Pros: "I will only use Singapore Air for anywhere they fly. They really care about their passangers, 2 checked bags 1 carryon no charge, no airline does that. They constantly feed u & alcoholic beverages all at no extra charge. Flight attendants always have a smile on their flight. In flight entertainment was great, touch screen and remote controller. They supply earbuds, socks, toothbrush and paste."

Cons: "Waiting on line to check in was more than a half hour although there were probably only 10 people ahead of me. Got a hard time on the weight of my carry-on being more than 7kg although I had to point out that my ticket allowed me two bags that were 23kg each - I had nothing to check. Eventually, when I pointed out that I could wear enough of the clothes from the carry on, they agreed to let me take it on. On board, the service was cold, bland and infrequent. The entertainment system lost sound perhaps 20 minutes into the flight."

Pros: "My wife and I flew from Los Angeles to Seoul. The entire experience was incredible. From check in to disembarking, we were well taken care of. Gracious service and complimentary drinks throughout the flight with a full spectrum entertainment system!"

I really liked the staffs, and the foods. Our plane got delayed for two hours so that was a down side.
Just a hiccup being added to the NZ Traveller Declaration a bit late.
Pros: "very comfortable reclining seats for sleeping. It was a lot of work for the attendants setting up each bed and then taking it apart. But for me, it was much more comfortable than the flight from SFO to ACK."

Cons: "Due to limited internet in Rarotonga, we weren’t able to fully check in until we got to the counter. The flight in came with two checked bags and not our flight to Auckland. We were expected to pay a fee at the counter but was charged $170 for the counter checkin of one bag. This price was not listed or posted anywhere during the booking or via email for mobile check-in."

Only regretted that we weren’t aware (perhaps we missed announcement) that my husband who is still recovering from knee surgery was not aware we could have boarded from the forward entrance and avoid the descent and ascent via rear entry."

Cons: "We booked our tickets and chose our seats and nowhere did it warn or tell us that we were located in a ‘safety row’ where the arm rest would not fold up. So we could not stretch out during our 12 hr flight. This was the most uncomfortable experience I have ever had on the multiple trips I have done between USA and Australia or New Zealand. The seat ordering from the kitchen was rarely available, even after the flight attendants had finished food service and pick up. The flight attendants weren’t very friendly."
Pros: "The boarding process was nice because Star Alliance gold members can board early and get miles for the flights. They also had lots of movie options. Decent flight."
Cons: "I bought my ticket on kayak because on the search filter, it said 1 carry-on bag and 1 check-in bag but after the e-ticket was issued it said that it was a no luggage and no meal ticket. I had to pay excess in baggage fees ($100 AUD for 1 check in bag) and during the flight, all you get is coffee, tea or water. You have to pay for meals or soft drinks. I think if I bought on air New Zealand website, I would’ve gotten a better idea of all the fare types and pay a little bit more to get the proper amenities."

Cons: "Not enough good new release movie selection was very average/ poor. Your boarding from LAX could be improved. You have two signs about Premium and economy lines for boarding! These are not obvious . There needs to be a staff member or two checking people as they arrive in a line to check they're in the correct t line . Otherwise people don't trailer until they have been in the wrong line until the reach the top of the line . Leads to frustration even before the flight begins! Otherwise great job everyone ! Cons: "I payed $50.00 USD on a seat so I would have a bigger seat. However, when I got into the plane, the lady that was going to be seating next to me asked me if I could change my seat with her husband; which was a regular seat. In order to avoid an awkward 12 hour flight, I agreed to change my bigger seat for a smaller seat. I felt disappointment that Air New Zealand separates parties and leaves room for uncomfortable situations. I really did not know what to do in this scenario, I paid for that seat but was in a way forced to give it a away without any refund in order to avoid 12 hours seating with some stranger's wife."

Cons: "Staff is not necessarily as attentive to individual needs as they could be. Many oversights in service. Also, the sound on my video speakers was distorted (loud screeching) that ruled out any chance to watch any movies on this long flight."
Cons: "Can't check in online with a VA per locator. You need an ANZ ONE. You have to call VA and forcefully ask for it. VA totally unhelpful. And when you get the ANZ number, they charge you to book a seat. Any seat."
Pros: "Flew from LAX to NZ and then to Tonga. Both flights were amazing with the best cabin crews. I would highly recommend Air NZ."
Pros: "I have not flown international in a long time. It was confortable and entertainment was great. The only thing I did not like is that with New Zealand air one can only check in 1 bag for free. We stayed in NZ for 18 days. The other airlines let you check in 2 bags. For an international flight 2 bags is only fair. Thanks."

Cons: "The pillow I was given smelled terrible, it seems they may change only the pillow case, but re-use pillows. They really should provide fresh pillows."
Cons: "Would have been more exciting to land early if our gate was ready. Better to wait on the ground than their air I guess but after 11 hours on a plane the last thing you want to do is wait longer. Realize that's on the airport and not the airline, although there should be communication there."
