Pros: We enjoyed the staff. They were kind, respectful, cheerful and courteous. The young men who assisted with the luggage and parking were great. The counter personnel, was very pleasant.

10.0
Pros: You don't even get the second foot in the door before you're greeted by friendly and welcoming staff waiting to attend to your every need.
The breakfast (if you choose to have it included) is a fresh, healthy and great quality variety also with impeccable service and choices.
The rooms are adequately sized and the beds and pillows are quite plush. There are slippers and robes for your added comfort and the tea selection in the room is great.
The bathrooms are fully equipped and have a very modern and Chiq decor.
Room service was a bit costly (as it is with most hotels) but this was because while the quality of the food was great and fresh, I really didn't enjoy the flavor.
It is conveniently located between the trams and close to the Brussels midi station. Also, on Rue Louise there are all the major high end brands for clothing, jewelry, shoes and perfume, there are chocolatiers and other typically European magazines.
Once you head out the revolving doors of Rue du Châtelain, and turn right, you will see that there are many cafés, bars, bistros, and magazines (shops) along the way. The cuisine is mainly, Italian, French and English, and there are Asian restaurants and a conveniently located liquor store to get your Belgian beer.
There's also a food store further down.
In the opposite direction, about a 30 min stroll away, there is the European Parliament, and the Grande Place that hosts many of the museums, a must see is the Music Museum, and a must have is the Belgian chips/fries and waffles.
Hopefully this helps!

Pros:
Cons: Upon check-in, they took a deposit in the amount of the cost of living. The carpeting in the corridors is stained. The view from the window on the wall of the neighboring building. The bathroom is very small. Draining in the bath does not work. To drain the water, the cork had to be picked out with a knife. Far to the center. We went by tram or taxi. It is unlikely to be back in this hotel.

Pros: Overall the stay and the experience was pleasant. Didn’t have breakfast as it was expensive for what was on offer. But the hotel is close to a lot of restaurants so we had our pick. Also expensive but not as much as the hotel. The room was good and make sure you ask for a “closed” bathroom upon check in. The free mini bar and coffee maker was also very nice

Pros: The bed was comfortable, the temperature in the room is easily regulated, the room is well sound-proofed, so it is quiet at night. We had a corner room and the view is really nice. The light controls and the curtain controls are automated and can be manipulated with a push of a button.
The location is great for shopping, walking to local attractions, and as a starting point to almost anywhere.
I might or might not stay again - the negatives are not terrible, in the grand scheme of things.

Cons: the restaurant was closed for the summer and we were not informed of this beforehand so had to go out for dinner. The bathrobes provided were not of great quality and possibly would not fit certain shapes and sizes. However it was free so should not complain too much. The staff at the reception were not as friendly as they could have been and also could have been more helpful in terms of giving us tips on places to go/ see

Cons: The employee who took care of us at check-in was a bit expeditious, she for example didn't even mention the number of our room when she gave us the keys, we had to look it up on the key cards pocket folder.

The location is great for shopping, walking to local attractions, and as a starting point to almost anywhere.
I might or might not stay again - the negatives are not terrible, in the grand scheme of things.
Cons: The shower enclosure is not well designed and the water constantly goes over the lip of a very shallow shower pan - even if you try to stand up against the wall, only shower with the handheld shower, etc. So we couldn't enjoy the rainfall shower head which was huge and lovely because then you essentially have a lake in your bathroom. For the most part we had a soggy towel on the floor near the shower at all hours.
Also the toilet is separated from the rest of the room with just glass so privacy or soundproofing there does not exist, and given that it is a European -sized room, if one of you is up to use the bathroom at night, it is impossible for the other to stay asleep as it is an echo chamber.
The breakfast is severely overpriced for the options available and/or service provided - at least one of them needs to improve. Even though we travel a lot, still for a tourist from the US it is quite surprising - for 28 Euro per person I would want something more lavish in terms of food variety or much better service - waiters pouring your coffee or tea instead of you wresting with the automatic machines - something.

