Finnair was not able to get our luggage on a connecting flight and there was a substantial delay of two days to obtain our lugguage. They did not communicate well, and we had to travel a significant distance to finally get our luggage. It has been a very negative experience.
On a more than 8 hours flight was only one meal included, which I have never experienced before. Always two meals on the overseas flight. It was very weird.
Business seating is soooo uncomfortable. You can sit straight up or lay down. You need pillows behind you because the back doesn’t lay down. Those are need to “prop” you up. The chair has no padding whatsoever. Food was gross. I’ve eaten on Finnair before and the food was exceptional. This time it gave 2 people in our party diarrhea. It was the chicken dish. I took 2 bites and didn’t eat anything more. The flight attendants were nice. You needed an additional lounge in Terminal D at DFW Airport. After waiting 40 minutes to enter, we finally gave up and went to a bar across from the club doors. I’m unsure if I’ll ever book a Finnair flight again.
It was a good flight, very comfortable seats for sleeping in business class. Probably the most comfortable business class seat I've ever had (20+ times in business class on various airlines). Service was good, but the only downside is my screen didn't work and it had to be reset multiple times to get it to shut off. I had to block my eyes because the screen was white almost the entire flight and I wore an eye mask when I slept. But when eating and reading in my seat, my eyes hurt because the only way to turn the screen off was reset it and the screen would only be off for a few minutes at a time.
Everything was wonderful! AirBus seats are more comfortable to sleep in as compared to the Boeing planes.
Great. It was awesome to have boarding from the front and back of the plane as it made the process go very quickly
We had an excellent trip with Finnair. This was our first time and we’re very pleased. The only issue was with the boarding - it was a little bit confusing and needs a little bit of streamlining.
Flight delayed over an hour. They said they would hold our connection but then did not.
The staff were all particularly great. The plane was clean and fresh. The bassinet worked great. It was all very nice.
Even if you wait for connecting passengers you should not be an hour late departing waiting their luggage. Your passengers may have connections in the other end and you harm them.
The flight was delayed due to snow in Frankfurt. There wasn't much information from BA or the airport, but Kayak was great and kept me informed of the delay and gate changes.
Have travelled business class with other airlines who profess to be the best in the world. They can however not beat the service and comfort that BA provide.
Tv screen didn’t work asked twice and never got an answer. 10 1/2 hrs no entertainment screen
Horrible experience. They lost my luggage and still can’t find it. The plane ride was below average. Food also terrible compared to other airlines.
GOOD: The flight was not delayed and the food was good. The IPA Goose Island beer was excellent. BAD: One of the crew members was so fat that every time she passed through the aisle, she bumped all the people along. Every single time. Once she bumped me with her breast, which made me particularly uncomfortable. I understand job fairness and protection against ageism and people with disabilities but if you buy an aircraft with a given width of aisle, you can't hire attendants whose buts are wider than the aisle. I am sorry but it was really annoying.
Good, except that checked luggage did not make it to DFW with me and still has not been delivered over 24 hours later. One bag is at DFWand one is at an apartment complex in Denton, Tx. I have a delayed baggage receipt, but phone number given at the baggage desk will not go through and can’t find another number to call.
The leg room on the plane was the smallest I have encountered in all my travels. Ił only 5’4
Crew could not even try to accommodate my food request. Phone Charging USB thing was not working.
Full flight. Seat 8 F. I don't usually have the business class seat at the last row. Feel awkward for the stewardess crossing over the person sitting on aisle. Nothing to complain, especially, the airline stewardess really tried to accommodate such situation. It is just an awkward seat.
