Pros: My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and we had a wonderful time, we stayed in the executive suite which was large bright ,modern and clean all in all we enjoyed our stay at Lux 11 and would definately stay there again as the location was also good!

Cons: The elevator and the corridor leave an impression that you are entering an old building; not very fancy for a design hotel. The room was very cold when I arrived (the guests are supposed to turn the heating themselves?!). Also the view on the backyard is not very nice either.

Cons: Staff were not at all helpful when asked to assist with restaurant bookings/recommendations or usual requests that you might expect to be met e.g. a telephone call when the room is ready as it was delayed when we had arrived. Furthermore, we paid for a balcony room but did not get one. When we complained about this upon receiving the bill, we were told that some superior rooms had no balcony.

Cons: The hotel staff did not give good instructions for public transport. The tap in the sink is very low makes it very inconvenient to use. You may not want to share your room with a friend that you are not too familiar with because its a open shower and sink area which is right next to the bed.

Cons: When we booked we requested single beds as we were a party on mother daughter and two sons. When we arrived there we were in double beds which was disappointing. The beds were large and comfortable however so it was ok. The staff were really friendly. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. I expected a big variety it was at best a 4 star standard. That was the main reason I booked it so my sons could get a good start to the day. I would not go back there for that though. The hotel restaurant was very expensive and as we didn’t arrive til 9 pm we had to go out and look for a restaurant. There were very few restaurants in the area and all were closed so we had to eat in McDonald’s which was very disappointing. However in general the location was really good. Cons: For some reason, we were put in a room with two single beds? But honestly, we were so jet lagged it didn't really matter. The beds were VERY comfortable as well.

We liked breakfasts very much! They were really luxurious. Very various, rich and delicious. The room was OK-not big, not small, comfortable for a family with all necessary facilities.

Pros: We have now visited 5 cities in Germany. This is by far the best (up to North American standard) we have seen in Germany. The price happens also to be lowest. It even has a large bed, not normally seen in Germany. There is also a free computer access for internet (though only one). The location is quite good, within walking distance to the Museum Island and Unter den Linden Street.

Pros: We have now visited 5 cities in Germany. This is by far the best (up to North American standard) we have seen in Germany. The price happens also to be lowest. It even has a large bed, not normally seen in Germany. There is also a free computer access for internet (though only one). The location is quite good, within walking distance to the Museum Island and Unter den Linden Street.

Pros: Staff members greeted us warmly and the lobby looked very luxe, so it was a good first impression. We found the room and bathroom to be very clean and of a good size for two people - not spacious, but pretty similar to most American budget chain hotel room sizes. The bathroom had a large countertop area for toiletries, and it was great to have some chairs in the room, too, so we didn't have to sit on the bed all the time. Sure, the carpet looked worn, but nothing else looked shabby and it didn't affect our comfort level at all. We always hung the "do not disturb" sign on the door overnight and were never bothered by housekeeping. Plus, the location was perfect - a block in one direction to the metro, and a block in the other direction to the bus. It was extremely convenient to get around, and close to plenty of restaurants, shops and things to do and see. We got an excellent deal on .Price..line. and were very happy with our stay.

Pros: The location was great. We went to Berlin by Train and the hotel was very close. It was also near many of the main sites that we wanted to see and very close to the city tour bus. We walked to the Opera at night, to the Brandenburg Gate, to the river and Museum Island. The staff at the hotel was fantastic - very helpful and friendly. They all spoke English, which helped our stay. The spa/pool looked fantastic. We forgot our bathing suits, so couldn't swim, but it looked wonderful. We were too busy site-seeing, but would have loved to have gotten a massage and maicure. Facilities looked beautiful and staff was friendly and helpful. All the food we ate at the hotel was wonderful. Great stay. We would definately stay here again.

Cons: The water temperature in the shower fluctuated a bit during peak showering times. Also, the mattresses were harder than I'd like and thus not that comfortable for me, but that is subjective. Pillows were quite flat, but they happily sent us more when we asked.

