The seat was comfortable, the entertainment options varied and extensive and the cabin team were amazing. They clean the bathrooms between uses. Seriously how do other airlines still exist?"

I am usually very quite and light on demands as i hardly hit call button on the seat to get any assistance, but during meal, I was asked about drink and I opted for Ginger ale. Crew said, she will get back to me and I did not hear from her for another 10 mins, then there was repeat serve of drinks and I was asked if i needed any thing and asked the same drink, but then I was asked to wait. After I had finished off my meal and ready to go to sleep, someone was bringing my drink out and I then respectfully say no to it as it was bit late after the meal and asked for water instead and did not like the look on the face of the crew member. I saw it happening with other passengers as well and was under the impression, the whole crew performance was pretty poor and SIA was not up to its high-standards as I always like to fly with them. I will look for different option next time"

I rarely, if at all, leave any reviews myself but my flights (from SFO - Singapore and vice versa) were AMAZING! I was sitting in economy and the level of attentiveness that we received, I could only imagine how great first class could be. if i could fly Singapore on all my trips overseas I would."

Cons: "I was denied checking in a the counter. I bought the ticket with a friends credit card and they needed to have the actual card to swipe and then only they get access to my booking. It is company policy but it is not stated when you are making the purchase the airlines website. It says so on the bottom of the ticket on the page long rules in small print. And in all honesty who reads all of that these days. The ground crew were nice enough to take me to the airlines office at the airport and figure out a solution. It took an hour and a half to sort it out and get a verification from headquarters office in Srilanka."

And thing this was informed to the China Southern officials so that they could arrange something for me. I requested them to put me into another flight for which i was ready to pay the whole amount but no one listen to my request & i had to wait so long. I was amazed to see that no one was keen to understand my problem at both he airports i.e. Auckland Airport & Ganzhaou Airport. Apart from this the behavior of your officials was so rude & arrogant it made me feel as if i was a slave or some kind of culprit. Due to the ignorance & laid back attitude on your part i couldn't reach my destination on my time. Seriously it took me "24 hrs Extra" to reach my destination & as a result of which i couldn't perform the cremation. I was pissed off by the service; complete ignorance by the staff/officials of ur airlines. I wasn't expecting this kind of treatment from a reputed company like you. I request you guys to look into this matter seriously and try to take some corrective measures so that this thing won't happen in future with someone else."

Held on plane for 4 of those hours without updates. Toilets were not flushing and reeked the interior cabin. Passengers wanted to leave and get hotel accommodations but were not given such options and were trapped on plane. Passengers began confronting and arguing with flight stewards. Still no updates from captain during whole ordeal. People were very agitated and trust was lost as flight attendants seemingly forced passengers back into their seats abruptly. Some left plane due to feeling unsafe to fly."

Airlines close check-in for flights 30 mins before departure time to ensure that all bags make it onto the plane. I was 3 hours early. Don't know why they 'didn't have time'. They also broke my friend's bag."

The 319's don't have individual movies but they played a nice kids movie on the overhead screens which was a pleasant surprise. And even though the flight was delayed I can't be too upset because they upgraded our family of 7 to economy plus ahead of time without me even asking (We risked not paying for seat selection and it worked out great!). Bags checked all the way through and no complications on any of our 4 international flights, that's good service!"

It's not super comfortable in economy, but it's completely fine for economy and you get what you pay for. Attendants were also reasonably nice, nothing that stands out good or bad. We got the Asian vegetarian meal and it was pretty good for airplane food -- two Indian-style meals served at either end of the flight."

Not really good enough given we paid extra in order to be able to travel together. Pick up your game MAS - 2 planes out of the sky and you won't regain customers like this!"

China Eastern called for final boarding 5 minutes after boarding began, which created a panic! This made everyone run the long distance to the gate, to only find out that the plane was half empty upon boarding. We ended up departing late because of the aforementioned bottle neck but China Eastern should not have announced the final boarding call so soon."

We received no explanation for the cancellation of the flight. China Eastern and Flight Network did very little to help us. They wanted to rebook us on a flight 2 days later than the one that was cancelled. Originally, we were meant to arrive in Chicago Saturday morning, and the flight they planned to switch us to would not arrive until Monday night. Since we have jobs to keep, that wouldn't work for us. We tried to get a refund for the cancelled flight but couldn't seem to find anyone who would help us. We had to pay for a new flight on our own, costing us $1800."

Cons: "Because of congestion at shanghai the flight from Delhi to Shanghai, the flight was canceled. The handling of the cancellation was terrible on both the Chinese Eastern and Indian airport official's side. Communication was slow and spotty, and this caused much stress and loss of time for the passengers. After repeated calls to the customer service center, it was discovered that China Eastern didn't even know the status of their own flights, as the computer systems didn't reflect the changes. I was passed to different customer service representatives being on hold for over an hour. Finally, It took 7 hrs to go from cancelation until we got to hotel, from 1am until 8am. During this time, passengers were repeatedly corralled in cold location and no refreshments were offered. The following day, the confusion continued as China Eastern and the Indian Air Port Officials passed blame and communication broke down between the passengers. At no point were all the parties concerned briefed on the plan, so people were left wondering and not sleeping during the time at the hotel. Finally a Chinese national called the Chinese embassy of Delhi, and the Chinese government stepped in and got us a flight out. China Eastern's denial of responsibility, lack of internal communication, and lack of Chinese Eastern ground support in Delhi made this flight experience the worst of my life. Some how I would like a full refund for the return portion of the trip."