Cons: The strong smell of smoke in our non-smoking room, especially in the bathroom. The staff couldn't fix this or move us to another room. The only window is broken and can't be open. You can't ventilate the room. Really low light in the room Airconditioning is unstable - it can't keep the selected temperature Water taps are in awful condition They provide a baby cot, but without blanket and pillow. I was proposed to use ones from the double bed or bring my own :)

Pros:
Cons: Everything in this hotel very good, the room is spacious, the shower room is big enough for two people and it has a tub and separate from shower room according to my humble opinion they did great design for this point.
The rest room is separate from shower, tub, and sink section so good privacy, so if there are 2 people one of them want to use the toilet and the 2nd want to take a shower the both can do it in the same time.
The bed is very comfortable except I prefer if they put two kinds of pillows one hard and one soft.
The down side of this hotel and hope they will correct it is the complementary like tea or coffee is free cause they gave us one bag of black tea and one bag of green tea and if you need more you should pay and I don't think the tea expensive especially I use to go to different hotels in USA this stuff is free.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good restaurant. Modern and cosy rooms. The breakfast quite good.
Cons: The shower had problems: they should pay more attention to the maintenance, considering the fare...

Cons: few things, Afer arrival, staff allocated room on 4th floor but did not realize that elevator was out of order and there was no other way to approach to the room. There was no water supply for shower and could not call for help as in-room phone line was dead. When told the staff about it, they had no response, not even a sorry for this inconvenience. Wonder how come they did not check that the in-room phone line was dead.

Pros: Location and staff weRe great.

7.0 Good
Pros: food and breakfast, location
Cons: wifi was horrible. i was given the Radisson guest user access which was common for all and the speed/bandwidth was the worst. however, i noticed there was a wifi allocated per room (mine 410) which access was not given to me by the reception saying it would only be the 'Radisson guest'.

I like the state of the art security system and privacy with the room keys and not being able to access another floor w/your room key. Cons: I think on the daily basis they should make a slight change in their menu for the buffet breakfast. Everyday it was exactly the same. Breakfast is open 6:15 and they should be ready at 6:15, the hot food was not ready till 6:40, chef was still preparing.
I was with a Globus tour in Amsterdam, Luxemburg and the 2 hotels there had a slight change in their menu.
Radisson should get a sophisticated coffee machine so people can help themselves that way you don't have to ask them for coffee and it would help a busy day.
It was very chaotic, short of staff several days in the breakfast restaurant, , everybody was running around then accidents occurred spilling coffee, crashing plates. Tables were not cleaned off so it was difficult to find a table. I understand that at times understaffing occurs, I think days like this they should have a sign Please wait to be seated, so they could get a table ready for the amt. of customers to be seated. As people were let in freely, we're looking for a clean table and it was difficult to find one so I landed up cleaning my table plus got my own coffee. I felt it was ok to help out a little bit.
They have a ledge anywhere from 2 1/2-3 inches high before going into the bathroom which doesn't make sense why they have it, it serves no purpose and certainly does not help the décor. I think it is very dangerous especially at night. I kicked it on the first day 3 times and then I put a colorful luggage strap on the floor and left the light on.
2 other couples stumbled on it, laid a towel to even it out, taped some paper across as a reminder that the ledge was there.

Pros: Brilliant location. Comfy bed. Nice decor in the rooms and lovely bar.
Cons: The shower drain blocked, resulting in us not been able to shower properly. The air on did not work and the staff at the bar were slow and actually quite rude. We were probably just unlucky with the room as the room itself was nice, very nice.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the facilities in the hotel are very good. Very nice bar and a the central hall is lovely to sit in.
Cons: I found it a shame that nobody spoke Dutch. I found this kinda strange and annoying that in a Dutch speaking country non of the staff spoke Dutch.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: I booked an executive room which I updated it to a premium but the room was very small. The coffee machine gave us cold coffee. There were no bathrobes nor slippers, something that was supposed to be there and had to ask for. Breakfast was really chaos. Frozen bread, had to wait for everything as there were too many people in a small room. Had to sit outside the room for breakfast.

Pros: location
Cons: staff, facilities, internet
The facilities were poorly up-kept, the internet was extremely slow and the shower did not work. The staff was incredibly rude and they refused to fix the shower or allow us to change rooms the first day. The first few times we brought up the problem, they insinuated that the shower definitely worked, and that we were too incompetent to operate it. The third time, they finally had someone come up to look at the shower, and of course it was broken. Apparently one staff member's confirmation that our shower was broken was not good enough though, and they had to get another staff member to check the shower [which was still obviously broken] again. This whole process took around an hour of the little time we had in Brussels before we were allowed a new room. Furthermore, even after they acknowledged the broken shower, they were not the least bit apologetic for wasting our time and not believing us in the first place. As a last insult, they tried to charge us for items in the minibar that we did not take. Overall, it would have been a nice stay if there weren't any issues that needed staff help, but if something arises and you need the help of the staff, good luck because you'll need it.

