Cons: Pool was closed, and while guests could use the Palazzo pools, half of these were closed as well, leaving basically one very small pool for thousands of people. As a result, the pool area was incredibly crowded. Also, Venetian casino was one of the most Smokey on the strip, making it hard to breath.

Pros: The bed was great. The room was well appointed, for a style that one can only hope will die off. Would I stay there again? Sure, but not if I was paying for it, and not if one of roughly 5 other hotels were available at the time.
Cons: It felt like the finest technology 2005 had to offer. The TV's looked pretty mediocre, and WiFi was spotty, at best. The walk to the room was also *really* far and very convoluted. If the Venezia tower didn't spit your right out at Bouchon for breakfast, that would be a deal breaker.
Little touches, like the plug strip that motor-rotated on the desk, are utterly pointless when basics (like the number of hangers in the room) are so poorly accounted for.
The biggest downside? The parking garage is an utter joke, with people taking *hours* to get their cars out. I had a rented car, but I just parked it and took taxis for the stay after sitting in one place for 15 minutes while trying to leave.

Cons: I didn’t like that the refrigerator use was an additional charge. We had medication that requires refrigeration, but did not want to be charged an additional fee; therefore we had to monitor it with ice☹️ They may want to think about a way to get guests checked in closer to the guest suites, it’s a long walk from the front entrance!!

Cons: The staff attitude, Not so clean room. The inconvenience of checking in. Front desk said they don't have the reservation from Kayak so I called Kayak and ask to send Venetian another copy of the reservation. However, Kayak's system was down on that day so they had to send it another way via email. The front desk basically told me the sales is going through mass emails and did not have time to look for my reservation that Kayak sent. Ridiculous.... If this is the way you treat guests then bye, I will not stay at this hotel anymore. I waited at the counter for at least 45 minutes trying to get this resolved and nothing can be done unless I pay the walk-in price (Way more expense!) and they will issue the refund once they received the reservation from Kayak. It's been 3 days and I still don't see the refund! This was probably my 10th time staying at this hotel and it was the worst.

Cons: Check in process is one of the WORST in Vegas. I am not sure if its their infrastructure, software or process but I waited in line for over an hour. What I also observed is the clerks have a book with pictures of the rooms and it seems like they are trying to up sell larger rooms. When you are dealing with a lot of foreign guests with a language barrier, this process takes significant time. Literally, some guests were at the desk for more than 15 minutes for check in process. I like hospitality but having long conversations explaining everything about the hotel and Las Vegas in general need to take place at the concierge. Not sure if I will subject myself to this again.
Beverage service in Casino very very very poor. Had 8 in our group at Black Jack table and could not get service. When I tried to go to the bar and BUY drinks, they would only sell one drink per person standing there at the bar. Dumbest thing I ever heard.
After remembering this, I am sure I will NOT subject myself to this again. No more Wynn for me.

Pros: My 1st time staying there. Very satisfied - rooms are large, clean and with modern amenities. Everything is controlled from a head unit next to the bed, convenient. Large number of drawers for things.

The room seemed very old and not up to date, which really isn’t that big of an issue, but when you’re paying luxury price you expect a luxury room. So if you can try to get something in the “Julius Tower”.

It was very close to the strip with NO SMOKING anywhere. We loved it. The beds were very comfortable.

Pros: Everything about this hotel was perfect! The staff gets a 10 from the front desk help to the breakfast crew in the morning. All were very courteous and attentive to give you any advice on how to get to the strip, the Hoover Dam, or what shows to go watch. We were greeted at 2 am by smiling faces and a bottle of water after the dreaded spirit airlines customer service the gesture of fresh water at 2 am just made my night. The hotel is very clean and maintained. The rooms were very nice and luxurious. The trip to the strip is 5 mins away. Why pay for resort fees and have to deal with all the noise and chaos when it is avoidable and makes your trip that much better just having time away from the sights and sounds. I highly recommend this hotel!

Cons: Room A/c was 7 degrees below what was set, after A/C guy came to room with directions, such as make sure handle was up on door....keep washcloth on top of thermostat?...and turn on fan when you leave room...nothing changed.
Fire alarm went off at 4am with loud recordings for the next 20 minutes, water on sinks in bathroom was messed up, and TV was searching for signal for probably a total of 6 hours in the week we were there.
Be prepared to spend a LOT of money on food anywhere in hotel.

Pros: I enjoyed the location of the Casino Royal. It was perfectly situated to all the major hotels. I was able to easily get to a couple of the larger hotels where my convention was being held. I also enjoyed the fact that an Outback Steakhouse restaurant was attached, and a Ben and Jerrys. The Outback Steakhouse provide a great menu and atmosphere for dining.
The room was very nice though small. However, it provided all that I needed to enjoy my stay: a fridge, keurig coffee/tea maker, counter space, desk etc. It was very clean too.

If they aren't going to have a good way to get into the hotel- they need to do a better job ensuring people can get taxis to go where they need to be.

