Pros: This was the second time we visited Liège and stayed at Marlène's B&B, and it was still as lovely as last time. A very personal and cosy house in a quiet neighbourhood, a spacious and clean room, and a fantastic homemade breakfast and wonderful host. We will definitely be coming back.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The landylady is super friendly, very informative and very caring! Had a great stay in a beautiful house. Thank you!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very nice welcome and beautiful room
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The House is an very we’ll maintained old mansion, where you could feel like at Home. My room was the Aurore, which despite having the windows on the Street is very quiete since the neighborough is so. Madame Marlene is very friendly and likes to talk to guests as well as give advices about Liège. Le breakfast is super with all home-Made products. She bakes a wonderful bread and other healthy local products are available. She sita with me having breakfast together and it was so nice to have these nice chats in the morning, despite my poor French! She suggested me very nice things to do. The House is very clean with all facilities that everybody expects. It is located only 1,5 km from the City Centre but it is uphill, so if you want to walk, you definitely stay fit! Nevertheless there is a bus stop 300 m away which brings you down to the centre. Very convenient! I just had a wonderful time even though I was there only for a weekend, but if I will come back to Liège I will definitely come here!!
Cons: Nothing!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast, room large and airy. Separate sitting area with kitchen facilities. Shower excellent. Hostess is an artist that likes to serve her own food for breakfast - rolls and jam. Peaceful area. If you are not fit then the hill to walk up from the town will help you get fit.
Cons: There is nothing that we didn't like or appreciate. A top B&B!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Marlene was the most accommodating hostess, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were lovely and she introduced us to local delicacies. Our room was really spacious - a suite - and such good value.
Cons: The only drawback for some visitors, but not us, is that it is situated at the top of quite a steep hill.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location, very comfortable and the hostes is amazing friendly, informative and helpful. Amazing in all aspects
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We had such a nice time in Liege! Great service and breakfast, cosy bed and very clean linen and towels! We would definitely come back!
Excellent 9.6

Cons: Nothing

Excellent 9.6
Pros: The place is an art B&B, it has interesting art collections, very atmospheric and the interior of the room is quite creative yet comfortable. The owners are really friendly and nice and care for their guests comfort. Breakfast is great too. It’s very interesting alternative to hotel, I loved the experience.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: A very interesting place with a special atmosphere of an old house and its own history. Many thanks to Serge for the share time and his advices. He is responsible for our good staying in the city, the route through the streets and the places of interest,.. and also our tasting of the best waffles in Liege :) Thanks a lot!!!
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We parked just outside & the owners were very friendly & helpful.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Location excellent. Breakfast good and catered for dietary needs. Serge and Guido were very friendly hosts. Gave us ideas of where to visit and eat in Liege. The unique design of the room and house were worth going to see. Parked outside the door and didn't need the car again until we left 2 nights later. My husband loved it excellent place to stay in Georges Simenon's birth town.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The whole townhouse was quirky and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, hosts were great and very accommodating.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Wonderfully quirky house with lovely hosts. Very comfortable bed and the best ever pains au chocolat for breakfast.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic service, thoroughly friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed our stay very much!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The hosts were very friendly and speak perfect German, French and English. On our arrival, they gave us a map and some information about the city. There were nice extras in the room like hand cream, a coffee machine, a water boiler and tea.
Cons: The drain smelled a bit before it was used. Nothing else to dislike…

Pros: All excellent and great hospitality. Strongly recommend.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: We stayed in a very spacious and comfortable apartment. It was a pity we only stayed for a short night and couldn't enjoy the big terrace. The breakfast is also very worth it for the price and the owner very agreeable.
Cons: Around 30 min walking from the main square but easily reached by transports or car.

