1.I rented a car for $112 at pickup time 10am. I made a modification for 6am and the price when up to $184.68. And I agree with the changes. When I got there the modifications didn’t appear on my reservation. 2.I reserved the car for $184.68. When I got there they told me that was an estimation and I had to pay almost $500. 3.my credit card had car insurance, Payless didn’t accept it so I have to choose their insurance and pay the new amount. 4.Online Payless NEED to be transparent with the costumers and not lying to us just to get more money. I had the chance to get other car a little cheaper for that busy week from a more known company and at the airport but, I took my chances and rented from you although I read online bad reviews. At the end, the cheapest things always cost me more. I will never rent again from online Payless.Reviewed 25 Feb 2023

Shuttled to middle of nowhere from airport. Price was 2x what we agreed on Kayak ($690 instead of $350). Trapped in middle of nowhere late at night, but thankfully rescued by Uber. Didn't have a car the whole trip, but at least we didn't gratify the Payless extortion.Reviewed 15 Feb 2023

Obtaining my vehicle was terrible. They applied tons of fees that made the rental much more expensive than the original reservation price. I will not be renting from Payless again.Reviewed 15 Feb 2023

They don't train their staff well so they make mistakes,they don't know the policies. I bought insurance before the trip and when I got there the undertrained staff did not accept it and overcharged me by triple. I went through proper channels and got the money back but was a real challenge. And the management was incredibly rude and dishonest, although at the end they took care of it the customer service was awful at best. Would not recommend it.Reviewed 20 Jan 2023

Our flight had delayed and they were closed after 11:30pm. This was not there as a clear note, so we did not know they will be closed after 11:30. So we were not able to pick up the car and had to take uber.Reviewed 1 Jan 2023

The service rep was so uninterested in renting to me that i a tu went next door to Nu rental and rented from them. He seemed to turn a lot of people away with his attitude. I showed my declaration page to nu rental and had no problems there and although it was a smaller vehicle, it was half the cost. I will never rent from Payless.Reviewed 1 Jan 2023

SCAM! I was originally quoted $110 for my rental car, taxes, and fees. I left Payless being charged $340. I was told if I did not pay for their insurance we would have to wait for a long verification process for my own insurance and a $1000 hold would be placed on my card. The customer in front of me had a similar experience. I overheard him asking the clerk about the outrageous price hike. The man behind the counter talked down to me and my family with more condescends I have ever experienced when we only talked to him with respect.
