Cons: - not enough staff, we had to wait long to get our bags - leakage of water boiler in the room - no refilling of the coffee in room - expensive breakfast

Pros: We accidentally went to the wrong hotel NC hotel in Brussels. We were very kindly directed to the correct location. When we reached the hotel the location was breathtaking. Right in the middle of the old town. Cobbled streets, markets, amazing food all on our door step. I couldn’t have asked for a better location. The room was nothing special, however we went for a basic room. It was clean, uncluttered and beds where super comfy. All in all a wonderful 23 hours in Brussels. If you are looking for central location and value for money! This is 100% it.

Pros: Fantastic position, very clean and spacious room. Nice staff. The hotel in just in front of the Place du Sablon and very near to lots of nice restaurants, brasseries and bars. Very easy to walk down to the the Grand Place and to the main attractions.

Cons: The lobby is a bit limited by the tables of the restaurant/breakfast. Not enough room to sit downstairs for more than two or three people together.

Pros: Great location- staff were friendly and hotel was clean.

Cons: A hotel with four stars is obliged to have slippers for guests in the rooms, and I think that bathrobes would also not be superfluous. Parquet floor is cold, so it is uncomfortable to walk by barefoot.

Cons: There were no towels in the room but they brought them quickly

Pros: Facilities were excellent as is the location. Staff really efficient, helpful and cheerful. Room very comfortable and fully equipped. Restaurant meal that we had on our final night was superb.

Cons: Rather disappointed by the lack of beer choice in the bar. Belgium is one of the "homes of beer" after all and it would have been nice to have a range available. Still this is the only moan I have and it's a very minor one in comparison to the overall enjoyment of our stay.

Cons: I did not like that they did not find my booking immediately, as my room was already given to another person. Indeed, I received already a welcome email and I was not yet checked in. This was due to the fact that they did not ask the written name of the person they gave the room to. Also, they did not give the password to access the internet spontaneously.

MORE AMENITIES IN THE BATHROOM --- ONE SMALL PACKAGE OF COTTON DIDN'T LAST LONG 5 EUROS FOR DELIVERY OF ICE TO THE ROOM IS EXCESSIVE VERY WEAK SELECTION IN RESTAURANT FRONT DESK FAILED TO MAKE WAKE-UP CALL ON MORNING OF OUR DEPARTURE

Pros: Good location and service. If you want to do some shopping in quiet and elegant surroundings, this is the hotel you should stay. Most conformtable bed during my entire trip so far. Mini bar is great, I like the hand cream especially. Oh the quality of the slippery is fantastic!

Cons: Probably something need to be done in terms of soundproof.

Cons: The thing we didn't like is my husband was robbed 100 meters in the vicinity of the hotel. However, this was not the fault of the hotel.

Pros: The bed was comfortable, the temperature in the room is easily regulated, the room is well sound-proofed, so it is quiet at night. We had a corner room and the view is really nice. The light controls and the curtain controls are automated and can be manipulated with a push of a button. The location is great for shopping, walking to local attractions, and as a starting point to almost anywhere. I might or might not stay again - the negatives are not terrible, in the grand scheme of things.

Cons: The shower enclosure is not well designed and the water constantly goes over the lip of a very shallow shower pan - even if you try to stand up against the wall, only shower with the handheld shower, etc. So we couldn't enjoy the rainfall shower head which was huge and lovely because then you essentially have a lake in your bathroom. For the most part we had a soggy towel on the floor near the shower at all hours. Also the toilet is separated from the rest of the room with just glass so privacy or soundproofing there does not exist, and given that it is a European -sized room, if one of you is up to use the bathroom at night, it is impossible for the other to stay asleep as it is an echo chamber. The breakfast is severely overpriced for the options available and/or service provided - at least one of them needs to improve. Even though we travel a lot, still for a tourist from the US it is quite surprising - for 28 Euro per person I would want something more lavish in terms of food variety or much better service - waiters pouring your coffee or tea instead of you wresting with the automatic machines - something.

Pros: The hotel seems to be renovated recently. Rooms & Bathrooms are clean. Rooms are fully automated. Wifi is free and fast. There are so many elevators, We never waited for one.

Cons: Hotel management is really bad. My booking was for a certain number of nights. And it was a Free-Cancellation booking. I decided to leave after 2 nights and I was told I can't. They claim that once I've checked in, I can not change the number of nights. They also claim that this their policy. After checking out, I read their policy and it doesn't mention anything of this sort. Sorry for my bad review. But they wouldn't even try to help.

