Cons: "Flight was delayed and the informati N at the gate kept changing. Regular announcements that we would board in 10 Minutes. And hen we didn’t and then another announcement of 10 minutes etc Process was confusing. Four different lines with signage that was too low to be seen by anyone except those who were up front. Employees were flustered and having arguments on phone in presence of those boarding. Led to more chaos and uneasiness"

Pros: "The entire crew was excellent in all areas and all the time even on a 14 hour flight that had been delayed for about 20 hours."
Cons: "When we arrived in Auckland very late, Air New Zealand out me up in a third rate hotel in a very bad part of the city with little to no communication on how to get back to the airport the next day. The customer service number I was given, was mo help at all. Flights were great, but the way they handled the unexpected was very poorly done."

Cons: "There are no personal air vents. I was sweating for 3/4 of the flight and had to ask for the air to be turned down 3 times. The air vents they do have point inwards and do not get the window seats at all. Hope the return flight is better"

Cons: "Unlike other international flights, Air New Zealand only allows 1 check in luggage per person instead of 2. Most other international airlines allow 2 check in luggage. But otherwise it was good and the service was ok, not as much food selection as other airlines but the crew are very nice and the airline is very clean."

Pros: "The people and the service were top notch. I fly on numerous carriers and overall AirNZ has been my favorite, hands down, primarily because of the helpful kind friendly staff."
Cons: "Disembarking down onto the tarmac, and being made to stand out there for about 5 minutes (supposedly for safety's sake) while another plane was being pushed out from the next gate, all the while breathing in the choking nauseating jet exhaust fumes while our own plane was idling."

Pros: "The crew was super nice and so accommodating. They were all quickly available during the entire 14 hour flight, and always had a smile. I thought the food was nice as well, and there were so many entertainment options."

Pros: "As has been my prior experience with Air New Zealand, I found the trip to be virtually flawless. The boarding process was smooth and efficient, the crew was great and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job, the food was good, and I had lots of choices on the IFE system. For flying cattle class on a 15 hour flight, I arrived reasonably rested and content."
Cons: "My only complaint is that the extra $60 I had to pay in order to get a window seat got me just that. There was no additional room either length- or width-wise and no other advantages other than the window. I would not pay for that "privilege" again and I'm sorry to see that ANZ has stooped to the level of its American counterparts."

I needed to use noise-cancelling headphones just to hear myself think. - sat on the tarmac in SFO for 1/2 hour before takeoff"

I really wish the other three crews could have kept this momentum going as my other flights with ANZ were less than thrilling! The flight attendant staff was phenomenal on my iah to akl leg. My crew on the akl to iah leg. Brandon gave the initial intro and seemed to follow the original crews standards. Unfortunately, we had an older flight attendant who seemed less than thrilled to be with us this flight."

Water was brought around at regular intervals through out the entire flight. Something one appreciates when travelling with an Airline that does not offer this level of service Keep it up Air NZ"
Cons: "Economy seating is to tight and restrictive for a flight of 14-15 hours. If Airlines are going to offer this length and longer flight times they need to look at the spacing of there seating!!"

Pros: "The crew was super friendly and accommodating. They found solutions for any questions or difficulties we had. They checked any excess luggage before you boarded. Boarding the plane was done back to front which was nice in loading bags and passenger without waiting for people in front of the plane. Meal service was promptly served so complimentary alcohol. Both meals were appreciated on such a long flight."
Cons: "Only suggestion would be bottles of water that you can keep refilling."
