A Wonderful atmosphere with a very friendly service I would definitely recommend a stay at Max Brown. The room was quite special with a balcony, lots of space and great attention to detail so original in its design.
Unfortunately all the museums and theatres closed on the day we arrived in Berlin because of the Coronavirus.
i stayed on my own. the bar is v friendly and full of young people enjoying themselves. i rested in my room. had early breakfast. lots of choice. excellent. bed was majorly comfortable. room small but fine. bathroom fine. bed was the best bit. staff also v personable. would return. bought fun socks as an easy present for my family as i was on a business trip
small room. check in desk looks like a school. some might like this but for me it looked a bit cheap
The bed was really comfortable and the decor and space had been really well considered
Walls are very thin so the room was noisy particually at night
The bed was very comfortable. Staff and restaurant was great!
The walls were very thin so I was woken up each morning by talking in the room next door and in the corridor which is a shame when on holiday and needing a rest. Access to the mirrors was restrictive. Ie. Deep sink or low hanging pendant light in front of them which made it very uncomfortable when brushing teeth, applying make up etc.
The room was very cute and cozy. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. Complimentary tea was provided.
I requested an early check in but my room was not ready by the time I arrived, so I had to pay extra for an upgraded availability. I didn’t sleep for the entire night because of the long flight and was hoping to get some rest. However, my room was facing the inner yard and was right over the service entrance where something was constantly moved, repaired and drilled creating unbelievably annoying and loud noise. Additionally, the room’s doors are very poor. Besides the fact that my room was along the corridor, I still could hear any single thing happening in the corridor: conversations, steps, door slamming, and elevator.
For those of you wanting to stay in an area of Berlin that’s a little more charming and laidback but close to all of the city’s sights, look no further than Max Brown Ku’damm. The hotel is on the border between the Wilmersdorf District and Charlottenburg, a relaxed, residential neighbourhood that’s hard not to get caught up in. Walking in the hotel’s front doors, you’re greeted by the scent of fresh bread from Benedict, our in-house bakery and breakfast restaurant open 24 hours a day.
