On one of the busiest holiday weekends (12/27), at one of the busiest airports in the nation (Newarl) there were 12 desks available to help Budget customers, and only one of them was staffed with a human being. The wait to pick up the rental car was 2 hours. Never again, Budget.Reviewed 2 Jan 2026

I waited in line at the budget counter for 2 hours and 5 minutes just to get my car. There was only one agent at the counter for most of the time, a second agent helped out for a few minutes I missed my appointment due to the unorganized nature of the budget counter and will NEVER RENT FROM BUDGET AGAIN.
