Motel One Glasgow

Despite being a casual city hotel in its essence, Motel One Glasgow incorporates art in their basic design for a unique stay. Local Scottish artists exhibit their work throughout the hotel premises, giving guests the opportunity to explore and learn more about the Scottish art scene without leaving the premises.

Upon returning from Glasgow to the hotel, sit in the stylishly furnished Motel One lounge, which is quite opulent for such a budget choice hotel and invites with a tad of luxury after a long day. A wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is served here with soft background music setting the mood.

Though this accommodation does not offer underground nor overground parking on the hotel premises, there are various nearby partnered options. As a hotel guest, you can request a parking voucher at the reception desk to receive discounts. Inquire about the best parking solution for you before or upon arrival for up-to-date information.

Families can save a little with the hotel’s policy of letting one child under 6 sleep free of charge, which also includes breakfast for the child in question. Children between the ages of 7 and 12 sleep for free, too, but breakfast is charged separately. Extra beds can be accommodated in some rooms at an additional charge, so if you are in need of one, contact the hotel to see whether your room of choice qualifies.

Part of the Motel One Glasgow experience is their scrumptious and extensive breakfast buffet, featuring organic produce and a wide range of choices. Fairtrade tea and coffee are also available for you to enjoy in the mornings. In order to benefit from a proper start into the day, purchase breakfast for about £10 (approximately $13) per person and day, which is served in the hotel’s lounge.

The 500 Airport Express is your direct connection to the city and the hotel. Exit at Waterloo Lane and walk the remaining 3min on foot to reach your destination.