Excellent 8.3
Pros: Large comfortable bedrooms in hotel with modern stylish interiors
Cons: Hotel’s exterior is a rather ugly 1950’s cement blockhouse. Whilst on-site parking is convenient the hotel’s parking spaces are very small and hard to find.
Good 7.9
Pros: The breakfast was not cheap, but very good. The hotel was on a walking distance to the Centre of Liege. You could easily find a variety of restaurants.
Cons: We had a room at the backside of the hotel without a view.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Breakfasts were excellent. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and very comfortable; and the hotel's location is near perfect, as it is easy to get to and is close to restaurants, shops and bars.
Cons: The few parking spaces in the garage, with signs that were too small to read from the car.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. A public car park is next to the hotel.
Cons: Our room was quite warm and without climate control.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Location, room, a la carte menu and staff (Adrian and Gabriela, amazing people)
Cons: Poor breakfast
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Clean room . Nice breakfast .
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Nice size room and lovely bathroom. Staff fantastic couldn’t do enough and so friendly.
Cons: Room had view into car park and air conditioning wasn’t very good.
Good 7.5
Pros: + Nice big double bed with good quality bedsheets + Appreciated the kettle, free coffee and tea, and free bottle of water in the room + Great location, close to old town and main station + I liked the refill toiletries - good quality and no plastic waste + Room was clean, cleaning lady very nice
Cons: - Shower floor didn't look clean or needs remodeling - Loud techno music from somewhere in the area on Saturday night made it very hard to fall asleep - Appreciated the mini fridge but, alas, it never cooled down - A lot has been said about the slow WiFi (all the more peculiar that this still hasn't been fixed...). It's basically useless. They should at least state this correctly on booking.com, nobody expects 1992 WiFi when it's advertised as "WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge" - Altogether found the value for money not sufficient. Should be 20% cheaper or offer decent WiFi and soundproofing, and look nicer - the building and the parking deck-view are indeed hideous
Excellent 9.6
Pros: a comfortable room with a very easy check in and check out . Well handled with efficient staff
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Super friendly staff, very helpful, great breakfast, fine food in the restaurant

Excellent 9.6
Pros: The proprieter was brilliantly accommodating.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location near the city centre. There is also a large shopping mall nearby. Very clean rooms with everything that you might need during you stay. Very friendly and helpful hostess. Communication prior to the arrival. Early check-in was also possible, which is very convenient.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Just perfect and wonderful Staff. Cleaner than a 4 star hotel or any other big hotels
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The location is 20 minutes to the train station and 20 minutes to the old town. The neighborhood is very quiet (almost nobody around after 9 pm) and the bed was very comfortable so I had a good sleep. No problem with the hot water and the hair dryer. The lady in the reception was very nice and helpful. Overall, it was a good experience for me.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: better than any 5 star hotels
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Comfortable, well located, clean and good value
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Our double room with balcony looked down a street to the river so we had a view of the barges and boats on the river. The situation suited us perfectly as it was close to the Boverie Museum and within walking distance (about 800 metres) of restaurants and the cathedral and St James. The breakfast was plentiful and our check in and check out was easy as the hostess was very helpful.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel is very well situated and within walking distance of the town center. The hotel staff was very friendly and very accurate; Any question was answered promptly. The staff keeps a good look-out to avoid problems and tries to overcome them.
Good 7.9
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: No air con and the fan didn’t work. Not enough plug sockets to charge phone etc
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I loved everything about this hotel! The madame who runs it is adorable, friendly and very service minded. GREAT breakfast! The room was very clean and despite being very tiny still had plenty of space. Nice location on the island, still very easy to find the city center just a short walk away. I would absolutely come back to this hotel if I'm ever in Liège again!
Cons: The room was a bit hot at night with no AC, there was a table fan in the room though so we were pretty ok! Could also open a window!