4.0 Okay
Pros: I thought the breakfast was nice, and the beds were comfortable.
Cons: I had to ask to switch my room twice as I found the rooms depressing and not light or big enough. The room temperature was very cold and I had to ask for a space heater. I found some concierges helpful; others not. The food in their restaurant was not good and I had an issue with something I ordered. I also wished they had made laundry service available. The lobby is very cold and shuts down early, and there is no where to have a drink, read and relax. The bathroom smelled very funny, and I could not get them to fix this. I also received no offer of help with my luggage when I called down to say I was checking out. Overall, this hotel needs updating and to be much more cozy, light and guest friendly. There is a lot they could do to improve.

Pros: An elegant small hotel in a perfect location, within easy walking distance of the central train station and the old city hall (which is absolutely stunning). The rooms, while small, are richly paneled, unlike many other European hotels. and very comfortable.
Cons: Others have commented on the street noise. True, there is a nightclub across the street, and true, people are on the sidewalk all night long. Still, my room was on the third floor facing the street and the noise didn't bother me at all: it was very muffled and steady.

Pros: The hotel is not directly in the centre but a relatively short walking distance to the historic part of Brussels. A big room with a very pleasant view on the city. Pros: Hotel is in walking distance from Brussels Noord (north train station), which is very convenient. Check-in was very smooth. Staff is very nice and helpful (TV didn't work, called reception and they could help perfectly). Room is very spacious, big bathroom - all very clean and I felt well. Bed was big and comfortable. I liked the complementary water in the room. Had the breakfast - plenty of food, which look fresh. Plus - they had a waffle station, you could make your own, fresh waffle, with plenty of topings. Perfect start to explore Brussels

Pros: The room was very spacious and the hotel is bright, modern, and clean. Good price but mainly made up of business travelers (we were on our honeymoon). Didn't try the restaurant/bar (Smoods) on the first floor because the priced seemed absurdly high.
Would be great for a longer term business stay because of the separate desk area in the room.

3.7 Mediocre
Pros: The room is big for the price we paid. The bar downstairs was nice and the bartenders were friendly and even made us specialty drinks that weren't on the menu
Cons: We got to the room late in the evening, the receptionist gave us our room key. When we got to our room, our key didn't work. This happens sometimes so we weren't too upset. I came back downstairs and told another guy at the desk that we had just arrived and that our key didn't work. He fixed it and apologized, we headed to our room. When we opened the door, a woman shot up out of bed and asked "who's there". I felt terrible. Tried to apologize quickly as I spun out the door. I went back down to the desk and the people working had figured out what happened because the lady I walked in on called the front before we got down. They gave a voucher for 1 free glass of wine or beer and gave us the new key and apologized once more. When I turned to walk away, I realized that the same room that we just interrupted that woman in was still written on the key holder card. I turned and told him "this the same room we just came from". He said "oh, oh, I'm sorry." And gave me the right number. But he almost sent us back to the wrong room a third time. All kinds of other things went wrong while we were there. Loud construction RIGHT outside our window at 6am every morning. We were told we would get a five dollar voucher for the bar for every morning we didn't get our room cleaned and we never got it. 4 days in a row, we didn't want our room cleaned. We didn't care about the voucher, but when we went to the desk to ask for an extra bottle of water for our room (which comes with a free bottle of still water and sparkling every morning if you get it cleaned) the desk attendant said we couldn't have free water if our room hadn't been serviced. But when I mentioned that we never received our vouchers, there was some reason we couldn't get that either. I was so frustrated from no sleep from the construction and all the other issues (many of them too small of importance but also too many to list) that I stopped listening to their reasoning. I had decided that I'll never stay at this hotel again. Which is unfortunate because I had stayed there one night last time I was in Belgium. I didn't have much interaction with the staff as it was another late night. I just needed a bed for the evening. My only complaint was the location was kind of inconvenient but after this experience, i realized the problems are far worse than the location
8.0 Excellent

Perfect start to explore Brussels
Cons: area around Brussels Noord (train station) is somehow dodgy - around the hotel and the way to the city center seems OK walking distance to historic city center around 15-20min - no problem at all with nowadays e-scooters ;) You can hear the traffic in the rooms facing the street, sometimes (police, ambulances) - one needs to consider
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly. The bar and restaurant facilities were excellent. Rooms were comfortable and the bed was easy to sleep in.
Cons: The only thing I can say is that the rooms could do with a revamp. Otherwise it was very pleasant.

