a good three star. If you can get a good price of no more than 80 a night then it's decent value.

Cons: The room had a horrible damp smell and there was a dehumidifier to try and rectify this that I had to empty several times in just 3 nights stay. The furniture was very dated and we had an alleged executive room but it seemed more that a regular double room so not sure what the extra cost was for

Cons: I'v got charged twice for the early check in. First before my arrive to the hotel (email from the hotel where you can choose upgrades) secondly directly at the check in - but I was not aware about first payment and staff did not tell anything about it. After, they did not want to refund. Rooms are very small. Towels were dirty! Area around property was not safe - I saw a drunk old lady, guy pissed nearl the door, grose!

Pros: The price was what we were looking for.
Cons: The rooms were extremely small, almost claustrophobic. You needed to pay for every single additional item that you wanted. Pay extra for the remote, WIFI, towels, and even for your room to be cleaned. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and I was afraid to even sleep in it because of the just general uncleanliness I felt in the room. This room is only suitable for younger couples or singletons with minimal luggage/baggage.

Cons: The buzzer was not working and on return from a night out with my local friends I was left stood outside for 10 minutes buzzing and buzzing and being ignored. The window would not open so no air at all in room. You had to stand in shower to use toilet or sink. Not a chair or shelf in sight and there was room for them. And only one built in hanger for 2 peoples clothes. Plus they charge you extra for everything. Early check in £10. Late check out £10. Remote control £5. Wifi £5. Cleaner for room too!!!
