Pros: "We flew business class from Dubai to D.C., and the VERY long trip was made so much more endurable with all the amenities offered. For example: - fully reclining seats with mattresses that enable sleep - attentive, thoughtful service - a lounge in which to get a drink or snacks, relax, talk with people - good food and drink - a personal bar at your seat with water and soft drinks We've also flown Emirates in tourist class, and it, too, is far superior to most other airlines. There's more seat room, more leg room, good service, clean bathrooms, and decent food and drink."

The supervisor get a special mention as he helped me with eating my meals with a sleeping toddler and even held her for me while I spent a penny. I have never felt more cared for by a group of complete strangers in my life! Thank you. You literally saved my sanity!"

It just seemed seamless and felt like it didn't take that long to get there. I will definitely be catching this flight, every time I return to NZ"

Cons: "I bought a return from Emirates with the returning flight from Australia to London as a code share with Qantas. Qantas does not honour the e-ticekts from Emirates and will NOT allow you to preselect seats online. You have to hope for a good seat at airport checkin. Too bad, as I would have been prepared to pay extra for a seat upgrade."

Cons: "My meal was awful the only option for me was raw vegetables in order to have vegetarian and gluten free... It was carrot, cucumber and celery sticks and some fruit. I had the same meal twice it was very sad meal for 17.5 hrs with no snacks offered either. My partner and another man were forgotten as the meal rounds were being done. The crew seemed a little disorganised. The adverts on the entertainment were annoying."

Cons: "I paid for the higher wifi bandwidth, but the service was spotty and some websites/social media wouldn't load. Even some texts wouldn't send. I wish there was more legroom between the seats for such a long flight. But the value for the overseas flight was still quite good."

The entertainment system and seat amenities are top notch - large screen, great selections, power sources, remote control (cabled). I was so impressed I planned to join their frequent flyer program (*** but see review of second leg - Dubai to Manila *** )."

I didn't want to move from my seat as the person beside looked busy at work and I didn't know where I would go because I couldn't see any flight attendants anywhere."
Pros: "Emirates is easily the beeeest airline out there. Their economy beats almost every other airline, and their rewards system is fantastic (truly rewarding -- I get free flights all the time for being a Skywards Silver member). The food is so much better than other airlines too. I ordered a vegan meal and their vegan meals over the past 6 years went from absolutely awful to incredibly delicious and gourmet. Their entertainment system is also the best Ive seen across all airlines. They have movies that are literally still in theaters, as well as old classics, comedies, horrors, tv shows, world movies in every language, audiobooks, meditation guides and more. The crew is totally accommodating. Happy to keep flying on Emirates for every flight !"

Cons: "as far as a seat in coach goes, you're getting a pretty good deal. obviously flying 14 hours across the pacific is pretty rough and we would all like to fly first class, but as far as coach goes, I cant complain. only downside was that I had an exit seat, so tons of leg room, but couldn't use the entertainment while in taxi, takeoff and landing, where I could've squeezed another movie in, but its a safety thing and a fair trade for the extra room."

It delayed the flight over 2 hours and then the process screw up someone visas and they had to be removed with their luggage. But you know this already! You need to implement a better secondary system and have your employees be trained to use it."

Cons: "I am an AA member and usually fly them domestic. The seats are horribly uncomfortable for an international flight. The flight attendants woke you up for meals. There is no space between you and the seat in front of you and they didn't tell anyone to put their seat up while you were eating. It was really difficult to get comfortable. I find it easy to fall asleep on planes and I couldn't fall asleep on this one."

Took hours of phone calls and a lot of anxiety before we completed the trip. I used my American airline frequent flyer card and even though we flew over 14000 miles, we got credit for 500."

Also, they ran out of red wine before dinner. - the staff skipped over me TWICE when handing out beverages. I had to remind them that I existed twice and they didn't apologize for skipping over me."
