Pickup and drop-off was a snap. Car was clean and in good shape. I will use Enterprise again for car rental

I booked my vehicle pick up for Ft Lauderdale airport My reservation was switched the Miami airport Without my knowledge No one would accommodate or help us I had to pay for a Uber to get to Miami airport to pick up our vehicle

Only thing i liked is that there was a guy who spoke spanish. Dislike: extra charge, no reservation at all. No cars available, more than 1 hr of waiting for a car, not for the car we reserved, etc

I rent 8 seats car, but they have no in stock when I go for pickup, not give me any solutions at the store, also customer service not solve the situation. I pay uber to pick up the car, and finally I have to pay uber again to go back to hotel without any car of enterprise. They ruined our family holidays.

Easy to rent, drop off was available in any Miami office free of charge, and they took the car 30 minutes before the office opened. Will rent again with them

There was no cars when I arrived. It said it had SUV. There were more appointments then cars available. I had to leave and take a car I didn’t want or reserved. The car was suppose to be detailed clean and was not. The only positive thing was that Obila, who took care of me, was professional and patient and tried very hard to provide me with a vehicle. It’s not there fault that the system kept saying there were cars when there weren’t any. It’s a computer mess ….

Poor service and did not call back to resolve an issue I had.

Friendly helpful staff at the counter with low wait time was a highlight. Less great was the lack of any knowledge about the car itself by the staff on the lot. I rented a tesla and it was my first time, and no one had a clue about how it worked or what the program was in terms of bringing it back charged. As a result, i brought it back 69% charged and got hit with a $35 fee. Had i charged i known i would have spent another $5 and charged it to 80% and avoided the fee.

The customer service by Alex was absolutely amazing… great job as he put my worries to rest fue to a missing document and how he was able to help find a solution.

The car was nice, but I got there early and asked to be rented early. Instead I waited around for one and a half hours because the car was being cleaned. When I got the car it was still dirty on the exterior. Besides that’s nice employees.

Poor customer care, wrong invoicing

I’d already had a bad experience with a different car rental company and Sixt, took total care of me.

We rented a car twice in Jan/Feb 2023 and were extremely pleased with the service we received. Apart from being super friendly and knowledgeable, Camilo impressed us by providing great recommendations for our upcoming round trips around Florida, making our experience truly amazing. The complimentary coffee and water and the free upgrade also added to this great experience. Car rental was very smooth from picking up to delivery. Customer service at its best. Thank you Camilo and Sixt!

I wasn’t even able to rent the car because my age didn’t qualify for the car that I wanted to rent and I haven’t gotten my prepaid refund back. Poor customer service!

The surcharge for refueling is outrageous, in addition after returning the vehicle I received an email about damages that they all of a sudden noticed. Save yourself the headache and rent elsewhere.

Sharle ( ?) who checked us in when we picked up the car was especially kind and efficient with a long line of people waiting for cars and the usual problems of lost items left in car, etc. She really kept her cool and remained helpful and kind to all. Well done!

It had hidden cost

All was pleasant and smooth. No long lines like Hertz and Avis.

Night before Thanksgiving, was to drive to family for Holiday. Personal car broke down. I rented online via Kayak and they wouldn't deliver a car until a 4 hour wait period. Then they told me that my license was unreadable (one digit was wearing thin, I have an image of the license and also DMV can verify, they wouldn't hear of it). My guess is they were looking for a reason to not rent me a car for such a low rate as I obtained on internet. I ended up walking up to Enterprise counter and renting directly. I'll never use these little companies again.

Asked and they did not provide a receipt, then charged me for unfilled gas tank..... BS

Perfect rent car

Has a flat tyre on the first day. Called customer service and roadside assistance. No answer.

The pickup agent tried to add in a few charges without even consulting us including the road assistance charges. Be sure to read the detailed charges before leaving

Everything, we had 4 cars within a 24hr period because of maintenance issues.

Everything was fine.

The attendant opened the office 30 minutes late. None of the customers present received the reserved vehicle. One of the patrons immediately returned the vehicle when she discovered car problems. Although I had reserved a minivan, the attendant told me that there were no minivans left. The vehicle that was given to me was filthy; it even had chewing gum in a few places on the back seats.

Do not book from this AViS their cars are dirty and have insects crawling around the vehicle. They smell moldy and the customer services does not help at all into getting your car replace. Avis you need to check more in your franchises they have very poor standard in their vehicle maintance.

Avis made it easy to get in a car and on our way quickly with no games and no hidden fees.

The car was never available and the rental company cancelled our reservation last minute. Don’t rent cars that aren’t available.

