Cons: "Too much nonsense with carry on and check in language. I paid for my seat but they changed it for better balance of the plain. Really I weigh 165 lbs. Once the plane reaches altitude they let me take my seat. However the plane was barely occupied and somebody with closer and took my seat."

I was telling a friend today, Swiss Air started with drinks, gave us a Parisian baguette sandwich, gave us a healthy breakfast of yoghurt warm croissant butter jam orange juice, drinks again, and several passengers surrounding me got special attention, one woman with a baby, a disabled person, and a teenager that was 6'5" was relaocated by the flight attendant without him even asking to a bulkhead seat for more comfort. You don't see this kind a attention to detail on any US flights or US airlines, so I noticed it. It was as if I was traveling back in the 70's or 80's when Airlines would compete for our dollars with their service. I mentioned to my friend that if I had a choice and Swiss Air was one of the choices, I'd choose Swiss Air over any other airline."

I was then rerouted through Istanbul with the promise that I would be well compensated for my troubles. I was told that I would receive a certain amount for every hour I was delayed from my original arrival at end destination. Well I arrived 8 or more hours after I had originally expected (and the reason I booked with Swiss Air was because of the timing and the apparent luxury of the flight). Once I got back home and tried to pursue this amazing compensation I received some of the worst customer service ever and received 0 compensation for the experience. Very disappointed and will never fly swiss airlines again."

Once I was on the plane, I started kicking myself in the you know what because I knew immediately I was scammed. I had purchased a 1st Class ticket for $400+, only to find that my comfort would be the equivalent of that if I purchased a ticket in economy. My long legs would still be cramped. For the past few years, I have been purchasing 1st class for it's spaciousness. On this flight, on the RCJ700, I did not fly comfortably. The space was very tight, and I was able to stretch my legs as if I sat in economy. This was by far, my most uncomfortable flight ever. SMH; A WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!"

Cons: "Our flight was originally scheduled for departure at 7:45 PM. We got an alert stating that the flight was going to be delayed but we were already almost to the airport when I received the first message on my smartphone. We received three additional alerts making our total wait time at the airport 5½ hours before we could approach the gate and board the aircraft. Seating in immediate gate area was not comfortable. Boarding was chaotic at best with very little control and guidance provided by Delta staff. The audio over the PA system was difficult to decipher much of the time. The only other available boarding status information was presented on the screens stationed near the gate and indicated PREMIUM the entire time during our boarding process and was never updated. We literally had to scramble through the crowd to get to the gate desk and get our boarding passes validated so we could board our flight with our group of passengers. Our seating on board the aircraft was thankfully good which is why I rated Comfort as Okay. We were saddled with one more delay after the flight left the gate and taxied briefly down the runway and then sat there for almost an hour. My suggestions to improve customer satisfaction based on my experience would include the following 1. Provide extended alerts for passengers travelling especially if the anticipated delay is known to the airline more than 2 hours before scheduled flight time. 2. Improve seating in the waiting areas near all Delta gates. 3. Re-orient all staff in proper boarding process and utilizing all available resources properly to provide clear and intelligible (not speeding) overhead audio messaging and current boarding status prompts on displays. 4. Maintain or replace audio equipment if necessary to help improve quality of audio messaging in all boarding areas."

Third, I had pre-ordered a diabetic meal, they “think they may have given it to someone else.” Fourth, one hour delay making for a tight connection. And finally... they lost my suitcase. Should arrive in a few days."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed once again. Once we landed our carry on baggage was not given to us right away. We were told to wait for it outside the plane. After waiting, we were told we would have to pick it up at the baggage carousel with the checked luggage. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our carry on luggage."

Pros: "After taking a chance on an airline I had never heard of, we were pleasantly surprised! Although there was a weather related delay, they accommodated us on an earlier flight."

Pros: "I have flown on Porter numerous time but this was the first for my family. They enjoyed the Porter lounge and convenience of flying from the Toronto island right into EWR. We were able to take the NJ Train right to Penn Station (NYC) faster than any taxi."
Pros: "Either my mistake or a computer glitch gave me a ticket for an evening flight when I was looking for a morning flight. I was able to avoid switching fees by showing up at the airport for the first flight, and I was able to be seated comfortably. The staff at the check in was very nice and helpful. There is no entertainment so I gave that a one. On the short flight that I was on there was a choice of snacks, I chose almonds, thank you very much for the almonds and beverage. Happy travels, everyone!"
Cons: "They wanted me to check my carry on which could easily have fit under the seat in front of me."
Pros: "Why would you go any other way? Dependable service, complimentary in-flight wine, the world's best shortbread cookies, breeze through customs and the arrival gate is within walking distance of your hotel."

Cons: "After my flight with porter airline my souvenirs that were glass were smashed.. I have been on many flights around the states with those exact souvenirs and nothing. I don't think they treat your bags with care at all"
Pros: "I was allowed to go on an earlier flight which enabled me to go out to dinner with my husband for his birthday."
Cons: "I didn't like the pressurization of the cabin. I find that I have a hard time with my ears pressurizing on Porter flights. I flew earlier in the day with no problem with my ears then I take the Porterr flight and my ears won't clear at all. I feel this type of aircraft doesn't pressurize well."

The plane was very warm and stuffy, overhead air jet running very weakly: disconcerting when Covid is still a real concern. ie: fresh air would be nice. On arrival, a 15 minute wait once the plane was stopped at the gate before the door was opened to let passengers leave. Then a 50 minute wait for luggage.
Seats too cramped

I actually came to kayak to book my ticket for Friday to go to London however when I got to the airport it says it was for Monday. Because I had to be at London the next day for a wedding i had to buy another ticket for almost 1000. I also couldn’t contact u so I’m emailing now. I didn’t get on the plane for west jet because I am already in London. I also have a screen shot that shows me that my flight details were for Friday however another email shows me that it’s for Monday. Cons: "Was boarding at C70 but only saw signs for 71 and C73. Asked Westjet staff where we were boarding and they told me (and others) that even though we were booked to take off from C70 we’d be departing from the gate labeled C73 and also labeled for a flight to Regina. Still got to Hamilton though."
Pros: "The stewards were great however no TV anymore and meals because of cost cutting was where we thought it was lacking."

Pros: "I had been very sick the night before the flight and was so weak that I needed a wheelchair. The wheelchair helpers at both the Mazatlan end and Calgary were exceptional. They were so kind and genuinely helpful. I was very grateful. Also, your flight attendants seem to really enjoy their jobs. This is not the case on other airlines!"

No amount of asking nicely will get you any action at all. Six hour flights and you get a coffee and cookie. Flight stewardess makes you wait in the aisle behind row 3 for the bathroom - sure, just stand there and tower over some other poor traveller, don't stand right next to me - I'm a flight stewardess for goodness sakes! Having flown professionally, and for business and leisure for over 40 years I offer this advice - pick another airline - these guys do not deserve to be in the business."

Cons: "The gate in LGW was one of the farthest in the aiport. The flight ia 8.5 hours and the ticket is not cheap. But you have to pay for everything. Even onvboard entertainment. The only free thing is the soft drinks and that is even rationed. I flew with worst airline and for long flight they at least give a free meal."

Cons: "At WestJet, Canadian PR are not eligible for on-line check in. WestJet make Canada PR travel on WestJet so hard. Air Canada, United all can do online check in for Canada PRs. Don't know why WestJet is so stupid and ridiculous... In flight, no flight map is available. So out-of-date."
