The Woodkand, CA Enterprise staff went out of their way to accommodate us after a glitch occurred in the location of the rental versus the airport where we landed. They weee most cordial and scrambled to get a car ready in spite of not having our reservation. They treated us like family—we loved that! Nothing could have been better! The car we eventually got was clean, and in excellent condition. But pick up took way too long. They didn't have the car ready for us. When they finally went to get it, they found it had a dead battery. The repairman arrived about 20 minutes later to replace the battery. A while later, they gave us a different car. I have no idea why they couldn't have given us the different car as soon as they discovered the dead battery. Then we still had to do the paperwork. I don't know why at least most of the paperwork couldn't have been completed before they had a car ready. We arrived a few minutes before the appointed 9:00 am time. It was 9:50 when were able to drive away. Returning the car. on the other hand, was very quick and easy.Reviewed 14 Oct 2022

I couldn’t pick up my car because the location closed at noon and our flight arrived at 5pm. This was Saturday and the location didn’t reopen until Monday. Non-refundable and non-changeable. I will only book directly with the rental company. I will not use kayak. Cost me $1400 for a car I didn’t get to use!Reviewed 4 Jul 2022

Be prepared - know what your options are (add-on insurance, what car you're ok with, etc.) because things move pretty quickly once you arrive. I did notice a lack of gender diversity - staff was all male.Reviewed 24 May 2022

They didn’t have the car that I reserved. I tried to contact Kayak to let you know that they didn’t, so that I wouldn’t be penalized, and I never heard back. The fact that they didn’t have a van put me in a very tough position, as I desperately needed a van to transport items for a tradeshow, and had no choice but to pay double what I was going to pay with Enterprise to rent a van through Avis. And I was lucky to even get the van through Avis, as I spent hours trying to find a van. Very disappointing experience.Reviewed 26 Feb 2022

Cons:Booked for SMF airport and your system relocated my pick up elsewhere in Sacramento and had the return back to Sac rather than Oakland. Disaster won’t be using your service again. Took me 3 hrs to get another car and on the road AND paid $122 per day instead of 70. 💩 phewReviewed 14 Jun 2021

Cons:Kayak quoted me around $400 to rent a car for the specified period of time. When I arrived at the Enterprise location, they told me that the cheapest option they had available was going to cost around $900 (including insurance). I had no choice because of the situation I was in, but I was incredibly disappointed that Kayak's quote was so far off. If I had known it would have cost that much, I absolutely would not have rented from this location. I will probably not be using Kayak anymore.Reviewed 6 Dec 2020
