Pros: The room was large and beautifully appointed. All amenities were available. The beds were very comfortable and temperature control was easy.
Cons: Bathrooms are small and plumbing is worn but nice looking and fits the room. The biggest problem I had was two mornings( plus a third I didn't tell staff about) when I couldn't get hot water to the shower. In one case it was a boiler problem and the other two I don't know but possibly regulator plumbing at the shower itself. The staff are exceptional and offered a room upgrade but only on the last evening of my staff so I stayed where I was.
I would try this place again because of the kindness and the responsiveness of staff and if going to the theatre.

Cons: Terrible customer service and management. Was misinformed a multitude of times by management. There was no food at the hotel past 10pm. We were informed we would have a free shuttle to the airport then paid 65$

Cons: The walls were paper thin and the door to the room was not closed tight enough to not shake and bang anytime another door was opened or closed on our floor. It kept my girlfriend and I up all night long, I finally called the front desk around 3 am and was told all they could do was extend my checkout by an hour... The free breakfast in the morning was alright but I was too tired to actually enjoy any of it. Room 501 was the loudest room I've ever slept in.

Pros: We liked basically everything about this hotel and wish it had been more than a qiuick overnight stay. It was a special birthday trip for me, and I had chocolate strawberries, Prosecco, and a lovely little chocolate cake upon arrival. Our suite was large with a very comfortable bed and huge sofa. Great overall vibe. Our friends had a small but well-apportioned corner room with windows on two full sides and an amazing 20th floor view. Staff was friendly and helpful and bar was comfortable with good drinks. We did not have the opportunity to try the restaurant, but will next time. Great location.

Cons: The air was not working in the bedroom part of the suite and we weren't the only guests with that issue this has been an issue before and I see it still hasn't been corrected. The only other thing I was disappointed with is the size of the pool.

Being associated with the Hilton, i definitely expected a metal knife and fork and a proper plate. I cant imagine anything gets recycled as everything just got dumped in the bin. We were told someone sorts through it, but im sure it costs more for someone to scrape all the food off and sort, than a dishwasher would. It would be nice to be told before hand, that there is a £50 a night per person, surcharge for damages taken. Which after 3 days i still havent got back.

Cons: The rooms need some repairs. The building is on the older side. For example, I had a drawer handle fall off when I was trying to open it and battery for the safe was dead. The hotel is located next to some self storage and night clubs so it didn’t feel particularly safe and walkable in the area. Downtown Houston is also not a particularly great area at night (except for the ballpark and a few great restaurants).

Pros: The TV in my room kept going in and out during the World Series game. They sent up a maintenance person and he fixed it for a while but then it stopped working. The hotel manager moved me to a different room. The manager's name is Maggie. She was/ and is outstanding. Every time I returned to the hotel she greeted me by name. The hotel as well as the staff made for an outstanding visit to Houston.

Cons: Getting my car from the valet took a long time each time. Breakfast was really low standard and not inviting at all... very few options and you have to order them and pay for them at the reception!!!

Cons: Yes. The bathroom has two "rooms" - the front room: sink and mirror. The toilet/shower is separated by a door but there's only one light switch. So if someone wants to go to the shower/toilet area (at night) the light from the sink area is next to the bed

Cons: I asked for a new room because my room had a window that faced a building. The building was no more than 3ft away so I asked for a new room and the staff was very rude about it. They were unable to switch rooms or give me a refund.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and the location was close to our intended destination and nice restaurants.
Cons: The breakfast offerings were mediocre and the pool was out of service in 100 degree weather. This was one of the primary reasons that we selected to stay at this particular facility. We were very disappointed as we had planned to spend one of our entire vacation days lounging by the pool.

Cons: Multiple brands (Spring Hill Suites, Courtyard, and Residence Inn) in a single building was confusing, mainly because they each have their own check-in desks but those desks don't have big signs behind them making it clear which hotel's desk you're at.
