To begin with, the amount quoted was definitely not what I received from Kayak. They obligated to take their insurance because I didn’t show proof, ( a letter), indicating that my insurance would cover vehicle. Otherwise, I couldn’t take the vehicle. That’s real bad business and will NOT EVER recommend Dollar rental to anyone and maybe even Kayak because of false quote.Reviewed 28 Feb 2024

You should have told me it was not on the airport property. You need to clearly disclose that you need to wait for a shuttle to go off property to get your car. Finding the shuttle is hard and takes too long. Cheap price is good but not if you don't disclose the inconveniences,Reviewed 22 Feb 2024

Upon arrival from CT, I was told my reservation had been canceled the night before! More outrageous thing was that I was forced to take insurance full cover!!! Either that or stay stranded without a car. I believe that was rip off and illegal, since i had declined insurance because my own insurance covers rentals. Staff was not helpful and did not seem to care that they took advantage of travelers with a blank stare. Also, I was charged a whole day plus taxes, fees and insurance for returning the car one hour late!!! Won’t rent from Dollar again. Better get Uber. Stay away from this company!!!Reviewed 27 Dec 2023

We were charged additional fees when renting the car in-person. We would have appreciated if we were informed about those prior to booking.Reviewed 20 Dec 2023

The drop off was crazy! On the email I tried both addresses and 1 address was closed and the other address sent me to a different part of town. I tried calling the phone numbers and no one answered.Reviewed 6 Dec 2023

Many hidden fees (local fees, mandatory insurance, additional taxes) ballooned my price by 600% of compared to what I expected to pay from my online reservation.Reviewed 13 Nov 2023