Pros: The stuff was helpful and kind. We just leave our postcards on the reception and they said they will take care about it. We get the room Nr.62 and it was just perfect on the top of the hotel (6th floor). Was big and and comfortable with private sauna and terrace. In the room we had everything what we needed: iron, ironing board, hairdryer, coffee machine with capsules.....

Cons: The hotel is in the city center, but Brussels city center is really big and from the Grand Place is around 30-40 min walking. ...but anyway the hotel is perfect!

Pros: Staff was above all helpful, accessible, attentive. A real professional team, from the kitchen to the front desk to cleaning crew. Location ended up being better than we thought, between the Grand Place in one direction and EU/Museum hub in the other. Easy 7 min walk to the metro.

Cons: No drawers! Staying for a week, we wanted to unpack into the closet and drawers. The bed-side tables could have had drawers, and it would have been easier to organize our belongings. We also wanted the room in the photo and thought we'd gotten that room, a combination of modern-old world European decor. We got just a typical, any-hotel styled room.

Pros: Very clean. Good Location. Nice welcome when we arrived to Check-In. Our Room was very nice. We used the restaurant one night...food was good but service was slow...we weren’t in a rush, so it was fine.

Cons: Everything was nice but the room Needs another waste basket near the desk...we had to keep going into the Bathroom and Shower Room to throw anything out. Also, in the Bathroom there was no place to hang the hand towel...there was a Small Hook to the right side but like under the sink... towel kept falling. We used the shelf instead - No Biggie.

Pros: Great location. It's opposite the Centraal station. The hotel is very clean and beautifully decorated. Staff were friendly and check in/out was very easy. Didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but there are great breakfast places right behind the property. Would definitely stay again!

Pros: The hotel is located right in the middle of all the touristy sights you want to see in the grand place. The staff is great they speak English and 7 other different languages. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable.

Cons: What I didn't like was that breakfast was not included and the city tax you have to paid at the end of your stay. City tax is about 4.75 euros per day.

Pros: This is a perfect hotel for short stay in the central of Brussels. Prices are competitive, the hotel is newly renovated and the rooms, while on the small side (as expected for a Ibis). the breakfast, while not included in my rate, was very good and with a good range of food (for a Ibis). In any case, as you are in the middle of the historic center of Brussels, you have plenty of restaurants around. The hotel has a parking next to it, and is closed to the Central train station, so whatever your mean of transportation, you're covered.

Cons: Our room was comfortable however no air conditioning working so my wife had to leave the window open during the night. Big mistake the noise from drunken homeless shouting and screaming was horrendous. We asked to move rooms and staff said they would arrange this and on our return from our day out to collect our luggage and they would give us new room. We arrived back to find they had given our current room to another party and had no rooms for us. After explaining the situation they contacted staff we had spoken to in the morning and gave us an alternative room. But we had to explain to them and ask them to contact the other staff makes me wonder would they have done so if we hadn’t been quite cross we had paid for a room for 4 nights and they seemed to think that it was our fault for changing rooms. Regarding air con it states this is a facility but we’re told that this had been turned off because it’s now into colder weather. How can they then put this as one of their facilities !! After paying £580 for 4 nights we are quite disgusted and will never return there. The only saving grace to this hotel is the breakfast excellent choice and plentiful We had not visited Brussels for some years and we are very disappointed with our stay

Pros: Compact but has everything we needed including a usable desk. Decent bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Good selection at the breakfast buffet. Situation is perfect for time on Grand Place and surrounding attractions.

Cons: Paid parking was okay and right beneath the hotel. However, the lift doesn’t open into the hotel because it’s not the hotel’s parking, which wouldn’t be an issue except that one has to climb one flight of stairs to get to road level. We had a couple of overnight bags so it wasn’t a problem, but someone with large, heavy luggage may not enjoy the experience. That said, the parking entrance door is right next to the hotel’s entrance.

Pros: A very well designed hotel with good, clean rooms. A very good breakfast selection too. It's also very close to Brussels Central Station and the tourist attractions of Old Brussels. It's also worth knowing that if you have a Eurostar ticket from London to Brussels midi, you do not have to buy a ticket from midi to central stations.

Cons: I would have liked to have had a kettle in the room. I think it's important to be able to make a hot drink in your room and not have to use facilities usually on the ground floor.