Would be great for a longer term business stay because of the separate desk area in the room.
Cons: Not much negative to say. The location is a bit of a hike from the tourist hotspots like the Grand Place. It's close to the Botanique metro station which was convenient but it would have been nicer to have a quicker walk to the city center instead. If you do walk to the city center from the hotel, make sure to walk through the gardens and then down Rue Neuve - it's much nicer than walking between all of the business buildings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros:
Cons: The sink it the bathroom. It is not deep, like a small pool. When you wash your face and brush your teeth is not good to look inside
3.3 Mediocre
Pros:
Cons: Bad service at the reception. There was no hair conditioner nor other complementary bath amenities in the room. The pillows are really thick and there is no possibility to have others. The mattress is old and uncomfortable. Overall the room furniture was quite worn. No cattle to boil water. The two upper floors are in renovation - lots of noise, no electricity in the fitness room.

Pros: -it was really clean, comfy and the room was very big -good value for money -the view was nice, we could see the Atomium from our window -very cozy hotel -perfect location, 15-20min walk to the centre, also close to the train station and bus/tram station -there are restaurants, delhaize shop&go and carrefour express literally 1 minute away -area looks pretty safe, it's quiet, pretty -super helpful staff
Cons: -the gym was closed on our last evening
6.7 Good
Pros: Very good location
Cons: Bad was too much used and thus uncomfortable, shower was broken, room door couldn’t be locked, holder of napkins was broken. Felt like everything was falling a part. Staff not so nice, could be more pleasant. I stayed here years ago and had completely opposite experience. What a surprise?!

Pros: . Good hotel. Very expensive for the quality during weekdays. More reasonable during weekends.
. Friendly helpful staff specially the manager and bellboy
Internet reception was weak/non-existent in my first room. Switched to a room in another floor. Better but still not great.
Cons: . Not near the any of the tourist things (city center, Grand Place, Centeral Train Station
. Had to take the metro to go anywhere or do anything.
. Weak internet signal.
. Breakfast not worth the price.

Pros: very accommodating staff as we asked if our room could be cleaned in the afternoon as we were going to a wedding. Very helpful re ordering taxis.
Cons: The Wifi in the room was atrocious . Could not use the WIFI at all.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the way they welcomed and assisted me
Cons: It was just ok considering its a 5 stars hotel
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very comfortable, staff were pleasant and the breakfast was decent. Clean and pleasant facilities throughout.
Cons: The hairdryer provided wasn't very powerful and the bath tap wouldn't work. Also, in the bath was a horrible anti-slip cover which was very scratchy and didn't make for a pleasant bath.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Easy to get to by public transport, clean, unfortunately a leaking bath tap is to report (607) but other than that it was great value for money
Cons: The leaking bath tap, a bit more work in the finishing of the room (607, as you walk in, the ceiling is literally white planks of sheet wood)

Pros: We stayed for 6 nights in July and very satisfied with our stay. We initially booked a standard room but felt it very tight for 2 people with 2 large suitcases. We were going to be there for 6 nights so we upgraded for the suite for a little extra. We did not try the restaurant or the bar.
Pros: The hotel is neat, location is great. Its about 15-20 min from downtown, but very close to public transport. (Bus stop - Science or Metro: Troon)
Its also very close to Luxembourg plaza and the EU Parliament.
The room we stayed had street view and despite being on the road side wasnt that loud. The breakfast was a good spread. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked for firm beds, but since they didnt have any they were able to arrange for planks under the mattress as a workaround.
They even gave us vouchers for free drinks at the bar for opting to conserve water/energy by not asking to change linens/sheets daily.

Cons: Cons: The mattress is very soft. If you have a bad back then the mattress is not good. I upgraded to the suite hoping I can use the pull out couch, but still struggled almost all of the 6 nights. The hotel tried to arrange for wooden planks to be placed under the mattress, but it only helped a little.
Our room had very low internet wifi. When asked they offered a highspeed network at a cost, but it didn't matter because our room has low signal for any wifi connection.

Pros: The room allocated was historic in character and very clean. The chandeliers were very elaborate and the decorative curtains were impressive but this was not carried through with all the furnishings eg wardrobe. Although there was an impressive communal downstairs area this was set on one side and partially cordoned off and I never saw anyone there. However the restaurant area was fantastic and the food truely exceptional. Make sure you include a meal there. Bathrobes were provided but you did need to request them.

Cons: We found our room overly warm and tried to deal with this by turning down the heating, with little success. Unfortunately our windows were by the venting system and so we had the noise of that instead. I think we were just unlucky - rooms on lower floors were probably not as warm. That said it was not a deal breaker. If I were to go again would ask for a lower floor I think. breakfast can work out expensive. There is the option of petit dejeuner express for thosemore budget conscious.