Cons: Housekeeping woke us up every morning at 10 am. When I'm on vacation I don't want people coming into my room and waking me up. Any other hotel I've stayed in they don't start housekeeping until noon or so but I guess that's how it is here in Germany. The shower wasn't draining but they fixed that the last day we were there.

Cons: This hotel is hazardous to stay in! Tiny is an understatment. The room was so poorly designed that I left after two nights with numerous bruises. I know I paid for a standard room but I expected to be able to turn around in the shower without bruising myself and get in and out of bed without bruising myself and having to jump over things. Did I mention I am only 5ft 1 and 42kgs? There are separate doonas and the beds are small. The bed is surrounded by wooden edges which you are most like to bruise yourself on. There was also a hole in my sheets which made the flimsy foam mattress and cheap lumpy pillows even worse! Did I mention that the closet was smaller than a mini bar? Good luck fitting even 1 winter parka in there!

Bar service was spotty (I often had to try and find the bartender). Cleaning staff repeatedly knocked on door even though the Do Not Disturb sign was on door knob.

Cons: I was placed in a room with only men for the whole five days. One had a knife and one group had drugs, so I didn't feel safe being the only female. People were smoking in the corridors. The noise at night from other people on the same floor was terrible. People screaming and shouting all night, slamming doors and knocking on people's doors and then running away like five year olds.

Cons: - Storage lockers were broken, so I needed to lock up my suitcase at the trainstation. I found the last available locker. If I hadn't gotten that, I would have needed to wheel my bag around Berlin the entire day. I got in a few hours before my room was ready, so I didn't have another choice.
- The room was dirty, but that was probably more of a function of the 5 other people staying in the room. The nice thing was that none of the other 5 people slept in the room, but were out all night.
- Our room's bathroom was out of toilet paper. Why didn't the staff see that?

Pros: Large room with King Beds and large bath with shower and amenities. Located in safe area of town . We walked to most attractions. Subway was in front of hotel - very convenient. Wonderful breakfast feast was included in our pkg. good price!

Pros: It didn't take me long to figure out that customer service was not a main priority. I had to ask to have my air conditioner checked three times before they moved me to a different room. It was clearly an inconvenience 2 the customer service desk to do this. They also had me pack up all of my things and bring everything all the way down 28 floors before they would tell me where my new room would be. It would have taken a lot less time just to know and put my things on a cart and go directly to the room I was being transferred to. They did not say sorry for the inconvenience or anything. I even checked out a day early and they didn't even say anything about it. It was almost like, they looked at my situation as though it was my problem and why should they do anything for me?

Cons: Check-in was painful. Took almost an hour to check-in.
Room was very small which was ok but the bathroom/shower setup was not designed well. Running the shower resulted in water all over the bathroom floor since door not good and could not put bathmat down because of door clearance. The water temperature would fluctuate during a shower from scalding hot to cool.

Cons: The fact that the staff did not care. The hotel is completely surrounded buy a square that smells like garbage and urine. There were protesters and police officers everywhere. Until late at night I could hear chanting over and over about Middle East War.

Cons: Arrived early on our first night and even though we were staying 2 nights, charged 2 euros per bag until our room was ready. 8 euros total. Also the internet was not included in the price.

Cons: Room setup is kinda funky... The shower is open to the room with clear glass doors all around which would be a bit awkward depending who you're traveling with. There's a curtain to divide the room but it still weird... Cleaning is sub-par. Bleach stains on the floor never look good. Sink wasn't draining which was an easy fix for us but the faucet was hanging on like a loose tooth. Overall the room we had needs a good once-over. That was one of 1000+ rooms available so that might be different than many others.

Cons: Queues to check in. Very loud music outside hotel which started about 22.00 and was still going strong at 2.30, when I finally fell asleep. Coffee cold at breakfast, as they put it in pots which were then left on the table throughout breakfast service.

Also they charged guests to access their Panorama Terrace which is advertised as a positive point to the hotel, we found this a bit rude to say the least. Breakfast was expensive and there was no cheap option for my wife who doesn't eat much for breakfast