Cons: THEY CHARGED US $50 FOR "AMENITIES FEES" at the checkout. It is outrageous that they charged for a spa and a gym that I never used.I went to the Rock n Roll half marathon, I just needed a room where I could sleep and rest. Westin was a sponsor of the race and it was VERY VERY disappointing that they don't include the fees from the beginning. Wrong marketing move.
-The Starbucks doesn't have oven nor toaster so they don't offer warm breakfast.

Cons: I booked a non-smoking King room. We checked in and I thought everything was fine. We got to our room and it had two double beds and no robes. No time to change rooms, as we were in town for a UFC Fight. Sleeping in double beds was not the ideal romantic getaway we had anticipated.

Cons: Lack a casino and food option is limited within the hotel. Bathroom tub had a tiny bit of rust and the shampoo, lotion, and body wash was not that great. So I would recommend bringing your own.

Points. Was also told since it was a 3rd party booking that I wouldn't get the room that I thought I was booking. I paid an extra fee to book a king size suite, staff told me that usually we get the standard room which had 2 double beds. I showed him reservation that showed a king size bed and he finally changed his tune and accommodated us. Being a SPG member apparently got us nothing since I didn't book they them personally!

Cons: The staff was rude. I literally had someone flick there wrist at me to tell me to go away when I went to the counter to ask a question. When I got into the hotel to check in I had no idea how to use the machine and had a couple questions and the lady acted as though I was an inconvenience. Her job was literally to help people at the kiosks I was at so I’m not sure what her problem was. Other than that elevators were dirty, the same trash I saw that morning was still there when I got back late at night.

We stayed in a room overlooking the pool...the pool DJ started blasting music at 9:30 am on a Saturday morning....don't they know that people stay up late or even all night and could use some quiet time to sleep in?
The parking structure exit is one lane...meaning there's always a really long line of frustrated people trying to get out of the garage.
The floor plan of the hotel and parking garage is ridiculously confusing...everywhere you walk, people are lost and frustrated.

The bathroom sink did not work properly and squirted out toward us multiple times. We always bumped into the center table by the couch. Although the room is very large, we felt cramped by the couch area. Only one bathrobe of the two was plush material.

Cons: Things I cannot control. Drive up access to the lobby is a challenge and somewhat of a logistical issue. Speed bumps are horrible but understandable. Smoke. A fact of gambling. People can openly smoke throughout the casino (years prior there was a dedicated area for smokers.) Nothing here is an unexpected detraction.

Cons: We travel all the time. Our family stays in many different hotels. I feel we were misled on price. What they offered online was a great price. When we arrived taxes , resort fees and parking fees were all added on top of the total that was given online. Turned out to be double... :( Then made it worse when we arrived at our room finding it to be dirty with stained carpet, and out dated furniture from the 90's. Also food was very exspensive. I wish there would've been more of a selection offered.

Cons: Charges for internet beyond 2 connected devices, does not work when a family checks in. At check-in, I was told the resort fee included 2 devices, and then found 2 day’s of charges. I had to speak with front desk, and they did drop the charges - just extra hassle. Also at check-in, I was asked about foregoing housekeeping for a $30 room credit. At check out, fond that after foregoing housekeeping we still were charged $29 for the coffe charged to the room. Still working on that credit. No microwave, no mini-fridge, open shower.

Pros: The location is great and walking distance to a lot of the best stuff on the strip, the pool party was really fun, the room was clean and had modern furnishings with lots of outlets/USB charging ports, the housekeeping staff was very friendly, and overall very satisfied with our stay there.

Pros: Officially my favorite hotel on the strip... I wanted to try a different hotel an du just say I definitely noticed the difference... Yes atypical casino but I didn't feel bombarded or suffocated. Maybe I got lucky. My room was perfection (sure a few random Knicks and bruises around but no to be upset about...) The view was stunning. (had the high roller view) and the staff was friendly. Perfect location to. The stripand surrounding hotels... The monorail was super convenient not hard to get to. I will for sure be staying here more, if. The price permits. Reasonably priced parking also made me appreciate it more. Thank you.

Pros: Location of the resort is perfect. In the thick of it all. Stayed in one of their newly renovated rooms. Decor was sharp and clean. The tv was a huge 55’ flat screen. The check out was quick and easy when done on the television. Their casino itself is a good size. Variety of different slots and table games were good. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows.

Pros:
Cons: Rooms were a bit run down, electrical outlets were not in great working condition, and the switches on the lamps didn’t work well. Water pressure in the shower was extremely low. There was a hole in the wall behind the door and near the couch. Room needs a renovation. Beds were comfortable, but a little more lighting would be good. Layout of the king room was good.

Cons: When trying to check in on the 5th of July, their computers were down, but no one was coming around to explain why the line was so long and why it was taking so long. When I was checking in, I asked should I start checking out now, since it took almost 2 hours to check in. The lady said I could check out via the television in our room. Tried that the next morning at 0900 and that didn’t work either. Had to get in line again to check out. The computers were working, but they didn’t have enough staff to assist the customers checking in or out. This was my first time in Las Vegas and the Flamingo. It will also be my last. Some advice, get more customer service representatives and train them to actually assist their customers. I had just drove in from San Diego, I and my family were tired and this was not what we were expecting. I am sure there were many other customers who felt like we did.