Pros: Location and quality of most rooms.
Cons: Had issue with staff at checking in, was issued wrong room, then told it was my fault for giving the wrong name ??? by rude receptionist. Try figure that one out. was finally resolved but not after an hour arguing. some rooms don't even merit 2 stars (Travelodge would be better)
4.6 Okay
Pros: The hotel does not have neither a lobby, nor bar. The rooms are either big, barely any furniture, or small. It is run down probably was worthwhile in 1910.
Cons: The room I got in no shape or form looked like the one I booked. They apologized for not having the room size I booked, offered me bigger one, which was dismal, barely had furniture. So decided to check out, but the hotel refused to refund me, said it was not possible. This place needs some serious revamping it is a disgrace, price/value are dismal. I have been in over 36 hotels in the last 2 years, I never gave any low ratings (below 7.5).

Pros: Some of the staff are nice. The location is somewhat convenient
Cons: I was kept waiting for 3 hours to check into my room. The hotel's official policy is that you check in only after 3 pm. If you arrive before then, you'll have to await for room availability. The manager selectively checked in many people ahead of me.

Pros: A beautiful hotel in a great location, with a metro stop right outside.
Cons: We were harassed and almost robbed right out front. If the city is dangerous at night, someone should've told us that before we left.

Pros: Good location, about ten minutes' walk straight downhill from the train station (note that the ten minutes will all be on cobblestones, so if you're rolling your luggage, like most people, you'll be clattering loudly all the way there, through the center of the tourist area). Very friendly and helpful staff. When we arrived much earlier than regular check-in because of an early-morning flight, the young woman at the front desk had no record of our reservation, but had us sit for a few minutes while she emailed and phoned, and eventually she found a record of it. Jet-lagged and fading fast, we were allowed to check in a couple hours early, as soon as a room was ready. When we woke up from a nap to find that it was raining, she went to the back room and found a forgotten umbrella to loan us (we returned it when we left). Good water pressure in the shower. Pros: Location. Size of the room.
Cons: Even though it was booked as a hotel room, what they offered was actually a room in an appartment in another building close to the hotel, whose access was separate from the hotel. Had some problems in finding the appartment when I arrived and only after a second request an employee of the hotel showed me where it was (despite the fact I was with my 3 years old daughter and baggage).
6.0 Good
Pros: Good location, about ten minutes' walk straight downhill from the train station (note that the ten minutes will all be on cobblestones, so if you're rolling your luggage, like most people, you'll be clattering loudly all the way there, through the center of the tourist area). When we woke up from a nap to find that it was raining, she went to the back room and found a forgotten umbrella to loan us (we returned it when we left). Good water pressure in the shower. Good wifi.
Cons: Room was tiny: when we brought our luggage inside, we couldn't move around (and we only had one suitcase and one carry-on each). We had to get really creative, finding ways to stack our things, using the top of the wardrobe (luckily, I'm extremely tall) to get a tiny amount of floor space. Not very clean at all. The luggage storage was shockingly filthy, with trash strewn around. Across the street is a pub, where people were still partying after sunrise, making us feel a little nervous when we checked out at 6:30 a.m. and had to go clattering up the street past a big crowd of drunks. Breakfast didn't open until 7:00 a.m. (but when we checked out, all the food was already sitting out at room temperature). And the easy downhill walk of ten minutes from the train station turns into a challenging uphill walk of 12-15 minutes back to the station, towing clattering luggage over the cobblestones.

Pros: Short walk from the train station and very close to all the tourist spots. Great value for the price. Very nice continental breakfast with a view!
Cons: We stayed on a Friday night and the bar across the street didn't stop playing music till 4am. Noisy people in alley till 5am. Bring earplugs or request a room not facing the street!

Cons: No direct access by taxi . Hard to find the first time. Very hard.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Location was central for site seeing, price online was good. Friendly staff for our brief interaction. Great room, really spacious which was a genuine surprise in older europe buildings. Good hot water and amenities.
Cons: Big caveat... this was the weekend of brussels beer week fest so maybe it is not nearly this bad normally without the partiers...But, Very noisy from the outside alley/bars all night (til 6am when we got up to leave). We live in baltimore and are used to traffic and sirens and people. This was not normal amounts of noise. The old windows/building let in every single conversation and beer bottle clink. Pretty much not sleepable without the jet lag. As we checked in another patron was demanding a refund and trying to check out because of the noise. I see why now...
