Pros: Kayak provided me with an amazing deal to stay at the Adlon Hotel! The room was spectacular: clean with awesome features Like temperature control, super comfortable beds (the most comfy beds I've ever had in a hotel). Breakfast was included...a stunning breakfast buffet including luxury features like Caviar...as well as champagne, Asian fried rice...a lovely buffet!! Our stay at the Adlon was unforgettable and I'm already looking forward to returning there one day!
Cons: The Adlon hotel is a pricey hotel. Even the prices at the bar reflect that! Nevertheless an awesome place to stay if one likes luxury, cleanliness, and extreme friendly attentiveness from the staff!

Pros: By far my favorite hotel experience ever. It was very luxurious, beautifully appointed, and the service was superb! We were welcomed by a very pleasant and courteous bellman, and every ancounter with staff thereafter was remarkable for its pleasant, service oriented tone. They are in a very deluxe hotel and they treated us, ordinary guests, as if they were delighted to have us! And the breakfast buffet was out of this world!! A terrific experience from start to finish.
Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was that I couldn’t stay forever. I am sad to say goodbye to the Adlon Kempinski.

Pros: Hotel was located well. Within steps of Brandenburg Gate, the US Embassy, French Embassy and Metro station. Five minute walk to the Reichstag. Hotel has an old world charm and elegance. Rooms are spacious and beautiful with dark wood accents. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant, from the doorman to the concierge to the check-in receptionist.
Cons: Not much to dislike. This hotel is the go-to hotel for royalty (Queen of England) and the President of the US. It is priced accordingly, so be willing to splurge if you stay here.

Pros: Attention to detail. The daily brunch (included in my reservation) was spectacular - the food was not only plentiful but also delicious. On my birthday, I was served champagne with breakfast. Staff. Each staff member was courteous, helpful and most importantly, dedicated to service. If they did not know the answer, they would find it for you. Spa. After my conference I booked a day at the spa - the massage and facial therapists were professional, most capable, and pleasant to spend time with. Food. The onsite restaurants had expectional cuisine and the service was equally matched.
Cons: I was a guest at the hotel for 5 days/4 nights. My mini-bar was not restocked for 2 days. There were no washcloths (which Americans use); however I was able to obtain them from the spa. Each day you had to create a new WiFi password.

Pros: Very attentive and helpful staff in a beautiful facility. Chocolate Day special event was wonderful. The room was very nice but not warm enough. Hot chestnuts as pocket warmers are a nice touch.
Cons: The heating system was not adequate for the cold weather and we had one whole day with no hot water. Breakfast is pricey.

Pros: Location at Pottsdamer Platz is excellent; next to the former wall, and well located for easy access to most points in the city. Checking in on Sunday morning after a flight from the US, tends to be iffy, however, the Ritz had a room waiting for me, and were expecting me. The hotel interior is beautiful. Rooms are well appointed, large, especially for European standards, and very quiet. The bar and restaurant was excellent. Only quibble I had was with the gym: small, smelled, and illequiped.

Cons: Breakfast, while good, is overpriced. They should just make all rooms €15 per person per night more expensive, make breakfast inclusive, and charge the outlandish rate for non-guests. Oh, and put back roast potatoes into the breakfast menu! For those of us with cholesterol issues, all the eggs, cheese and sausages are useless, and make breakfast devoid of anything hot other than tea or coffee.

Pros: From the moment I arrived I was greeted warmly and treated like a valued guest. The service in all areas of the hotel was the best I have experienced at any hotel. The rooms are beautifully updated with very well appointed bathrooms. Entertained clients on three occasions at the Curtain Club. Could not have asked for better service. Nicholas in the Curtain Club should be commended for a job well done. This will certainly be my go to hotel in Berlin for future stays.

Pros: Chose Hotel Zoo for a business conference, with attendees arriving from different parts of the world. The hotel experience exceeded our expectations...beautifully appointed, public spaces with large comfortable guest rooms and outstanding meeting facilities. The staff were friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. The restaurant and bar areas were fun spots to unwind at the end of each day.
Cons: While hotel premises were designated as non-smoking, the external courtyard smoking area was adjacent to some guest rooms with lingering aftereffects from smokers.

Pros: Gendarmenmarkt has some good restaurants varying in price and the hotel is excellent for many of attractions. Easy access to places with the U-bahn stations only a 5 minute stroll from the hotel, in either direction.
Cons: Very busy round about with tourists - like myself! Quite a bit of construction work locally but very little or no noise problem, as we were out most of the day anyway.

