Pros: "The usual SQ charm was in effect during the flight - the crew was great, helpful without being intrusive, and the Krisflyet experience (albeit an older B777-300) was still good and enjoyable."
Cons: "The Milanese boarding crew was a little unexpectedly rude - the Milanese ladies were just kinda shouting at everyone and ordering unclear instructions. I also sat near the bathroom (seats 43A and C) and the smell was sometimes a bit strong. Also slightly disappointing was how quickly the chicken ran out on the way up!"

Cons: "Kayak doesn’t specify its two separate tickets for my destination to kochi from Honolulu, also they didn’t specify their would be a stop in Japan before the flight reached Singapore. The flights were delayed by a few minutes, which led to me stressing to make it on time to my flights, and I felt dehydrated and nauseous. Also the website doesn’t specify that we will have to purchase meals either before hand or on board, and that the airlines only took cash and no credit card. It was miserable, a whole 20+ hour flight with lots of stress of catching my flight, checking and the checking my baggage, and being hungry and thirsty because I didn’t carry enough cash on me."

Unfortunately it was a short flight so I didn't et a chance to experience the whole service properly as I needed. I felt like royalty with the service offered by your staff who consistantly came to check if everything was in order without making a nuisance. Fantastic food and beverage options too. Overall a great experience, but would have liked it to be a 12hr experience instead of 5."

It was not close, she was a liar. They lost my bags. They kept calling me sir despite my corrections and obvious female anatomy. They had no remorse or apologies for their errors"

Malaysian airlines stayed in the runway, fixing an engine and the pilot said they were delaying the plane, driving in for passengers to disembark. After being told by cabin crew that a number of us were late for connecting flight, that they were going to wait for us, they didn’t and we were told we had missed the flight. We were kindly put on the next flight which wasn’t until five hours later. Unrealistic scheduling causes is to miss our flight and had us sitting at the airport for four hours, making it an unnecessarily long day. Not impressed."

The air New Zealand part was all great plane boarding etc, the horrible part is that we bought baggage allowances with virgin and they never transferred the information to air New Zealand. So there I am from the USA in a foreign country boarding a flight being asked to pay 500 nz dollars for a few kilos when I had already paid for it. Having to produce emails and payment information on something I had done months in advance. Overall I won’t recommend virgin next time I’d book directly with air New Zealand"

Cons: "I payed $50.00 USD on a seat so I would have a bigger seat. However, when I got into the plane, the lady that was going to be seating next to me asked me if I could change my seat with her husband; which was a regular seat. In order to avoid an awkward 12 hour flight, I agreed to change my bigger seat for a smaller seat. I felt disappointment that Air New Zealand separates parties and leaves room for uncomfortable situations. I really did not know what to do in this scenario, I paid for that seat but was in a way forced to give it a away without any refund in order to avoid 12 hours seating with some stranger's wife."

Cons: "My only complaint was in regard to the children's meals. We ordered children's meals ahead of time for our 2 kids. On our flight from SFO to AKL, no problem but on the return flight they only brought us one child's breakfast. I asked a crew member for the other one. She told us it would be brought over but never was. So my son had to wait until the regular meals were brought and have one of those. Not a big deal but it was a little annoying. Also, for the return trip dinner, they served delicious Kapiti ice cream with the adult meal but no ice cream with the kids' meals so my kids were super disappointed about that and my husband and I shared ours with them. Again, not a terrible offense, just a little annoying."

Cons: "The staff from Air NZ made me lose my flight, keeping me doing queue after queue to pay for a piece of luggage that (apparently) was not included in a $350 fare. They wanted me to pay between $160 and $200 for putting a backpack in the plane!! Pay for almost another flight entirely! While I was going through the queues, the check in time ran out and, by the time I got to talk to someone at the desk to pay for the bag, the woman told me the plane didn't accept any more passengers... while I was still trying to get someone from the airline to help me! ONE HOUR BEFORE DEPARTURE. The plane was supposed to departure at 8:15 and I was still there at 7:15 trying to send my backpack to the cargo area...the solution? Re-book the flight, make me pay $185 in penalties and fees, plus $160-$200 for luggage and the difference of price when booking another flight."

I had assumed that planes had navigational instruments to assist landings in low cloud, but it seems that much depends on actual physical visibility. Is this something to do with the fact that flight control towers are not manned? It was very disconcerting and the pilot's seemingly casual attitude did not really help. I was grateful to finally be able to land but was told on disembarkation that had there been 50ft less visibility, we would have been on our way back to Auckland!"

The food looked good tasted good and was plentiful. The pyjama were a nice added touch and very comfortable for the long flight. Flying into Cardiff airport was so good for my intended destination. I would certainly recommend them to others and many airlines could learn from their example.Well done and thank you"

But since the first leg is always getting in and you have to bus to the terminal, transit time is about 30 mins. Although they are efficient and i made it this time, i wouldn't want to do this with kids."

They are always polite, professional, and well trained compared to my previous favorites Delta and Lufthansa. The seats were comfortable (as comfortable as Economy and 24hours of flying can be), the entertainment and aircraft were state of the art, and the food was outstanding for airline food. If I get the chance in the future I will definitely choose Qatar Airways for long trips."