Excellent 9.6
Pros: Literally a 2minute walk from the amazing train station. Close to shops and cafes too. The room was a very good size and clean. Very large & comfy bed. The staff at reception were very friendly and very helpful.
Cons: Never discovered what it was but there was a strange smell in the bathroom. Not too unpleasant but noticeable. When I got in the room the windows were locked. Had to go to reception and have the receptionist come and open them with a key. Air con did not work which considering how hot it was, was not good. I asked for someone to look at it, but didn't make any difference.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Good breakfast. Decent price. Beds comfortable. Bath nice. Extremely convenient to the main train station/bus station
Cons: Construction going on around the hotel
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Location.comfort quietness
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The location is great, good breakfast and friendly staff. A convenient starting point for exploring the city.
Cons: The only negative detail is that it's a bit noisy at night time: crowdy district, a pub downstairs, not really good soundproofing of the rooms and some drunk guests :).
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Good large room, staff helpful.
Good 7.9
Pros: Excellent location opposite the TGV station (which is a little away from the city centre). Secure and safe. Good restaurants locally.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Great hotel once your were in it, but building site next door meant no parking at hotel even to unload bags. No one available to assist with bags. Secure parking available 5 min away. Hotel should give instruction on how to arrive. Rooms were comfortable,,very clean, no noise, so excellent except for parking. Breakfasts were good and getting a voucher ahead of time saved a few euros. Difficult to comment on value for money because it was the formula one weekend and all hotels hiked rates.
Cons: Arrival at hotel as above
Good 7.9
Pros: It was very convenient for the station, and our room was internal, and therefore very quiet.
Cons: It was all a bit functional and impersonal, and (not the fault of the hotel) next to a building site.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very good Value for money
Cons: Rooms to much curtains / carpet / sources of dust for allergy

Excellent 9.2
Pros: The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly and efficient. The restaurant food at dinner was good and there was a good choice available for breakfast. Overall, an elegant and comfortable place from which to explore the city.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Lovely hotel, good staff. Breakfast could offer more choise
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great Location, very kind and polite staff. Car park close by. I took a very low and wide car and managed to get it in safely to the underground car park. this is not important, really , but it is for some customers. I don't know Liege, however , this is a great 5 star place to stay. Its an amazing building. Many levels and wonderful views. The original building and renovations are so in keeping. a great place to stay
Cons: Not sure there was anything really
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very friendly staff, view from the rooftop bar
Cons: View from the room
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Really good breakfast! Very competent staff. A good experience.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great staff nice hotel
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very high standard of service and facilities
Cons: Pillows were too soft
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great service and restaurant recommendations upon late arrival. Also valet parking service was great, with the car sitting outside upon leaving after breakfast, as per request.
Cons: Next to an alleyway with very long steep stairs to get to town but is not lit up.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The front desk and concierge always go above and beyond the call of duty when you have a need or request. The hotel is impeccable in its presentation, amenities, ambience and location. If you wonder whether it is worth the price - the answer is yes.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Great staff, extremely friendly and helpful. Loved being able to get a great cocktail at the (indoor) bar. Great view of the city. Decent location to get into it too. Grateful for the valet service.
Cons: Quiet room means a room beneath the building airco units on the roof. Hallways weren't vacuumed by the looks of it, after our three days the white paint dust on the corridor between the two elevators was still lying around. Due to rain and wasps the outdoor cocktail bar was closed. Would have loved to get a king's landing. Leaking shower door and mold in the corners, did not meet expectations.

Good 7.9
Pros: - wide bed in single room as well - practical location close to main railway station - any restaurants and supermarket close to hotel - breakfast ok
Cons: - if window opened, noise from street little bit... - ca 25 min walking distance from old town, but easy connection by bus as well
Good 7.9
Pros: the A/C
Cons: the thunderstorm in the night
Good 7.1
Pros: Normal hotel. No more no less. You have everything you need. But too expensive for this hotel. If I stay at Liege more nights definitely will choose more charming place with better breakfast
Cons: Room is too little. Breakfast has no vegetables at all.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The location was alright
Cons: I booked a double room for 2 adults and 2 kids. When we arrived the tried to put us in a room with 2 single beds, then when they finally showed us the double room it was only big enough for 2 adults.. nothing like the pictures at all. Plus the room was extremely dusty
Good 7.5
Pros: Breakfast was very average. Not much of a selection.
Cons: Bedrooms are small.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was excellent. ☺
Cons: Everything was cool
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Friendly and attentive staff. Very close to the station.
Cons: a little far from the center.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The hotel is a good choice for the people that prefer to be close to train station. It is nice, eventhough quite old. The staff was very nice. They let me check in in the morning. So I went to directly fresh cleaned room. Breakfast is very good. Enough choices.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Location, Staff and restaurents rearby
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Location was excellent as we were travelling to Verviers for connection to Grand Prix, breakfast variety was superb. The bar/restaurant staff were very friendly despite their English being very little. Reception staff and their English were excellent
Cons: Disappointing that there were no tea/coffee facilities in rooms despite it stating tea/coffee maker as a room facility

