Pros: We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very innovative with electronic check-in and room controls. We loved the shower! The food was delicious and staff were friendly and courteous. We like how the various spaces for relaxing, reading, meeting, and computer use sort of `unfolded' as we explored the first two floors of the hotel.
Cons: Difficulty in dropping off bags - no apparent place to stop car for that purpose. Parking was a bit far but ok.

Cons: Wakened at 4am by other guests on the 6th floor and had to call in a complaint. Didn't sleep again which wasn't ideal as I was down in Glasgow for a business meeting the whole of Monday and felt really tierd. Not impressed!

Cons: The booking process lead me to end up booking the wrong dates on a non-refundable deal - I contacted them immediately and we were able to sort it out, but do be careful when booking.

Decor was tired, the carpets were grubby, the furniture was scratched and looked tatty. The bathroom was very tired (mouldy grouting in places). Didnt live up to my expectations and probably wouldnt book to go there again. First impressions were good, on further inspection you noticed the above. Not really a 4*, maybe at one time it was?

Cons: The leisure facilities could definitely use some renovations. The changing rooms, steam room, and general pool/leisure area were not very clean. The Jacuzzi was not working when we first arrived, though it was available for our last day. I would definitely consider staying here again if these facilities are improved.

Cons: The room decor was dark and very dated and the shower control was loose on the wall. The whole bathroom made me feel terrible and I didn't touch the bath and the shower during my stay. (Instead, I used the swimming pool shower) The sofa chair in my room was dirty and I even didn't put my clothes on it. My bedsheet was not clean with two small stains, so I had to call them to change it. I was not happy about the room overall and didn't think it's worth the money I paid. I am not going to stay there again.

The hotel has a very rigid no refund policy so be very careful when paying up front.
We would not stay at the Grand Central again nor would we recommend it to our friends.

Cons: The room felt like a nice hostel, not a 4 star hotel. This location is 2 blocks from the nightclub scene so it was very loud with people shouting on the streets and cars revving their engines. The water closet was very plain and the toilet paper quality poor. There is no pool/whirlpool/jacuzzi. We booked this room at a discount rate, thankfully. Had I paid full price, I would not have been happy with the full-rate and the quality of hotel. This is more like a 2 star hotel.

Cons: Black water every time you turn the hot water on in the sink or tub. Had to let it run clear, but is was a shocker when you saw it. No refrigerator in the room, so we had to throw out $30 worth of cheese and cold cuts. No coffee make in the room, only a hot water kettle and instant coffee.

Cons: Small room, no refrigerator in room, not much storage place for your clothes. According to hotel policy at booking.com extra beds where available for children or adults, but that showed to be wrong. Maximum two adults per room was the answer I got when I contacted the hotel to get a confirmation of my booking (but they fixed it for us anyway). We also got a hotel restaurant bill on our room even though we didn't eat there. Despite the fact that we reported it to the reception right away and they promised to fix it they didn't do it. They also messed up the tray fee for breakfast on the room, but we managed to sort everything out at checkout.

Cons: the room could have been doing with a fresh lick of paint and a little updating but all in all for the price and the location we had very little to complain about . It had everythin that anyone on an over night or short stay requires and we would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting glasgow its location in the heart of the city centre is fabulous and noise level was not an issue .

Cons: The room was not very clean; and most unfortunately it was mainly in the bathroom. The toilet had not been properly cleaned. Also the shower head needed tightening; when turned on - water spouted in nearly every direction making it impossible to not make a giant mess.
The pillows were flat and the mattress was stiff. I'm not picky about these things as long as they are clean - which they appeared to be.

Shower head could not be lifted high enough to be over my head due to a short hose and the pressure was highly variable. Bathroom mirror is placed such that I had a nice view of my bellybutton but could not see my face to shave. Room was far too warm on arriving and turning the radiator "off" still left it heating.

Cons: The room in the hotel while having a tv - only had one 'watchable' channel. The rest of the channels were full of static (not that we might have watched it much - but nice to have the option). Bulbs were missing from light fittings. Attention to detail just wasn't great in the room ... but I would still stay there again if heading to Glasgow.

Pros: The location couldnt be more central, the staff are very nice and rooms are as good as you can expect. There’s a bar downstairs which serves breakfast too. I stayed at a private room which was amazing for the money I paid. Everything you’d expect in a Hotel room at third of the price.

Cons: The tv is on the wrong wall on room 718, neither bunk bed has a clear view. The shower was a bit hard to work out and the pressure is not great. The soap in the shower should be actual bath gel or body shampoo not hand hashing foam.

Cons: It’s very noisy with the traffic and trains as well as loud guests in the corridors. I didn’t mind but don’t go if you’re a light sleeper.

Pros: The rooms are clean and tidy, I can't complain about that.
Cons: The bathroom light in the shower is motion sensing, but it doesn't sense your motion in the shower. So the lights turn off on you about every 2 minutes and you have to get out in the dark and make motion. Not the safest. Also the shower drained poorly so it would overflow if I didn't shut off the water. I actually had to switch rooms when I first got there. The first room had mosquitoes, and smelled musty. The place was cheap, but maybe too cheap.

Cons: The rooms were extremely small, almost claustrophobic. You needed to pay for every single additional item that you wanted. Pay extra for the remote, WIFI, towels, and even for your room to be cleaned. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and I was afraid to even sleep in it because of the just general uncleanliness I felt in the room. This room is only suitable for younger couples or singletons with minimal luggage/baggage.
