Cons: Colonial parking provides valet parking at the Willard for $55 per night. They refused to tell me about any other options when there was another parking garage just behind the hotel. I won't return to the Willard until they lower their parking rates.

Cons: If you forget to tip housekeeping each morning, don't expect clean towels.

Cons: Tiny gym, mold in the bathroom grout, room amenities were average, surprising amount of wear and tear in our room for a hotel in this category.

Cons: The rooms were a bit small.

Cons: Tiny elevators. Room was small. Only 1 tiny window in the room and we had no view. Shower door didn't stay closed. The water was $4 a bottle in the room. There was no dresser but rather 2 drawers located in the closet.

Cons: Draft from windows (they are not sealed),the bathroom is cold (no heating lamp there), the heating blows air straight to bed (not comfortable at all especially after taking a bath) no coffee maker in the room, and no hot drinking water in the lobby after 11 am.

Cons: The amenities were bare bones. No frig in room, no comp breakfast or wine hour. The fitness center was a little lacking as well: small space and there were free-weights, but no benches on which to use them. The water pressure in the shower was very weak. It was like trying to shower with a toy squirt gun. Check-in could have been a bit smoother: we arrived around noon, so we had previously requested an early check-in (normal check-in is 3:00 PM and this is not explicitly stated until you complete your booking). We were told over the phone early check-in would not be possible. Once we arrived, we went to the hotel anyway to see if we could store our bags. It turned out we were able to check in early, so I'm not sure why were initially told that early check-in was not possible. Service at the restaurant was poor. We went for lunch after checking in. I ordered a drink after we were seated and I did not receive it until after we were finished eating and had received the check. There was some kind of problem with their taps. They were apologetic and did provide the drink for free since it took so long, which was nice.

Cons: The amenities were bare bones. No frig in room, no comp breakfast or wine hour. Only one set of small bathroom toiletries. Room was dusty. Only one elevator working (under construction). Could offer coffee or iced tea or lemonade in lobby.

Cons: This particular time that I was at the hotel to check in clerk gave me a very small room I was very unsatisfied with this room I’ve stayed here many times and everybody else always gives me rooms they have a nice space the one thing

Cons: Restaurant staff were poor. I sat for 10 minutes at the restaurant outside on the patio. Several waiters came by. No one would wait on me and it wasnt busy. I left.

Cons: Only thing missing was coffee maker in the room.

Cons: Registration person never bothered to look up during the transaction, even when we first approached the desk - she just sensed we were there and launched into her questions. Repeated the mistake when we returned with the valet ticket to stamp.

Cons: Very small thing: please move towel rack higher, out of contact with toilet cover.

Cons: Internet wasn't working and front desk response was unhelpful and dishonest. And for anybody keeping track, 2 coffees in the lobby were $15. Cheaper at the Ritz.

Cons: Water pressure in shower low.

Cons: The only thing I didn't like wasn't really the hotel's fault. The proximity to a Metro station was quite a hike. However, there were plenty of cabs should I have needed them.

Cons: I RESERVED 5 ROOMS BUT WHEN I CALLED TO ASSIGN NAMES TO THE ROOMS, I WAS SUBJECTED TO A PISSING CONTEST BETWEEN THE FRONT DESK AND RESERVATION DEPARTMENT. iT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE RESOLVED, BUT ON ARRIVASL IT WAS NOT. iT CONTINUED DOWN HILL AT THE FRONT DESK. NEVER AGAIN...

Cons: front desk staff was either not friendly (one person) or not very competent (second person). Bathroom was not cleaned well on arrival and cleaning person wasn't friendly, either. Won't stay here again.

Cons: First room not clean (pubic hair in tub, stuck to used soap). Changed room. Got a sarcastic apology. Next day, coffee maker in room didn't work. Asked for a new one. Instead, they sent a repair guy ("did you put water in it?" -really!?). Took 45 mins to finally get coffee & hit the gym brfore AM meeting. And what a dump of a gym. One of two treadmills broken, eqipment from 1980. Oh. And $10 for in-room wifi? Why would a business traveler stay at this place? I won't do so again.

Cons: A safe would have been helpful to store passports, money and small electronics instead of lugging everything around while touring. A small refrigerator would have been a good enity to have. My 5 yr old grandson had milk and snacks that needed c

Cons: Limited to 30min free wifi in lobby. Hours of bar.

Cons: Everything met my expectations.

Cons: Room was a little warm despite the air conditioner on high.

Cons: No negatives really. We did have a problem control the air temperature/freshness at night, but that might have been because it was a warm weekend in spring -- maybe the air conditioners weren't on yet?

Cons: The view from our room was not great, but we didn't care.

Cons: breakfast service downstairs extremely slow I ordered smoked salmon bagel and cream cheese with C it took over 30 minutes to get it to me the serverwas very flustered I asked for a to go box she just gave me just the box with no wax paper to take away my food.