Cons: "Why does it take 2 hours to get all passengers on board? Why only one exit/ entry point to board/ disembark for an Airbus 440? The mist inefficient organization of passenger logistics you can imagine Hopeless airports..useless Airlines"

Cons: "Long flight on a 777-200. Crowded aircraft, crew not very attentive to call light, and food mediocre at best. Entertainment service was horrible, old movies and typical Qatar Airline selection of Bollywood films (Expected when flying from Doha, but not New Zealand!) Seat would not recline, but no option to move to another isle seat."

Pros: "Exlent"

Pros: "Generally good experience at least as far as a very long flight with two children can go. Good food with plenty and quite healthy snacks for kids. Very friendly and attentive crew, comparably comfortable seats, clean and comfortable bathrooms (what not always has been my experience with other airlines)"
Cons: "Due to a misunderstanding at check-in we have been seated away from a baby bassinette (although booked) to sit together with my husband, nobody asked what my preference would be (sitting as a whole family or having a bassinette) and a 17-hour flight with a 9month old baby constantly on my lap was challenging. Also a very disappointing selection of films and documentaries for adults. I ended watching a kids movie with my older daughter and it was the only thing I found appealing. Kids section very good though, my 5-year old was glued to the screen and all the options had my approval :)"

Pros: "Crew was nice. Food was excellent."

Pros: "Seats are comfortable with plenty of leg space. Aircrafts were clean and tidy. Landing and take off were smoothest I have ever experienced."
Cons: "Menu choice was very basic and quantity was also poor. Food quality was below par in terms of taste and presentation. In-flight crew was inefficient and flow. Meal trays laid on meal tables for hours after the passengers finished food. Flight attendants literally responded in over 30 min of call. I pressed special meals online before boarding. However, the flight attendants were not sure. They went back to kitchen to verify that and return with the ordered meal."

Pros: "My trip from Beijing to Doha was fine."
Cons: "I didn't like my trip from Dar to Doha nor from Doha to Dar. The plane is too small. The food wasn't good and they ran out of Mango juice both ways. I sat next to someone who had the smelliest feet on earth. Just wasn't pleasant."

Pros: "Good legroom with respect to others airlines.. the plane is clean.. multiple bathroom so no long waits Dinner was tasty.. however the breakfast was not."
Cons: "Cheap headphones will not isolate sound from airplane engine for such an expensive entertainment"

Cons: "Seats in economy very uncomfortable for long Doha to LAX flight. When person in front of us reclines seat for entire flight, it is almost impossible to get out to stretch legs or go to restroom. At the minimum, crew should ask all passengers to raise seats during meal service as a courtesy to those behind them. This is done on other airlines."

Pros: "Everything was good!"
Cons: "I had a torn budd/hamstring muscle and an upgrade to another class would have been great because I was in constant pain. Hopefully, when I return in a few days - this could be arranged?"

Pros: "Seats were roomy and leaned back quite comfortably. The gluten free meals I had were fantastic, which I've never said before of an airplane , even regular meals."

Cons: "There is nowhere in the airport to go for long layovers. The ticket counter didn't open until closer to the flight, without it I couldn't get inside to the Travelers Lounge, and spent most of my time in the entry area. I also was assigned a middle seat, which is even less fun than usual when you've been in India and your bowels are acting wonky."

Cons: "No leg room, very confining. Food so-so. I do not recommend traveling on this airline."

Cons: "In the B10 gate of Doha airport are only 15 chairs and we were around 100 persons waiting to open the gate. It was uncomfortable In the flight Doha Phuket wi-fi did not work in the first economy sector. It was a big problem to us, it was necessary to go in the second part of the economy sector to stay over the wifi. The crew did not solve the issue."

Pros: "Everything...quick board,friendly crew,nice flight, good food, in flight entertainment was good....just a really nice airline to go with"

Cons: "my wife has problem about her mobility so she was given a wheelchair. when we boarded in dfw those with disabilites or those who were in wheelchair included her were the first one to board the aircraft, in short they, people with disabilities, were prioritized from everybody else while in doha the first class passengers were the one who boarded first ahead of those with disabilites. now my question is, why is there a difference on how you treat customers, is this due to certain laws of a certain country, or is it due to the financial benefit that a customer give you or it depends on what the crew on duty at that time decides? May your answer to these be addressed to everyone who might be considering you and or supposed to be customer of yours so that they will be aware what to expect from you. Thank you."

Cons: "level up on the service, I think MH needs to take a second look at the whole company in terms of culture and level of service."

We were told then we should have rushed the counter to clear the 1 hour hurdle. There was no approach by staff to warn the waiting queue to do this. We were given boarding passes and told to try our luck taking the luggage through security and try gate baggage check. We made the plane 20 minutes before scheduled departure"

We did not have adequate swimwear, contact lenses solution, and most importantly, my wife's medication. She fell ill last night and continued to feel sick today because she was not able to take her medicine. To top it off, my wife currently cannot find a favorite piece of clothing. It is green, lacy lingerie. We are sure it was packed before leaving our previous destination. Could you please check to see if this piece of clothing was located, either at the airport in Bali or in Kuala Lumpur? If found, please send to our next destination, Pingviman Hotel, Chiang Mai. Because of the inconvenience, including not having our luggage for an entire day, my wife feeling ill, and this loss of her valued item of clothing, we believe we deserve some compensation. We are very displeased with these circumstances and hope you agree that something needs to be offered to us to once again feel satisfied. Thank you for your time. John and Emily"