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice , clean and quiet small hotel . Highly recommended
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Good location. Very easy to get to downtown. Nice retro vibe
Cons: No air conditioners and very noisy at night.
Good 7.1
Pros: Little room and badroom Friendly staff Good breakfast
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The private parking ($) is a bonus.
Excellent 9.2
Cons: Room desperately needed air conditioning in the summer.
Good 7.9
Pros: Friendly staff, good location
Cons: Walls are too thin, you can hear snoring from other rooms for example.
Good 6.7
Pros: Room rate was extremely cheap and was worth the the room which was clean, recently refurbished, same for the bathroom. Hotel is located next to the histotical center, has a closed parking lot (garage) with good fare per day. Breakfast looked good. Staff was incredibly helpful, nice and motivated to make my stay a success. Breakfast looked good even though I did not check that option.
Cons: Room was small (individual with one single bed) and had no window (well, there was 1 but it opened on a closed courtyard with elevator shaft at 50 cm from the window)
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: The staff was kind!
Cons: The room need a general refurbish and the smell in the room was so bad that persisted in the cloths days after!
Good 7.1
Pros: Good location. The property was clean and a good value place to rest your head for the night. The staff were very friendly.
Cons: The rooms were too warm as no air con and the bathroom was tiny basically a little cupboard so could barely move in it.
Good 7.1
Pros: Relatively inexpensive, bare bones, just needed a place to sleep pretty much. Nothing bad, nothing great. The staff guy at night speaks English, the lady in the day...nope.
Cons: There is no feasible way to actually stop and check in until you've found a parking spot. And good luck with that. The streets are very confusing, and there's a barrier in front of the front door that prevents someone from pulling to the side at the door to handle check in before going to the reserved (paid for) parking. 10€ for parking isn't bad, but you have to check in first, then get the key fob for the garage, then park your car, but there's no where to park while you're checking in.