Cons: I made my registration through booking.com/KAYAK, paid $800+ and apparently booking.com only paid the Flamingo $300, so the hotel made me pay the remaining balance that I had already paid to the booking site. Not their fault, but I feel the hotel could be more helpful in securing their payment from the site, instead of inconveniencing the customer by making them pay twice.

Pros: Great location, room was nice, good shopping.
Cons: View of a wall outside our window. Reserved a king non smoking, got two double beds. The line was so long at the front desk that it wasn’t worth going down and complaining. So we just dealt with it. The time share salesmen hound you every time you go through the lobby. It got old. The pool is very nice but closes at five.

Cons: It was 75 degrees in my room and would not get colder. I called the front desk and they said they would send someone to fix it, that person never came. It was cooler in the hallway than in my room. Very uncomfortable considering it was above 105 degrees my entire time in Vegas. I paid for a different room on Sunday and it had better air. Still disappointed in the overall quality of stay.

Cons: The bathroom was in need of some deep cleaning in the shower. n. The bathroom shower needed to be cleaned a bit better. The bottom grout was in need of some of some bleach. Was a little surprised that almost every I walked down the hallway and the cleaning staff was making there rounds at least one of them was on their phone text or something. The towels were a bit rough on the skin.

Cons: You could feel the springs in the bed, the first room the heater smelled like rotting eggs, and over all the room looked worn down and old like 80's old like 40years worth of people staying there old. Also when we went to switch rooms the front desk had us bring down all our bags and then only moved us over down the hall from our original room. Felt rude

Cons: While the listing made it seem as though there was wifi available in the rooms, it came at the exorbitant rate of a $10 surcharge per day.
When I talked to the shift manager about this and noted where my booking sheet said wifi was included in the room, she spent some time looking at her computer. I thought she might be trying to find if she could do something about it, maybe give one free day as a gesture.
Nope, she was just bringing up the fine print at the bottom of the listing. She smugly showed it to me and that was that. No effort made to perhaps try to address a customer's disappointment, the way customer service used to be.
I wouldn't recommend this place.

Cons: The location is pretty close to the convention center but because there are quite a few abandoned buildings in between with homeless people all around - I didn't feel safe walking there. There is no hotel shuttle and the hotel front desk said it would probably be $10 for a taxi one way - so I had the unexpected additional expense of a rental car. The lobby is outdated; the carpet in the hallway outside the elevator is torn and shabby-looking; the entry to the pool is odd, shared with the parking lot, and not appealing at all. And Wi-fi was not included with the room.

Cons: Rooms are out dated, dirty furniture, no maid service (at least they did not make up my room), no amenities on the premises what so ever. Seems to be some kind of time share operation with very bad up keep. Air conditioning would not go below 72 degrees. At US$ 165 a night very bad value!!!

In fact, you will be pleasantly surprised by the kitchen and living area which are rarely found in discount motels. Finally, the location is perfect if you are attending something at the convention center, which is a short 5-10 minute walk. (Depending on how fast you walk) If you are in Vegas for an extended period, they even offer monthly rates.

The rooms have adjoining rooms. The door between the rooms is hollow, so you hear everything from the other room.
Someone set off the fire alarm one night and I nearly jumped out of the bed. It shrieked for about 5 minutes until they turned it off.
Not a restful stay.

I don't know what others were expecting...if their expectations were that high..then they should pay the hundreds of dollars more and go there. Cons: Kitchen unit without a single pot, pan, utensil, etc. - pretty useless feature. Lukewarm water in the shower. Front desk and breakfast guard staff is rude and unfriendly. They charge a big resort fee and there's not a 'resort' amenity there. No pool, hot tub, nothing. No book in the unit showing where icemakers are, etc. Bartender is very nice; food is just barely average and very overpriced.

In fact, you will be pleasantly surprised by the kitchen and living area which are rarely found in discount motels. Cons: The bedroom is rather small and the beds BARELY fit in the room. It takes a bit of gymnastics to get to the far end of the bed. If you don't mind crawling (or falling) into bed from the foot end, this isn't an issue.

Cons: The bathroom wasn't as clean as one would hope... Work on cleaning the toilet a bit better. Also fix the latch lock on the door so a guest can tell if someone had busted down the door or not.

Cons: The vending machines were all mostly out of order. At least the three I saw on the way to my room. The WiFi access was shoddy, the chances of you getting good WiFi is really low. The floors of the hotel are strangely never flat, there are ups and downs making it difficult to not trip. There is a resort fee that was charged even though the "resort" i.e. swimming pool was closed.

Cons: Wifi was very slow, small stain on one of the sheets, cramped bedroom. Wouldn't have been the best room to spend a significant amount of time in, but for spending the majority of the days at the convention center and using the room primarily for sleep it was fine.