Pros: Pro: -This hotel is very close to the U6 stop which makes it easy to get to from TXL - It is like a block away from Checkpoint Charlie, several blocks from Topography of Terror. -There are several shops just across the street that have local artist/made souvenirs. -It is convienient to many places. I walked everywhere from this hotel. -The room is fairly large for an European hotel and is updated and very clean -nice walk in shower - the room included a double bed -i didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked nice. - Free apples everyday - The staff was incredibly friendly. I was give a map and points of interest were marked for me at check in - free WiFi - there was a towel heater in the bathroom
Cons: Cons: - The area is under lots of construction. My room was on the 1st floor and there are new residences next door. As of April 2017 the construction has just completed the foundation so it will likely be going on for a while. I was only staying for 2 days, otherwise I would have asked for a room on the other side, away from construction. The construction started a 730. -there were no wash cloths - there was no conditioner or lotion - The breakfast was €17. There were tons of coffee houses and cafes nearby so it wasn't an issue.

Cons: Only complaints are that I was put in a wheelchair room without a traditional shower (more of an open bathroom with red emergency pulls). Furthermore, I ordered in-room breakfast and placed the slip on my door some 6 hours before the deadline. In the morning, the slip was still there - nobody had come by and even picked it up. Had to leave for the airport on an empty stomach as a result.

Pros: Great design and features. The included breakfast buffet had soooo many options. The hotel is and feels new and the location is great for getting around Berlin - just a short walk to U2 station or a slightly longer short walk to the large station at Potsdamer Platz

Pros: The location was amazing! We didn't even realize there was a Ubahn station at the edge of the hotel with cars going through the center of the hotel until our second day there. Brandenburg Tor was only a short walk away. the staff was friendly.
Cons: I heard the breakfast was expensive, so we walked to the nearby cafes instead. They claimed you could control the temperature from the TV, but we couldn't cool the room down any.

Pros: Staff members greeted us warmly and the lobby looked very luxe, so it was a good first impression. We found the room and bathroom to be very clean and of a good size for two people - not spacious, but pretty similar to most American budget chain hotel room sizes. The bathroom had a large countertop area for toiletries, and it was great to have some chairs in the room, too, so we didn't have to sit on the bed all the time. Sure, the carpet looked worn, but nothing else looked shabby and it didn't affect our comfort level at all. We always hung the "do not disturb" sign on the door overnight and were never bothered by housekeeping. Plus, the location was perfect - a block in one direction to the metro, and a block in the other direction to the bus. It was extremely convenient to get around, and close to plenty of restaurants, shops and things to do and see. We got an excellent deal on .Price..line. and were very happy with our stay.
Cons: The water temperature in the shower fluctuated a bit during peak showering times. Also, the mattresses were harder than I'd like and thus not that comfortable for me, but that is subjective. Pillows were quite flat, but they happily sent us more when we asked.

Any other hotel I've stayed in they don't start housekeeping until noon or so but I guess that's how it is here in Germany. The shower wasn't draining but they fixed that the last day we were there.

Cons: The Hotel is really old and you see it in any corner! The carpets are from the 70´s the curtains were so dirty and even damaged! It was difficult to close the curtains to get darkness in the room to sleep. Even the uniforms of the staff were obviously used and old like the carpets! Not a good feeling to stay in that house.

Cons: The hotel charges 25 euro for in room internet access, and for the cost of the in-hotel laundry service, you can purchase a new wardrobe.

Pros: Organised, cleanness, quite atmosphere, the amazing & comfortable location & the staff kindness).
Cons: I didn't like that the internet is costly chargeable (This old system doesn't exist anywhere in the civil world anymore). The welcoming is not special (No welcoming water, fruits.....).

Cons: They wanted a print out of my receipt for the hotel booking as I booked through kayak. I didn't have a print out so caused a minor issue at checkin

Pros: We had a great time at this hotel. The location is perfect and you can walk to a lot of different sites and the public transportation is really close, literally out the front door to get to one of the lines. The room was really quiet also. The bar was by far the best experience. We closed the Listo bar several nights during our stay and had a great time with the bartenders Jannick and Ole and the other bar staff as well.

Pros: Clean , reception decoration , nice staff , so many TV channels , real good curtains reflecting the sun very good.
Cons: No water to drink in the room Separated beds for a couples Expensive breakfast No one answering the phone in the reception for many times The rooms are so small WiFi isn't free In they end , it's very normal 4 stars hotel nothing to impress.
