Washington bed & breakfasts

Pros: A/C, breakfast, very convenient location - near our daughter's apartment, National Zoo, busses and Metro, Starbucks; good restaurants within walking distance; nice patio to relax on

Pros: They were flexible to me check in and check out, had a great location close to metro, DuPont, and National Cathedral, were clean, comfortable bed, and had just excellent customer service. And excellent value, good for short or ext need stay.

Pros: The staff was lovely and incredibly helpful. The room was clean and homey. The location was great right next to the zoo and the metro.

Pros: Adams and really felt like my home away from home. The beds are comfy. The place is charming. There is a nice living room area where you can work or plan out your day. I arrived in DC area early (7am), & I was exhausted! The person who had been staying in a room left early in the morning, so the staff did everything they could so that I could get in to the room before the 3 PM check-in time. I was able to rest for a couple hours before spending the rest of the day writing in the lounge. When I came home later that evening I was able to grab a cup of tea and some cookies that they always have out for their guests. It's these little touches that make you feel really comfortable and like in your own home. The breakfast was good too. Plenty of options (cereal, oatmeal , bagel, deli meats, cheese, yogurt, fruit, etc...)so everyone could find something they enjoyed. When I left the hotel room, I forgot my charger. I realized this when I got onto the bus to the airport. I called them, and they were kind enough to offer to mail it back to me. I made sure that they had my credit card on file so they could charge me for the shipping. Then I got an email back from the owner saying that they had mailed it free of charge. Talk about taking care of your guests! I really loved my stay here & highly recommend it to others!

Pros: Inn went above and beyond to cater to our Passover needs. Friendly clientele - mostly foreign.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and informative. Our room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was great. The building was located in a convenient location part of DC near Howard University, and we felt safe where we stayed. Our cars were in a parking area that was lit up at night, and is a short walking distance.