Good 7.9
Pros: Location was good, staff helpful and shower excellent!
Cons: Parking for motorcycle in hotel car park non-existent. Told that Motorcycles we’re not welcome there. No explanation given. Had to drove a mile away and walk with all our bags. Disgusted with this discrimination against bikers!
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: Very little
Cons: Rooms stink for humidity
Good 7.9
Pros: Comfortable room, new or refurbished, friendly and helpful staff, city centre easily accessible, secure underground car park. Make your own waffles at breakfast was a real hit.
Cons: I haven't been accosted by so many beggars in Europe for forty years. These were not immigrants, or at least spoke fluent French. I don't have the answer, but clearly there is a social malaise in Liege that needs to be addressed if tourists are going to be made to feel welcome. It's not the hotel's fault but it definitely impacted our stay.
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: The location
Cons: Poor breakfast, hardly no greens,, staff not service minded, s tains on the carpet in the room, no air condition in the room.
Good 6.3
Pros: The room was clean and tidy but the toilet was very noisy due to it being a maserater toilet
Cons: I booked a twin room for me and my mate. The room was a good size but not laid out well. The beds were side by side. We had booked the hotel as it had parking but when we arrived we were told we couldn't park our motorbikes on site and had to park in a multi storey carpark 5 minutes across town.
Okay 5.8
Cons: excessively hot room. no air-conditioning. no ventilation. windows locked. a basic fan was provided with the room.
Okay 5.4
Cons: The big problem with this hotel is their centrally controlled air con system, which did not seem to be working well enough, and the windows in our room were hermetically sealed. We were sweltering in this breathless room and couldn't sleep - I had to call reception at about midnight who swiftly moved us to a room where the windows opened. I'd never normally complain like this but it was like being suffocated. Big relief and a much better night's sleep (although the new bathroom smelled slightly of smoke!). The hotel is nice, clean, spacious, well located and people are friendly, but the temperature control was a total deal breaker. There was also no apology at any stage, or explanation. Reception check in was also slow as they only had one person on the desk.
Good 6.7
Pros: Good central location. Basic breakfast buffet but ok. Nice sized comfy room. Car park on site although publci, but good price. Be careful if using the car park as the entrance is before the hotel and is easy to miss particularly as there is soem roadworks going on next to the entrance. Good free wifi.
Cons: Staff seemed pre-occupied with training new members and forgot to explain things like the wifi, breakfast and any city info. A lot of people hanging around the hotel entrance late at night.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very friendly staff, great location!
Cons: No airco, and very small room!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Location was good, and centrally located. Rooms and facilities were as expected
Cons: The site lists parking beneath the hotel. However the carpark is not available to motorcycles and this should be made clear on the WEB site. We were given the impression that this was the first time that they had received this complaint but literally 20 minutes after our arrival another 5 motorcyclists turned up and had the same problem. We choose our destination based entirely on being able to have secure parking for our bikes and whilst we ended up in a carpark a short walk away, this carpark was also not very accommodating. Insisting that our 5 bikes which took up only 2 spaces would still be charged individually.

Good 6.7
Pros: Very good bathroom comfy beds and a wifi adapter for every apartment.
Cons: The flats looked far better in the pictures and there was a nasty smell in the flats. Something like medicine. Also not bery clean and well kept. Other than that everything was fine.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The apartment is nicely located in the inner city and well-equipped.
Cons: The only thing that was lacking is a dish towel for the kitchen.
Okay 4.6
Cons: We were given the wrong apartment, which was much smaller and much less convenient than the one we'd chosen and paid for. We'd booked a two bedroom flat with terrace, and ended up with no terrace, and only one bedroom + a sofa bed. Very, very inconvenient as we were travelling with elderly friends.
Good 6.7
Pros: Great location, comfortable apartment, good bed and bathroom, quiet at night
Cons: No host, very impersonal, kitchen appliances were very dirty and inadequate
Okay 5.8
Pros: Location
Cons: Linens dirty. Walls filthy. No air conditioning. Walls painted black. Very dark inside
Good 7.1
Pros: Full apartment, good location in city center
Cons: The sofa is also a bed but therefore its really uncomfortable. During my stay and probably a few more weeks at least, there are people renovating a building across the steet: a lot of noise starting at 7 am.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Spacious, clean, great location for sights and groceries from local store less than a block away. Lots of restaurants close too. Parked in park axe down the street first Eve and overnight ($24euros)but next nights stayed on street just in front and police walking by said it was ok as long as we left early (before 8). Not sure if that is ok but no tickets for us and was sooo convenient. LOVED this place. Wish weather had been nice enough to be on lovely patio.
Cons: Lighting in living room at night was a bit too dim even with lamp(husband said painting room lighter colour would have helped that. A cloth for the kitchen would have been nice.
Good 6.7
Cons: Very noisy, expensive parking arround, imposibility to lower temperature in the appartament
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Difficult to review Cathédrale as I was relocated to the En Neuvice flat after technical problems at the Cathédrale flat. But En Neuvice is nice as well and is well located in a vibrant, but still not too loud part of the city
Cons: No shower just a tub

Cons: Having to drive on the wrong side of the road!!