They wanted a $2,500 "Covid car rental shortage" security deposit last minute and would not let us rent the car without it. Do not use this business.

Paid some big bucks for tolls up front when only encountered one toll, after manager said there would be various tolls. BUT, didn't have to fillerup at the turn in!, a surprise, a good surprise !

The first car I rented smelled like urine and shook on the Highway. To Avis’ credit they changed out the car without any hassle and the second car was much better, My initial check in at Dadeland station was poor. The computer did not work so it made the process longer.

There could have been more workers behind the desk. I waited a long time to get my car.

Quick easy and good value.

The pickup counter was closed even though we called to verify they would be open when we arrived. We were routed to a different rental car company who didn't honor the car size we had reserved at the price point that was a part of our reservation. We will never use Payless again.

I booked a fill size sedan. They didn't have it readily available. They gave me a 4 year old SUV with 55k miles on it. Wheel balancing of the car was off. Everytime I would go above 40 mph the car started wobbling. At the return I was charged $30 for fuel services even when I filled up the tank. Had to go back to customer service to get that fixed.

Waited 1.5 hours in line for the Hertz counter at the Miami airport. Absolutely ridiculous after a long day of flying. Never again with Hertz.

Three hours in three consecutive lines to pick up reserved car. Stupidly smoked a cigarette in Miami traffic: $400 surcharge. Also charged for two days for 17-hour rental.

Great service, with everything as expected.

Picking up took way too long. Long line and short staffed. The staff was nice but overwhelmed. Seems like the process could be way quicker. Drop off was no problem at all.

Toll fee should have been charged at state actuals plus a small processing fee. That would promote repeat business. But levying a $10 fee for EACH transaction is exploitative.

I booked the car for off the cruise boat and asked for shuttle transport and was advised it was cancelled when I confirmed the booking earlier hertz did nothing to help and left me and my family of 7 in limbo for transportation extremely unsatisfied with the lack of communication and poor customer service!

Worst experience ever. Do not rent a car in that location; the manager is rude, and the employees are not helpful. I had to wait an hour to get my car.

I was told i could pick up car right by miami airport. taxi charges entailed $137 to pick up and dop off rental. i was also told id be reimbursed??? not yet??

I have a newer credit card that uses an 8-digit BIN number for verification (as many new credit cards do) instead of the older, 6-digit system. They could only verify using 6-digits, so they incorrectly thought my card was based in a different country and could not verify it using another method. I had to wait there for over an hour until my bank opened, and even with their verification, would not allow me to use that card. The employee was indifferent and kept telling me I was wrong and that my bank was based in Lebanon, despite the fact that I had the bank on the phone explaining to her that new credit cards use 8-digit BINs. Ultimately I had to use a debit card - it was a very frustrating experience.

Budget is a major rental agency located in the main car rental facility. This location had personnel that really pushed the extra charged options to the rental. They even added optional charges I said I wanted to decline. I had to go back to the counter to get the contract changed. Then I was charged a fuel surcharge at the end of the rental for returning the car with less gas than it had when I picked it up. This is impossible because I ended up driving the car only about 10 miles and put 1.5 gallons of gas in the car before returning it (the maximum amount of gas the car would take). Even at only 20 mpg I would have had to have driven the car 30 miles to consume that much gas. I was very disappointed.

I signed a contract for $68.58. I put in all the correct info, both with Kayak and Budget. Then I got an email from Budget saying my invoice was $425.24 because I dropped it off in Tampa (which I SAID I was going to do). I had the car for 5 hours. What a rip off. I'm going to fight it.

They have the worst customer service I ever Experienced I was treated horribly by their staff at the end of this nightmare, went to another place to rent a vehicle. Thanks for nothing budget.

Everything went very well, it was easy to pick up the van at Miami airport. No pushy upsell of insurance, tolls, pre-paid gas, etc. quick easy drop off. Great price for a 15 passenger van.

Had to wait an hour and a half for a car. It wasn’t clean. It needed maintenance. Was charged significantly higher than the reservation. When I called Thrifty about that, they said I had to deal with it at the airport. There was a line of more than 25 people at the airport & I had a flight to catch. Horrible experience.

We had to wait over 30 mins for them to bring car and that was after two complaints. They were wildly understaffed for the pick ups.

Check in was a bit slow with only 2 counter perons, but reasonable with no problems. The garage area attendent was on the ball. He came out of his kiosk, greeted me, took my folio and directed me to my car (Good job!) The car return was quick and smooth, and the agent was good too. The car itself had a couple of issues. The drivers side sun visor retaining clip was broken/missing and the visor kept wagging in the drivers face, and there was an error message on the rear perimeter sensor making the lane sensor system inoperative. It was a Volkswaggen Jetta and had a very harsh shifting transmission. I've rarely driven Volkwaggens, so I don't know if that was normal or not. Otherwise, the car drove well. It was a good ride, very smooth on the highway, etc..

