Staff was very courteous and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean. The mix of modern and historic aesthetics is done very well. There is warmth and charm to the whole building.
The terrasse closes starting in October. While the windows do an amazing job isolating noise from the outside, the same cannot be said about the room door leading to the hallway. Whispered conversations and rolling suitcases can be heard very clearly. The blackout curtains don't quite completely cover the top section of the window. This is significant, as the rooms facing St Paul street will have bright streetlights shining in through all night long.
Staff was friendly. Room was spacious and nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable. And the hotel is nicely situated where you could walk to many things or easily catch an Uber. We have already planned our next trip which is in December 2019 and we are coming back
Beautiful building in a great location! Staff were very nice.
Great old architecture, lots of restaurants to choose from, water front views, easy safe walking distances.
Could not control your own temperature in the room.
What a delightful hotel. We chose a room looking toward the river and would have been within walking distance of the ship we disembarked (had the ship not changed the port docking number.) The location is fabulous. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was very nicely appointed and comfortable. I would definitely recommend Auberge du Vieux Port to others and stay there again, if in Montreal.
We have nothing to complain about or dislike.