Pros: Laкdge Free Parking, Air conditioning
Cons: No refrigerator Overprice (during F1 in Spa)
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Pleasant and helpful staff clean room plenty parking
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Breakfast was self service, traditional and sufficient. Each room has Air Conditioning. Hotel is close to the town centre which was approx a 20 minute walk away. There is a bus stop by the hotel for people who would not choose to walk to the town.
Cons: Pets ( Dogs ) are pemitted to sit with their owners in the resturant. This would not be allowed to happen in the UK. There were dogs every where as the Campanile actively encourages customers to bring their pets. At one point I almost stood in dog waste that a customer had left uncollected outside the door of their room. Another customer pushed their pet in a pram which they then placed beside their table as they ate.
Good 7.9
Pros: The receptionist was very friendly and positive, parking is very convenient in front of the hotel. A nice hotel to stay.
Cons: A bit too far from a city center but still walkable distance (2.7 km but uphill).
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very comfortable and convenient for going around Ville de Liege.

Good 7.1
Pros: Restaurant for evening meals was very good - great service and food. Buffet Breakfast was good but a limited choice. Clean towels were provided daily.
Cons: No air conditioning. There were fans provided and you could open the window but the noise on some evenings made it difficult to sleep. We looked straight into another room. No mirror in the bedroom or hair dryer.
Good 7.1
Pros: Good location and secure car park
Cons: Visa machine not working at check in. Suddenly panicked that my cards weren’t working. It was the machine.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very comfortable bed.
Cons: To use the shower you needed to hold it in hand, no wall mounting made it awkward to use. Room 28, can't comment for the other rooms.
Good 7.5
Pros: Location was good, room was fair size - though bit dated with certain interior. It was clean. Breakfast was fair. Staff was pleasant. We stayed one night, so room served the purpose.
Cons: Room is not sound proof, could hear our neighbour very well. Parking - paid parking is only available from 16:30 and then you can pick up car from 8am in the morning. So if you arrive earlier, you will have to find alternative parking and you will not be able to leave earlier than 8am.
Okay 5.8
Pros: Super location for the money. Nice staff.
Cons: In the morning the electricity went out for maybe an hour or so. The room was cold and no way to turn more heat on. Furthermore in the morning there was no warm water. I mean really, it was ice cold. The parking was around the corner on an old covered yard with the roof giving in in several places. Considering the price I got I did not complain but will not stay there again.
Good 6.7
Pros: Stuff is willing to help. Speaking English. Even some spoke Russian. Nice restaurant downstairs.
Cons: Restaurant was very long to cook food, although it was quite good. I was hoping to take shower in the room for 70 euro. In the late night water was cold. At 9 water was cold. Hot water appeared at 9.50 when I had to be in other part of town in 10 minutes. Didn’t have a shower at all. It really sucks.
Good 7.1
Pros: Good place to sleep if you are planning to be out all day Good size bathroom
Cons: Only one light was working in the room. Photos on the booking site and actual look of the room varies
Okay 5.0
Pros: Staff generally helpful and friendly
Cons: Small, stuffy room. No aircon so opened window; then got lots of street noise. Closed window, noise only marginally better. Managed some sleep with window closed and fan provided by hotel
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Very friendly and polite receptionist, comfy rooms.
Cons: Breakfast quite poor if compared with the price.