First vehicle traveled 8 miles and broke down. Took eight hours for their emergency roadside to show up. They have several different phone numbers. Each time I called, the rep would give a new phone number promising that group will be able to assist. Each time, the new number would have the same exact phone prompts. I feel they used this in order to get off the call. The second vehicle also ended up having the check engine light come on too. The employees at the local rental center were very helpful, but there didn’t appear to be a direct number to reach the rental center so I had to take a Lyft to get there and get assistance.

We will never use Advantage again. We waited in line for two hours to pick up the car due to computer issues and slow agents. When we finally got the car, it had a musty smell. Rather than dealing with another wait time, we decided to buy Febreze to rid the car of the smell. After repeated applications, that worked. The windows were dirty. There was no windshield wiper fluid. Definitely not worth the savings. Stick to the major brands.

The drop off was the worst. Should have better signage to drop off the car as many people would have gotten lost due to poor signage

Pickup was pretty rough. There was one staff member, and a heck of a line. They are busy trying to upsell the rental itself, and then all of the add on options. The process takes entirely too long. Otherwise, I got a Nissan Altima for the Toyota Camry class (they are not the same), but I was so over it by the time I got my car, I was just happy to be on my way. From landing to driving out of the garage was a solid 2 hours.

Quick checkout at counter was great. Easy finding car and it was clean and exactly what we needed. Only issue was returning the car as it was a little confusing on what to do because no one was there. Had to park car and walk back all the way to the checkout shack to find someone to help me.

We are both drs and came to Miami for a medical conference. As soon as we got to the advantage counter representative advised us that kayak doesn’t know and doesn’t run our rentals. He was referring to free miles. Immediately he said that there are some miles are free the rest is 40-50 cents per mile. This was just a beginning. Than he requested utility bills. We don’t carry bills with us nor was this requirement on kayak website. We stood there for an hour and half trying to call different companies to get the copy. Internet service was lousy, reception was horrible. After an hour and half I received an email from Atlantic Broad Band, that was no good as per the manager she was looking for something else. My wife was on the phone with another company to try receive one more receipt but female manager said that mortgage is not acceptable. At that point, mind you an 1.5 hours later we understand that this company are crooks, I did raise my voice and I did say that I will call cops to straighten this situation. Luckily this is airport and we walked into the next door rental, without the reservation we were able with two items driver’s license and credit card to leave with a car with in minutes. NEVER AGAIN willl we come back to this lousy service crooked company. We are using kayak services for years, you don’t need to be associated with this type of reputation company. If anything they need to be shot down immediately. Thank you for the opportunity to vent

ALL THE INFORMATION (TELEPHONE NUMBER, AND THAT IT WAS OFF SITE) THAT CAME FROM WEBSITE I MADE RESERVATION, WERE INCORRECT. NO 24 HRS CUSTOMER SERVICE.. FLT WAS LATE AN CUSTOMER COUNTER WAS CLOSE.

We felt manipulated and cheated. A price of $40 was quoted and we wound up having to pay $120 since purchase of insurance was mandatory. Never again.

There are a lot of hidden fees with this company that are not clearly stated on the website. Be wary of a good deal!!!

Recommended. Extremely cost-benefit! All employees speak Spanish as well. Even though they always want to sell additional insurance

Paid for a specific class of vehicle (hybrid) and checked in, provided all information and was ready to pay when I was informed they only had a Nissan Sentra left. Obviously I know car rental companies don’t guarantee you’ll get the exact vehicle but if I booked for a hybrid that’s what I needed and I expected a hybrid vehicle of some kind. Waste of time and glad I didn’t pay ahead. They also asked for my insurance card and wanted to charged me an additional $90 for coverage which they stated was not optional. I’ve never been asked to show my insurance card when renting a vehicle before and typically additional coverage is optional.

The vehicle needed service just regular maintenance for example it needed an alignment it pulled to the left.

They force me to buy an extra Inssurance when I already had one. And it was late I couldn’t change it. They were about to close. I was not happy at all.

Terrible customer service. Charged us for insurance, gas, and tolls after I said I didn’t want it. Impossible to find someone to help us with it. Never again.

Rude reps. Over sold insurance when I already had my own insurance. Charged me extra $70 on an already agreed to an amount booking.

Experience was ok, however car was dirty and windshield cleaners didn't work properly, they were clearly worn out.
