Like temperature control, super comfortable beds (the most comfy beds I've ever had in a hotel). Breakfast was included...a stunning breakfast buffet including luxury features like Caviar...as well as champagne, Asian fried rice...a lovely buffet!!
Our stay at the Adlon was unforgettable and I'm already looking forward to returning there one day!

Pros: Hotel was located well. Within steps of Brandenburg Gate, the US Embassy, French Embassy and Metro station. Five minute walk to the Reichstag. Hotel has an old world charm and elegance. Rooms are spacious and beautiful with dark wood accents. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant, from the doorman to the concierge to the check-in receptionist.

Pros: Attention to detail. The daily brunch (included in my reservation) was spectacular - the food was not only plentiful but also delicious. On my birthday, I was served champagne with breakfast.
Staff. Each staff member was courteous, helpful and most importantly, dedicated to service. If they did not know the answer, they would find it for you.
Spa. After my conference I booked a day at the spa - the massage and facial therapists were professional, most capable, and pleasant to spend time with.
Food. The onsite restaurants had expectional cuisine and the service was equally matched.

Pros: By far my favorite hotel experience ever. It was very luxurious, beautifully appointed, and the service was superb! We were welcomed by a very pleasant and courteous bellman, and every ancounter with staff thereafter was remarkable for its pleasant, service oriented tone. They are in a very deluxe hotel and they treated us, ordinary guests, as if they were delighted to have us! And the breakfast buffet was out of this world!! A terrific experience from start to finish.

Cons: The Adlon hotel is a pricey hotel. Even the prices at the bar reflect that! Nevertheless an awesome place to stay if one likes luxury, cleanliness, and extreme friendly attentiveness from the staff!

Cons: Not much to dislike. This hotel is the go-to hotel for royalty (Queen of England) and the President of the US. It is priced accordingly, so be willing to splurge if you stay here.

Cons: I was a guest at the hotel for 5 days/4 nights. My mini-bar was not restocked for 2 days.
There were no washcloths (which Americans use); however I was able to obtain them from the spa.
Each day you had to create a new WiFi password.

Cons: I wish the lobby was non-smoking or you would put the smokers in their own section. I couldn't enjoy sitting in the lobby because of all the smoke and therefore missed out on spending time listening to the music and enjoying the lovely setting.

Pros: We had the 34m2 room . This hotel is fantastic. It has all arranged for you before you even think of them .Full furniture , kitchen , washer , dryer, classic hotel demands , stove , dishes, plates and everything you can imagine. Pool is excellent for you to have a nice swim . It has a security way to prevent others get in your floor by accident during the night by using your key card!!!! Excellent security , friendly people , nice restaurant , very good location , near Hauptbanhoff , and other metro stations . To be honest it is very good hotel and you should prefer it when visiting berlin.

Cons: When we booked we requested single beds as we were a party on mother daughter and two sons. When we arrived there we were in double beds which was disappointing. The beds were large and comfortable however so it was ok. The staff were really friendly. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. I expected a big variety it was at best a 4 star standard. That was the main reason I booked it so my sons could get a good start to the day. I would not go back there for that though. The hotel restaurant was very expensive and as we didn’t arrive til 9 pm we had to go out and look for a restaurant. There were very few restaurants in the area and all were closed so we had to eat in McDonald’s which was very disappointing. However in general the location was really good. - The area is under lots of construction. My room was on the 1st floor and there are new residences next door. As of April 2017 the construction has just completed the foundation so it will likely be going on for a while. I was only staying for 2 days, otherwise I would have asked for a room on the other side, away from construction. The construction started a 730.

- there was no conditioner or lotion
- The breakfast was €17. There were tons of coffee houses and cafes nearby so it wasn't an issue.

Cons: There were quite a number of maintenance issues with our room which were attended to quickly however the many intrusions impacted on our stay overall and we were astonished that the front desk thought nothing of it and appeared unconcerned from a good customer service perspective.

