Cons: Everything was generally great but if I was being picky 1 member of staff was rude at the information desk when we asked for help BUT he was no reflection on all other staff members who were fantastic and went out of their way to help. The Bar was great but the cocktails were too expensive, €20 is too much. If they reduced them to between €10 -€15 they would sell a lot more and the bar would be a lot more bustling.

Cons: Expensive breakfast (€27.50 per person) Expensive drinks at both bars and from the minibar. Room service has a €7 service charge on top of anything you request. Rooftop pool is difficult to get a bed as it’s so busy. Might be because it’s open to the public for €50 per day.

Pros: the rooms are very comfortable and clean and the beds are well. The whole Hotel is very very clean. The breakfast buffet is great, as of the amount as well as of the quality of the food. The Rooftop pool, bar and the all of the Rooftop are is great for relaxing, getting sun and go swimming. The Gym in the lower level of the Hotel is good and functional as well. The Hotel is located 1 and 5 minutes to two subway stations. that's perfect to get anywhere.

Cons: We loved everything about this hotel, but wished it was possible to open the bedroom windows to the street a little more, and not have to rely so much on air conditioning. Even though our room had many windows as we were on the corner of the building, there was only one small window that could be opened to let in fresh air from outside.

Cons: For Portugal the restaurant prices were on the high side, especially breakfast... which was otherwise very good indeed. Main gripe is the location which is way out of the centre of old Lisbon and a good 20-25 minute taxi ride. Even the hop on hop off bus stops were a fair walk on the heat of day during our stay.

Cons: When we arrived late we were put in a standard room when we’d paid for a deluxe room with balcony. When raised it was immediately acknowledged so was clear that you were already aware but we hadn’t been informed. This was corrected the next day but there was no furniture on the balcony and a couple of other things missing so we had to request those too, not ideal. Also no tea making facilities in room. We also didn’t get a copy of our bill on leaving which was strange.

There is a local supermarket close by for provisions. Our room was large and well equipped. Something we didn’t see on the website was a kettle for tea and coffee making but they were in the room as well as a fridge. Breakfast was very good, a whole range of fresh foods. We had a problem on our second morning when there was little food left but this was quickly rectified. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Lisbon.

Cons: The airport shuttle service: we booked the hotel because they had a shuttle to the airport. The shuttle bus providing the service is only for 8 people. So there was no shuttle available for my family, party of four(4), although I booked in advance. The hotel provides service between 7-11 AM, every 30 minutes, yet there was no slot that allowed us to benefit from the service because there was never a bus that had 4 places available together. In order to reserve a spot in he shuttle it would appear one needs to book at the same time they book hotel, provided its more that 24h before. It would have been a nice gesture if the hotel had organised a replacement for the service, such as a paid taxi.

Cons: The only thing we didn't like was the cost of the buffet breakfast. I don't eat much breakfast and asked if the buffet was the only choice (or could I order from a menu). I was told the buffet was the only choice. So we had breakfast and then were give a bill for 60 euros (for me and my husband), which we found very expensive, and would have perhaps chosen another option elsewhere had we known.
The hotel is conveniently located, only 5 minutes from the international airport by taxi and Campo Grande subway station is opposite the hotel. Just 15 minutes from city center by underground. The swimming pool was COLD. Even when I went during afternoon heat, it was very cold. Not sure if this is the usual temperature for this hotel. The bathroom didn't have a lock, which is annoying when you are travelling with kids as they can come inside when you are doing your business.

Pros: Staff was very professional. They spoke English very well. The pool was on 10 floor great for viewing. It was small but not crowded and very inviting. Kids loved it. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of everything.
Cons: The location is about 15 minuetes from area attractions. Parking deck was very tight and tough to park with a van and it was additional charge each day. :(

Cons: The hotel is old, built in 1989 and is in need of a refresh in terms of decor. But it is spotlessly clean. The food is basic.

Cons: The hotel is not right in the center but there is a tube station next to it and the Uber will cost you less then a fiver if you are lazy. It didn't bother us too much as it was quiet and transports are easy

Cons: The only thing I didn't like was when during the check out I was with one luggage and my husband in a wheelchair and there was no one to help to bring the luggage outside. There were 3 receptionists available at the counter and non of them offered help.

Cons: The bedrooms are old and dirty. Closets full of dust, floor with lots of hair. Super noisy. The hotel stays on the route of the airplanes and the bedrooms are not sound proof. Very hard do rest. The hotel needs renovation urgently. Definitely on the standards for a 5 star hotel.

Cons: The tea kettle was in need of a clean and leaked. While it is advertised as a hotel & spa, the spa is a separate entity & I was unable to connect or book appointments via phone or email prior to arrival. When I arrived, they were booked up. I specifically wanted a hotel with a spa, as I had been travelling for work for the summer and this was my first chance to take time for myself, so that was very disappointing. Future guests should note the hotel concierge cannot book appointments for you, the spa is located in close proximity but is not part of the hotel.
