Great location...lots of restaurants nearby. Staff very nice.
Arrived to find out hotel was under renovation. Restaurant closed, but vouchers for bagels given out. water off during the day on two days. Our room was renovated. Must have been designed by a man. No towel racks in bath, no coffee machine in room as advertised, huge TV
- It was not very good value for money. - The room was tiny, even though I intentionally paid more, and the view was such an eyesore I kept the curtain closed the whole time - There was construction happening even on Sunday. Not only was there no mention of construction happening before the booking, but at check in I was told no construction on Sundays. - The rooms lay out was impractical. The placement of the TV is completely off, I found it discomforting to watch TV - There was no TV remote on check in and I had to request a remote 3 times before receiving it. I even had to physically go down to reception to follow up regarding my request. - The cleanliness of the room also was not great, there were soup stains on the washing basin upon check-in. - The drain in the bath tub can't keep up with the water coming out of the shower, so you stand in your own filth while showering, further there is no way to regulate the water pressure so you can't even manually accommodate for the change in water drain. - We wanted to check out late so we called reception and they said it is fine we can check out at 1. We went out for brunch and when we came back at 11 to grab our stuff to check out, our cards had been deactivated. So we had to go down to reception and explain the whole situation.
The staff was nice but what else could they do. They did however take off 136.00 from entire bill when a whole day should have been comped at this point.
All the construction and no restaurant like mentioned in ad. The construction is horrible. They even turned off the hot water on my second day. Let's not mention I got trapped in lobby because the elevators were down. There was no carpet in rooms. Plus our doorless shower was clogged and water ran the entire floor of bathroom. We reported it and engineering came in and fixed, but unfortunately the problem persisted into the following day. More water more problems.
The location was everything! The renovated rooms were beautiful and the beds were incredibly comfy! The details in the room were very thoughtful as well. I loved the style. I would stay here again and recommend my friends & family!
Nothing I didn’t like. Be mindful that the hotel itself is under renovation including the restaurant. But I’m sure it’s just more greatness to come!
need to finish renovation
