Pros: The Room: The decor was to die for - absolutely charming and tastefully done whilst still being practical, great bed too! The Staff: Super friendly, helpful with great energy and enthusiasm. The Restaurant: Very cool with delicious food options.

Cons: The location: Whilst there was a lot of cool shopping to be done only a station away from the hotel I felt that it was a little bit out from the center and other main attractions. I guess its because I stayed in the center of the city prior to coming to this hotel.

Pros: Room decoration and bed comfort. Location close to many cozy restaurants and to Kurfürstendamm. Very nice staff.

Cons: Shower a bit small with risk of flooding.

Pros: The room was very stylish and modern, the location is good, you can find a lot of restaurants and bars around.

Cons: No bathrobes, no slippers, no mini-bar and no room service. If you need some water you need to get downstairs to buy it.

Pros: Excellent hotel, stylish, comfortable, clean and really went the extra mile - they put a bunch of balloons in our room as this was a surprise trip for my partner’s birthday.

Pros: Staff were all very friendly and accommodating during check in and as the property didn't have any office facilities the lady at the desk printed out some documents for me. Nice quiet area, train station is a short walk away with easy access to centre. Nice shopping within a 10 minute walk. Restaurant Benedict was great for breakfast and the bakery was also very nice.

Cons: The shower was a bit of a nightmare for us, we are both tall and the shower head only came up to shoulder level so wasn't the best experience in the morning. There was also an issue with water coming out either side of the shower as it was so small and it led to me slipping on the tiles, the hotel sent some extra bath mats after I alerted them but no real concern was given to the fact I had slipped over. Basically if you are over 5'7 or are in any way unsteady on your legs... book a bigger room. Also the towels are tiny!! again if you are tall its a bit annoying

Pros: Location is great and design is nice. The bed very comfortable

Cons: No sound isolation at all, I heard every single sound in angry birds game, played in room next door. The flush in toilet from every room above, left and right. The shower in standard double room is very uncomfortable, my boyfriend who is 190cm, could never stand under the shower. No tissues in bathroom or living room, no water to purchase. And no opportunity to reserve a table downstairs for breakfast, only wait in a queue for an hour. 150 eur/night to expensive for this service, sorry

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Max Brown. The staff was so nice and welcoming! This is a hotel we will return to, lovely!

Pros: The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The pool, sauna, and steam room were a wonderful treat, especially for my child. Our apartment was perfect for our needs. The hotel is located near a subway stop, so getting around the city and back to the hotel was easy.

Cons: The Sunday breakfast was a little chaotic. The food on offer was delicious but the wait staff tried to provide everyone with beverages (instead of allowing beverages to be a self-serve part of the buffet). Given the full house, catching a busy waiter/waitress to ask for coffee, juice, etc., took a while. But the wait staff was friendly and responded as quickly as they could.

Pros: This was not my first stay at this hotel. Actually I've been here several times. Despite some critical points now clearly emerging (see the odd part of the comment below), I still retain this is a good hotel, in a strategic location (a very nice neighborhood), with very well designed rooms, multi-lingual staff, convenient parking and with an above-average general services for the price. Yet in the current conditions, it is in need of refurbishment, and I don't think it is worth the money they're asking.

Cons: With respect to my previous stays, I noticed a marked turn to the worst. - breakfast is good and rich, but the quality and choice have been reduced. The waiters on the second day of my stay ran into a complete debacle. I was completely ignored for more than 10 minutes, without any apparent reason. I had to go to the waiter desk to take my warm beverages myself, unlike all other guests at the tables around mine. After that, I was again completely ignored for the rest of my stay in the dining hall. - The in room tablet for service and guidance didn't work properly (it rebooted in loop). That item wasn't there last time, I think it's not useful and (when working) difficult to use. - The jack for linking the iPhone/iPad to the loudspeakers is gone! This was a fav of the in-room supply, please restore it! - Possibly the most evident problem, the gym/wellness is in URGENT NEED of refurbishment. A/C in the gym is broken, the fan is falling from the ceiling, the radio doesn't work, just like the tv on one of the treadmills. I ran in there, and I sweated like never before - really uncomfortable, especially in the morning sun. This wasn't the case during my previous stays. Many lights are missing in the shower and Turkish bath. The wooden panels all around are rotting. One of the treadmills features a very basic fix with common fixing tape. Prices have remained the same, so I had to lower my rating. Hope this won't go unnoticed, and actions will be taken to restore the hotel to its original splendor.

Pros: Everything was great. The room was clean and cozy and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast had a great variety to choose from and it was delicious. I also had dinner at their restaurant and it was very good. The staff was very friendly and professional.

Cons: I was disappointed with the design of the room. Too much form over functionality. Despite the entire wall looking like cupboards, I actually had to squeeze my luggage in with my hanging clothes. No area near the door for my shoes left me feeling that the design of this room was a failure.

Pros: The hotel was clean, with a nice atmosphere and offered amenities usually found in higher end hotels. Free coffees (cappuccino till 11am). The work out room was clean with well maintained up-to-date equipment. Great location--plenty of shopping a and restaurants near by. Also near all modes of transportation which made it easy to get around the city. An easy walk to the Tiergarten. I would certainly stay there again. The staff was helpful and friendly.
