Cons: The A/C was on blast. Too cold in the common public areas. Like arctic cold. Uncomfortable. Also the lighting in the room was totally insufficient. Very dim and dark. Opening the windows didn't help because we were in a room on the inside part of the hotel which faced the other wall of the building.

The water pressure was so low that I had a very difficult time washing shampoo off my hair, the sink too had the same issue, water pressure and warm water! I informed the front desk regarding this matter on Saturday morning on my way out , they assured me that it will be taken care of came back Saturday night around 11 pm and the problem was NOT fixed . I stayed for 2 nights and did not enjoy bathroom experience! With taking shower or just washing face brushing teeth!

Pros: The staff was very accommodating and gave us a room upgrade as it was available due to mid-week date and my husband's birthday. It was such an unexpected surprise and I really felt appreciated. This genuine thing alone would make me want to stay there again. I can't remember the man's name but he was a young man with a beard during the daytime and was very friendly. He is a very good representative of your hotel/company. He made sure that my husband and I had recommendations for local restaurants, gave some advice about travel.

Our omelettes were delicious. All staff members were impeccably attentive, helpful, and friendly. The experience was clearly a 10. But, like everything else at the Shoreham, it was quite expensive, namely $27/person for a simple two egg omelette and coffee. There's a great bar off the lobby, and again the staff is highly attentive and friendly but the beverages are quite expensive.

Cons: Facility and grounds are very nice. However.. (1) We wanted the historical, Grand Old Same experience and booked a "traditional" room but were put in the newer, undistinguished Parkview wing. We booked a King room and got two smaller beds. Three calls to Front Desk rang for over a minute each with no answer. Hotel hosts a lot of events in the evening with the result (expeeienced on several visits) that the bar and lobby lounge area have zero seating. Parking is outrageous, especially for a non-downtown location: $55 for four hours or more, $30 or $35 for three hours. Plus, they charged me twice. They removed the second charge but without a hint of apology.

The staff if you can call them that don’t speak English and they are guys in an office, there is no reception area. There is lukewarm water in the shower but no hot water in the kitchen or bathroom sinks. The hall is filled with clouds of cigarette smoke and I now have to have the AC on to get rid of cigarette smell—which I am allergic to This place has no services... don’t expect them AND if the hotel is 11 miles from the airport that as the seagull flies. Cab ride will cost about 200 lira... we paid 168 TKL but it was 4:30 in the morning and there was no traffic

Cons: The biggest problem is that windows aren't noise cancelling and the amount of noise that comes into the rooms is very distracting if you have issues sleeping (even just standard traffic could be heard from the 7th floor). The room were quite small as well as the bathroom, but good enough. The TV was a pain to work with as the remote would react to 1 of every 10 inputs and the angle at which you had to point it at the TV was quite specific. Additionally although parking is available it is not included in with the stay and there is a 30$ per day additional fee.

I then pulled up my documentation and they reluctantly agreed giving me massive attitude. I used to use Kayak all the time. Will never use the service again. Would have cancelled out of whole reservation except my business partners all we're at the hotel and had similar problems

Pros: The location was nice.
Cons: The room was outdated, carpet falling apart, broken outlets, flickering lights, no fridge, microwave, or complementary breakfast. The room had a mildewy / musty smell. When I tried to call the hotel restaurant, I got a dead line tone. I wouldn't go back.

Cons: Check in is strange. Lacks a traditional lobby with check in desk. Representative has an iPad & credit card reader. The room was clean but lacked a coffee maker. The staff was pleasant and location close to a metro.

Cons: Front desk staff were distant,and surly. Room was nasty; mold on ceiling above window. Window was cloudy and distorted. Veiw was the HVAC. Desk chair was trashed; ripped and torn. Coffe table was chipped. BUT THE WORST PART WAS PAYING $28 FOR INTERNET.

Pros: Location was ok, not as central as other hotels but only a 20 minute walk to places like the Capitol One arena etc. Good facilities and a very comfortable bed.
Cons: I had a mouse in my room which was a bit of a shock. When I reported it to the reception desk they were not surprised at all so am guessing it's not an uncommon occurrence!

Pros: We enjoyed everything this hotel had to offer, staff is excellent, the rooms are perfect & the location is A+. The minute we arrived we were greeted & checked in (early) by the very friendly staff who provided us excellent service the entire weekend.

Cons: The overall hotel was just blah. The walls are thin and the hotel is located next to a fire station and so we heard sirens all night. Our hotel room overlooked dumpsters but we weren’t expecting much more. The room overall just felt shabby and needing updates - wall paper bubbling, chipping tub tiles, etc the bed wasn’t the most comfortable either but it was good for what we needed - a place to sleep. However the parking situation was the most irritating because to park is $50 but we were told if we stayed less than 24 hours we would only be charged the hours we parked. This was not the case and still had to pay the $50 for only being parked there for 18 hours.

Pros: The atmosphere was great. It was a very stylish place. Everything was clean and artsy. The accommodations were very inviting and incredibly comfortable. The location was great! We were within a few miles from everything we wanted to see and do. I would definitely recommend The Wink to anyone!
