Pros: We had high hopes it would be as good as the Four Seasons; not quite there. However, quality was high and consistent and the executive lounge was great. Pros: The executive lounge was a nice bonus provided when our 1st room was found to be unsatisfactory on many levels. I would advise the same care provided to floors 1 - 15 that are provided to the higher floors.
Cons: Our 1st room was not properly cleaned. The remote had chunky gunk all over it. I had to call for a new one it took 20 minutes to receive it. The room would not heat. We had it on 80 for 2 hours and were still in jackets and blankets from home. It was unacceptable. We requested a room switch.

Pros: Check-in, location, clean facilities, polite staff and dining options.
Cons: Rooms fairly basic for a JW branded hotel and pricey but believe that is probably true for all hotels on Grand Prix weekend.

6.3 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Pool was terrible old and small and kids spashing and yelling and not enough lounges. Kids were running around down the hallway yelling and screaming all times of the day and night. At the resaraunt they let a lady’s dog sit on the table and eat some of her food next to us. We thought for extremely high price to stay here it would have been a lot more classy and upscale. We’ve been to nicer hotels for a fraction of the cost.

Pros: Great location, great views from the 29th floor.

Cons: Air conditioning unit inside room was whistling all night, I guess that a bit of adjustments can be made to have it operate quietly.

Pros: Locations is really nice.
Cons: Pricey for what you get.
6.0 Good
Pros: Restaurant, bar, & coffee areas were good!
Cons: The rooms are super small, weird lighting arrangement, and noisy also because the unit doors are very heavy metal and slam hard when open & closed in which the sound carries through the hallways.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Our room, the highest priced Aloft we have stayed in, was also the smallest we have stayed in. Restaurants were crowded, noisy, food was ok and staff friendly.
Cons: Size of the room (too small for 2 average people!), price was way too high for quality of the property (almost $400 per night). We have stayed at several ALofts across the country and expected some consistency in product, but will be cautious in future.

Pros: Location location location! It was perfect to our visit to Austin. Walking distance from everything, which was the original reason we booked and it was perfect. Staff were amazing! Super friendly and helpful.
Cons: Overnight parking fee, yes all of them have them however $50 a night to park at the hotel as a guest already paying premium rate is a bit ridiculous. Doors to the rooms slam shut on their own. So when guest are coming and going at any time of the night there is a chance you will be woken up if you’re a light sleeper.

Pros: Clean, spacious rooms, convenient, good breakfast, location is good
Cons: I wish communication between different Hyatt departments were better, I made a reservation through booking.com for 4 nights initially, I had to change my flight so I would stay 3 nights instead, since I chose non refundable booking, i called Hyatt immediately and asked to keep my original reservation but I would arrive a day later ( I took responsibility for the extra night) I called again few days after and spoke to the reservation department they ensured me that they added notes to my reservation. When I arrived to Austin airport I called the hotel again and they had no idea about the issue, they said they fixed it. When I checked out they initially charged for two reservations 4 and 3 nights!! I was furious they would double charge me. I spoke to the receptionist and he was helpful and fixed it.

Cons: We were guaranteed early check-in after calling the hotel for 3 consecutive days prior to our arrival. After calling, and arriving that day, we were not accommodated for early check-in. Additionally, our room was cleaned once over a 3 day period.

Cons: The price of the valet parking is to much. I'm guessing because they allow unlimited in and out access as well as the safety of your car would be why the price is what it is. I still personally feel it is to much. But my car was safe my entire stay.

Pros:
Cons: Third or fourth time I have stayed there. Frustrated and disappointed with tv system every time. Terrible cable
6.7 Good
Pros: It’s location was good. The shuttle service was good.
Cons: It was advertised as a boutique hotel, but I did not feel it was a boutique hotel. It was attached to a Holiday Inn. It costs $40+ per day to park a car. I was told wine was a part of happy hour...$5 per glass. Asked if they had a red blend wine. Was told yes. Had a glass and later found out on bill that it was $14 per glass. Bartender did not tell me my request was not part of happy hour option.
7.9 Good
Pros: The actual room. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Cons: The overall cost was prohibitive, and in particular the valet parking, there was really no choice but to use that option because it was not possible to park elsewhere. The restaurant and bar lacked customers and hence ambience and became a self fulfilling prophecy!!!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel. They had a bar that also served coffee which was nice. The pool was great too.
Cons: The hotel was located downtown but was surrounded by homeless that were literally peeing on the street so it smelt terrible. We were asking for money more times than we could count. Also be prepared to pay $40 for valet parking or $20 to self park.

Pros: Staff were great and very accommodating. Workout facility is surprisingly nice. Room service, relatively close to 6th street. Good hotel for young /single professionals, couples, hipsters and party animals.
Cons: If on the north side of the building there is a venue that plays live music across the street. i stayed two nights, Wednesday there was no music, Thursday was terribly loud. Many bums around the area, some aggressive. Do not bring your kids to the area.

Cons: We came here with our 6 year old kid and requested a king size bed with an additional roll away. When we arrived we were promised the bed. At bed time it still wasn’t there. The staff at the front desk didn’t think that was a big deal. They didn’t offer us any alternative rooms until we showed them that booking.com still had bigger rooms available.