Cons: The room was filthy. It was NYE so we didn't make a big fuss about it but we were not happy right away. Random sprays of stuff on the walls, a nice little white stain on the bed skirt. The first thing we did was check for bed bugs and luckily there were none. We went out for a nice dinner and when we got back there were security guards in the lobby who stopped us and asked if we were guests but we just nodded and he let us right by. We spent the rest of the night listening to one of our neighbors break glass and toss furniture around- I get it it's NYE but we didn't think this hotel was that kind of place or we never would have paid this much to stay here. The only thing the front desk did was offer us comped breakfast and to have security "look around". The final blow came upon checkout when we found out the valet fee was $50! $50?! Why not offer to comp that instead of breakfast no way we were gonna eat something made in this filthy place.

Cons: If it had a pool it would have been perfect, but otherwise it was fantastic. Service at the in-hotel restaurant was slow and food was a little overpriced compared to the excellent food you could get around town.

Cons: One comment, the cleaning staff woke us up at 8AM to ask us what time we wanted the room cleaned. I thought that was a little weird... would generally prefer they just come when we're not there.

Cons: I can honestly say that there was nothing bad about this trip...my wife and I had a wonderful time!

Cons: Most of the staff was excellent but one person was not friendly and didn't make effort to upgrade the room since the door of the room they gave me was broken. A second person immediately changed the room for the better.

Cons: Hair dryer could use an upgrade but was definitely sufficient to get the job done.

Cons: No premium channels. Broken toilet that was "fixed" twice but I had to fix it myself a couple times. No water pressure. House keeping only left us with 1 towel. View of a brick building 6ft from my window. Bar staff were disruptive and joking loudly with doormen while people waited at the bar.

Cons: Room service was very expensive, there was a $10 delivery fee, then 18% gratity automatically added, and when they deliver, then there’s another line for a tip the receipt. Also the air conditioning in the room was terrible. By day 3, I would say it finally got to 74 in the room, after being set to 65 the entire time.

Cons: The closet space in the room I had was limited and would probably be tight for two people. This is a very small fault in an otherwise very pleasant stay.

Cons: Cannot think of anything. Oh, there is one little thing, the front door to my room, number 302, sticks. I meant to inform the front desk, but it was so insignificant compared to everything else, that I forgot.

Cons: Upon entering hotel the check in was poorly run I attempted to use the self check in terminal But it informed me after several pages and key strokes that it was not working So got in line at the personnel check in. I stood for 22 minutes as the two people working the counter dealt with 2 customers The staff would not make eye contact with those of us in line Poor customer service training The staff should always acknowledge those waiting with eye contact and a few words Such as " we will be with you as soon as we can thankuou for your patience" They did not get anyone to come help and deal with the issues of the two people that were wanting satisfaction over their bill or Parking fee Etc. Just a poor introduction to a nicely appointed hotel

Cons: The only critical comment I can make is that the conditioner toiletry bottle was empty.

Cons: Handing me a sack of terrible food at my door is not room service.

Cons: Restaurant (breakfast) food just ok.

Cons: The restaurant was not appealing. Not many closeby restaurants or shops. No convenience stores nearby. Walmart is about 15 minute walk which is not far, but I'm not sure if it's safe to walk at night. There is a liquor store across the street, but it's not a convenience store so the items are limited. No refrigerator in the room.

Cons: Air conditioning seemed to be not working so well. A small mini fridge is always a plus in any hotel.

Cons: Some areas close to the hotel didn't feel the safest for walking. Quickly figured out which direction was best to walk to avoid those areas. TV was broken (didn't complain while we were there because I only tried to watch the day we were packing to leave).

Cons: Lack of parking requires you to valet for $56 a day. If you are somebody that needs a great view you won't find it here.

Cons: Hidden charges. $58 a night to park. Nowhere did I see that when I booked the trip. $8 for a draft beer that should be $3, I get a call from security in the evening waking me up, stating that the policy is to call if the do not disturb sign is out. The do not disturb sign was out, I didn't want to be disturbed. Couldn't go back to sleep. I'm a small business owner, if I treated my customers that way, I would be out of business. I will never give that hotel a dime again.

Cons: No complimentary Wifi or cable TV

Cons: Hotel lobby shop was typical "airport prices" for anything you'd want, making You feel like a fool if you didn't to walk across the street and buy a snack or coffee at 1/3 price.

Cons: Only complaint is the pool was supposed to be open late , but two of our three nights there it closed almost two hours early.

Cons: The clerk in the gift shop could have been more upbeat.

Cons: Pool locker rooms out of date and in disrepair.

Cons: We upgraded to a buffet breakfast, which was lacking and the hot food was cold. Not a good value at $25/ person, but at a hotel, I understand the price, but if the food is cold, then it was a waste of money.

Cons: Strangely they never seemed to pick up the dirty dishes from room service except for once a day. The same dirty plates and half eaten food was sitting in the hallway outside of the rooms for more than 10 hours one day. Gross.

Cons: I booked my stay two month prior for a King Bed for one night. When I got there, they said they were sold out of King Bed's and all they had were two doubles. Not the biggest deal, but what is the point of booking a King in advance if that is not what is available? Also, our room did have a musty smell to it when we first got it. After running the air for a bit, it went away.

Cons: The location was not good. I did not feel safe walking back to the hotel day or night. The hotel was surrounded by homeless.

Cons: Very expensive incidentals: water, snacks, etc. Buy these up at the Walgreens @ Union Station.
