The crews are not friendly and not attentive. I was waiting for toilet for a sometime and the crews were distributing food. They passed me as I waited for the toilet and asked me if I want a pizza and a drink of my choice. I said yes, pizza and a water please and I am seated at Seat 17G. The crew noted and said will give me a pizza later at the seat but at the same time she passed me a glass of water as I still waited outside for toilet. My seats are not near to toilet and the air stewardess expected me to hold the glass of water while waiting for my turn outside of toilet clearly demonstrates a lack of common sense. I also indicated that I wanted the drink to be at the seat but she hurried away with the tray. My flight at Emirates was booked by KLM due to flight delay from Zurich to Amsterdam. In my original flight with KLM, I had clearly indicated and chosen vegetarian diet but such option was absent in the Emirates flight. There was a crying baby throughout the entire flight seated at the row of 17 at flight from Dubai to KL. The cabin crews did not do anything or try to control the situation with the crying baby which was already bad with parents who did not control the baby. We heard so many good reviews about Emirates and was excited to experience Emirates for the first time but it turned out to be a bad experience.

Customer service

Great

Pros: "I was upgraded to business class"
Pros: "Food and crew was good"
Cons: "An adults only section would be great as there were a lot of screaming children on board, also seats were a bit on the small side"
Pros: "Food is amazing, planes are good."
Cons: "The boarding crew at the gate did not say anything while weighing the carry on bag. I was ask to go to another person who issued me check in baggage sticker and told me to hand over your baggage to a person inside. At last he mentioned to not put any valuables in that bag. My carry on bag was just 1lb extra and the first person could have told me right away and I would have thrown away chocolates and brought down the weight to permissible limit. In general passenger do carry valuable stuff in carry on bag. I had to follow whatever I was told."
Pros: "Everything went very well. The staff were the nicest most helpful people ever. Great food too."
Pros: "Crew was good"
Cons: "food"
Pros: "Excellent crew. Got on just in time. Last one on the flight but they were very understanding. Loved the airbus A380."
Cons: "It was great but food could have been better. Process to get onto the flight at DXB was much longer and complicated than it needed to be. Huge airport and big distance between connecting flights."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "— Better Seat assignments , —Boarding pass issuer must know well —how to take care — seat & boarding assignments , —Food with some standards (at least to match with other airlines , at least 3 choices) — On time food serve — Crew must care the requests/needs (at least to respond timely"
Pros: "Overall good experience."
Cons: "If could have got seats of our choice."
Cons: "Crew can be more friendly"
Pros: "Timing of flight"
Cons: "Baggage policy has changed and has become too restrictive. Wieight and size and number of checked baggage is below competitors for transatlantic flights. Same for cabin luggage and is enforced randomly. Some economy passers were allowed two pieces, others were forced to check in cabiuggahe at $200."
Pros: "Crew was average food was below average service was below par. Emirates is slipping. Boarding and deboarding was the worst."
Cons: "Lots to be improved. Crew food boarding on board service."
Pros: "Yes"
Cons: "No"
Pros: "For an economy seat, was very comfortable!! Love the food."
Pros: "Overall a decent flight."
Cons: "Didn’t like the boarding experience. You have somebody look at the boarding pass but then they sent us to a waiting area. The waiting/boarding area didn’t have space to make nice lines fir boarding so it was pretty haphazardly organized. You really can do better."
Pros: "For other people it seemed to work."
Pros: "Cleaningness"
Cons: "Main problems at Dubai airport. Employee at the airport charged me money for the same luggage that Newark employees said it is according to air line rules. That shocked me. I didn’t buy anything from Dubai. I think it’s not right."
Cons: "Co passenger is rude or showed attitude"
Pros: "nothing out of ordinary"
Cons: "The aircraft has no or little serviceable inflight entertainment. The food offered on board is really bad. Any additional water has to be paid for"
Pros: "Good flight on A380. Food and entertainment were great."
Cons: "We had to disembark into buses because all gates were being used."
Cons: "Good"
Pros: "Excellent service and smooth take off!"
Pros: "Most of the staff were supportive and caring and made me feel like nothing was too much to ask."
Cons: "I didn't realise my kid wouldn't get her own meal and I ran out of food if prepared by the last flight as we were travelling 38 hours in total. Snacks were available on request but it was just crisps so I gave her most of my meals."
Cons: "Both the flights were delayed. No accommodation was offered. With two little kids we planned and even payed more to travel with this airline. Overall, experience was big disappointment. Our expectations were much higher than what we experienced."
Pros: "Food, entertainment and timely flights"
Cons: "Very poor planning/organizing , as we starved after boarding the a plane because of the bad time management of the food service We also boarded very late in Abu Dhabi"
Pros: "I loved everything from the food, the crew, the in flight entertainment."
Cons: "I think this is hard to fix which is the comfort level. I was not avale to sleep well as the seats were a bit stiff. But it still one of the better seats I have been on for a long flight."
Cons: "I have no space for my legs ..i have 1.97 cm ..other things are excellent"
Pros: "Entertainment offer was great. Live channels, talks, movies, etc..."
Cons: "The service... it was almost a 7 hours flight, the crew brings you your food and that's it. I needed to ask more than three times to get water, again and again, I can't understand this behaviour at all. They treat you extremely bad unless you fly business with them. I felt uncomfortable and didn't like this behaviour at all."
Pros: "The inflight crew was helpful, kind and efficient"
Cons: "Seat head cushion is not comfortable for short prople"
Cons: "The bus ride took over 10 mins. Why are flights to South Asia and other developing countries not given boarding via the bridge? Horribly long bus ride at DXB for flight to DEL."
Cons: "Food was goof"
Pros: "Food and entertainment and punctuality"
Cons: "Quite a long wait to disembark"
Pros: "Entertainment is good"

Cons: "nothing to unlike"
Pros: "Flight was good for a shorter range"
Pros: "Good"
Cons: "Need nice tea"
Pros: "Cleanliness, customer service, rapidness"
Cons: "Entertainment was a little outdated"
Pros: "Good staff"
Cons: "Ok"
Pros: "Friendly staff, great movies"
Cons: "Nothing!"
Pros: "The seats."
Cons: "Firstly, the attitude of the staff was beyond comprehension. From the get go, they all looked as if they were working at gunpoint. Secondly, the food was inedible. Over salty, bland, and above all, they ran out of food. On an aircraft the size of an A380, one would like to assume that there will be enough food for people who are stuck and afraid of asking for anything from the moody staff. I have been travelling with Emirates for years now and insisted on flying it this time around upon much disapproval from my peers and family. My experience proved them right. I am still in complete shock and dismay. On a 12+ hour journey if I have to witness the staff rolling their eyes and where the passengers have to think twice before asking to be served, I think that's not right. Shame on you Emirates."
Pros: "travel was pleasant"
Cons: "food was as good as it usually is."
Cons: "1. I had put in a request for vegetarian meals, but my request was ignored. At meal time, I was given a choice between chicken and lamb. I again asked for vegetarian, and was told they didn't have any. The white guy in the next row asked for the same, and it magically appeared. The attendant noticed my shocked stare and then gave me a veggie meal too. 2. On a 16 hour flight, our tv screens didn't work. None of the attendants even came by to check, even after repeatedl requests. 3. My 6 and 9 year old kids would like to know why they didn't get any of the courtesy toys/coloring books that were given to other similar age kids. I don't want to tell them it was due to their skin color. 4. Even a request for water turned into a tug of war after we had waited for almost 20 minutes. I finally poured it out myself."
Pros: "staff"
Cons: "nothing it was perfect"
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "I will do again"
