Staff were helpful.
Confusion about where to park the car. Once we understood we could drive up 3-4 blocks on the same street and park underground on the left hand side near the Metro we were happier.
They must start demolition and rebuild this immediately! this hotel is full in humidity, the mattress is very stiff and the bathroom is very small.
Very good location. Inexpensive. Courteous staff.
Old building which could have been used to it's benefit, but the hallways and rooms are really, really old and used looking. The bathrooms look as though they're the original ones. We took two rooms (traveled with kids), and they were similar, so imagine that this is reflected across the other rooms. Continental breakfast was a croissant and Styrofoam cups with orange juice and/or coffee handed over the check-in window. The "breakfast room" is a single bistro table in a side office. The place has huge potential (location is excellent and the building -a house- is interesting). But it's a relic currently.
the staff, the room
For this price you wont get ma y b&bs with sich great location, within walking distance from the old city and port of Montreal. I stayed 4 nights and room was cleaned daily. The staff (Mr said or Samir) was very kind and helpful. Breakfast is symbolic you get 1 croissant with jam amd your juice with tea/coffee. But it's really good value for money. It's the best deal I found for a month of July amd I don't regret it.. It came cheaper amd better than air bnb for us.
The room is very very small. A large bed with barely any space to walk inside. Window doesn't open amd you can hear noise from the neighbouring room. The A/C is loud and you can also hear the engine amd water running from rooms nearby.