We found the room and bathroom to be very clean and of a good size for two people - not spacious, but pretty similar to most American budget chain hotel room sizes. The bathroom had a large countertop area for toiletries, and it was great to have some chairs in the room, too, so we didn't have to sit on the bed all the time. Sure, the carpet looked worn, but nothing else looked shabby and it didn't affect our comfort level at all. We always hung the "do not disturb" sign on the door overnight and were never bothered by housekeeping. Plus, the location was perfect - a block in one direction to the metro, and a block in the other direction to the bus. It was extremely convenient to get around, and close to plenty of restaurants, shops and things to do and see. We got an excellent deal on .Price..line. and were very happy with our stay.

Pros: The location was great. We went to Berlin by Train and the hotel was very close. It was also near many of the main sites that we wanted to see and very close to the city tour bus. We walked to the Opera at night, to the Brandenburg Gate, to the river and Museum Island. The staff at the hotel was fantastic - very helpful and friendly. They all spoke English, which helped our stay. The spa/pool looked fantastic. We forgot our bathing suits, so couldn't swim, but it looked wonderful. We were too busy site-seeing, but would have loved to have gotten a massage and maicure. Facilities looked beautiful and staff was friendly and helpful. All the food we ate at the hotel was wonderful. Great stay. We would definately stay here again.

Cons: Cleaning staff left a window open. Upon arrival, my wife & I both got bit by mosquitos in the room. After closing the window & killing the three mosquitos, everything was fine.

Cons: The hotel room smelled like smoke despite the staff leaving the window open. The room was tiny and the bed was practically a pull out. I use Kayak to book hotels and was disappointed by this choice especially considering the extremely high price I pay of over 350 dollars for a small twin bed.

Cons: The Hotel is really old and you see it in any corner! The carpets are from the 70´s the curtains were so dirty and even damaged! It was difficult to close the curtains to get darkness in the room to sleep. Even the uniforms of the staff were obviously used and old like the carpets! Not a good feeling to stay in that house.

Pros: Staff members greeted us warmly and the lobby looked very luxe, so it was a good first impression. We found the room and bathroom to be very clean and of a good size for two people - not spacious, but pretty similar to most American budget chain hotel room sizes. The bathroom had a large countertop area for toiletries, and it was great to have some chairs in the room, too, so we didn't have to sit on the bed all the time. Sure, the carpet looked worn, but nothing else looked shabby and it didn't affect our comfort level at all. We always hung the "do not disturb" sign on the door overnight and were never bothered by housekeeping. Plus, the location was perfect - a block in one direction to the metro, and a block in the other direction to the bus. It was extremely convenient to get around, and close to plenty of restaurants, shops and things to do and see. We got an excellent deal on .Price..line. and were very happy with our stay.
Cons: The water temperature in the shower fluctuated a bit during peak showering times. Also, the mattresses were harder than I'd like and thus not that comfortable for me, but that is subjective. Pillows were quite flat, but they happily sent us more when we asked.

Pros: I liked the pool and that they had bikes for rent. It was close to a lot of things which was very nice.
Cons: Housekeeping woke us up every morning at 10 am. When I'm on vacation I don't want people coming into my room and waking me up. Any other hotel I've stayed in they don't start housekeeping until noon or so but I guess that's how it is here in Germany. The shower wasn't draining but they fixed that the last day we were there.

Pros: We were given a suite which we hadn't booked but was perfect for a family with a sofa bed for our 2 year old and a cot for our baby. lots of space and comfort as a result.
Cons: one of the reasons we chose the hotel was for the swimming pool which we thought would be nice with children. Unfortunately it was freezing cold, too cold for the baby and our 2 year old was shivering for an hour after using it!

Cons: I think it's an expensive hotel and it needs refurbishment. It doesn't look like a 4*hotel (e.g. no shoe polisher, no tea/coffee in the room, the room smelled as if somebody had just smoked before I arrived, thou I had specifically asked for a no smoking room etc.)

Pros: Stayed here during Berlin Marathon weekend. Chosen it because of location (500m from the start/finish). Very nice and convenient place. Overpriced, though.
Cons: After booking I emailed hotel and asked whether the late check-out option is available. Was told that at some additional fee like 30-40 euros it is. However on Marathon weekend they cancelled that feature, which I knew only after arriving. Had to check out early - put some disorder in my plans.