Okay 5.0
Pros: Free car parking
Cons: Not clean , very small and basic
Good 6.7
Pros: Quiet location. Friendly staff
Cons: Bed was really firm. The hotel was in middle of an industrial/shopping area.
Mediocre 2.9
Pros: Parking was easy
Cons: The smell It was Dirty The worst Ibis I have ever stayed at You should send someone down there to take a look Very poor. The sink had someone’s spit in it from toothpaste The shower had hairs in it The place stank of stale smoke Both room has burn marks from cigarettes in the sinks Toilet floor had urine on it. We slept in our clothes and left in the morning without a word. At 11 PM after travelling all day across Europe we were too tired to start an enquiry with the front desk. Very disappointing
Good 6.3
Pros: Convenient location, reasonably secure compound for parking
Cons: Booked 2 family rooms each with 2 beds. When checked in one room only had a double bed; receptionist confirmed that our reservation was for 2 x family rooms, each with 2 beds but for some reason their system had allocated one room as a double ie only one bed. The hotel was full so she couldn’t change our room. Receptionist apologetic and agreed we could have 2 x complimentary breakfasts and would inform staff on handover. Not ideal for a good night sleep for driving for 10 hours the next day but we accepted it was a genuine mistake by the hotel and accepted the offer of breakfast for the 2 people effected. Next morning however when I tried to explain why we weren’t paying for breakfast the member of staff started shouting at me that we had to pay and “don’t tell me I have to give you free breakfast”. Even other guests were shocked at how she was shouting at me. As I continued to explain she told me “all the rooms are the same, it is not possible to have 2 beds”. When I pointed out that we also had a room with 2 beds she told me “it is not possible to book a family room for only 2 people”. She told me it was my mistake for booking the wrong room (hang on, she just told me that all the rooms were the same and that I couldn’t book a family room for just 2 people - so which is it?). She then stormed off and said “don’t bother paying then” or words to that effect. When I opened the booking and went to show her the reservation for 2 x family rooms she shouted “go away, you are bothering me”. So this one rude/aggressive member of staff has started our holiday off with bad feelings - well done. Perhaps the member of staff needs training in how to speak to people if she is to be in a position that deals with customers. At the very least she should have allowed me to explain the situation and what had been agreed with previous member of staff and certainly not start shouting at me.
Okay 5.0
Pros: free parking at the property.
Cons: they hold my guarantee and i have to call booking.com in order to release it.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The hotel has a good location just off the highway and a secure car park which is locked overnight. Good beer in the fridge located in reception.
Cons: They weren’t aware of our booking, receptionist had to login to the booking.com admin to look for it even though we’d made the reservation many months earlier - somewhat lucky they still had a room for us. The hotel has no air conditioning which normally isn’t a huge problem but small rooms heat up quickly in the summer months and the hotel is pet friendly, which is fine but we weren’t quite prepared for the number of dogs in the hotel. The breakfast was the saddest excuse for a breakfast we’ve ever experienced, if we didn’t have a 800km drive ahead of us we’d have gone elsewhere despite having paid upfront for it.
Good 7.1
Pros: Clean, comfortable
Cons: No food deliveries available in area
Good 7.5
Pros: Bed very comfortable. Easy parking.
Cons: Hallways could be cleaner and free of service items.
Good 6.3
Pros: Good location just off the motorway. Free parking and a vet small and basic room. Ok just for one night. It serves a purpose.
Cons: Room was tiny. Nowhere to put a case down. No way of closing the toilet door and despite having a non smoking room it still stank of smoke through the windows from the people smoking outside.
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: The shower had good power and the room was clean
Cons: The sink was blocked, some of the lights didn't work and the bed felt like concrete!

Pros: Convenient for the motorway.
Cons: Unpleasant smell from the drains. "Bathroom" door could not be shut. Wall mounting for shower head was broken.
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: Easy to access from E40, free parking
Cons: Located on very noisy industrial estate. noise from other occupants, very small room with small window. Unable to close window to block noise as room would have no ventilation.
Mediocre 3.8
Cons: Did the job but no more
Good 7.1
Pros: Place and price
Cons: Very small and old
Good 7.9
Pros: Location closer to the motorway and big shopping store on walking distance which was helpful to manage food
Okay 5.4
Pros: Free wifi, fast access to the motorway, and just a few minutes walkway to the bus stop in the city center, several opportunities for grocerie shopping near by
Cons: Not really privacy in your room, allergic reaction to the water, musty smell in the bathroom
Good 7.1
Pros: Bed was comfy. You could arrive at 2pm.
Cons: Shower holder didnt hold shower once turned on.
Good 7.5
Cons: The price and being very close to the motorway.
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Really bad experience, dirty and awful! Charged me cash and I was booked, charged my card after a week, then refunded me less money!
Okay 4.2
Cons: Very dirty, drab rooms, bathroom was filthy, noisy residents, but plenty of parking and pleasant staff. Ok for a one night stop but very, very basic.
