8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff is really very helpful and warm willing to assist every time. Very clean with morning and evening room clean service.
Cons: Buffet was good but boring after a couple of days. The tv system is really outdated, the programs dont fit the screen size and the picture quality is very poor. A bit expensive for what it offers.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was great, the location, great ambiance, welcoming and professional staff. Nice breakfast with variety of options from local to international cuisine. I loved the sauna and steam room and late access to gym and pool... until 10pm
Cons: The room is a bit smaller and the TV was not LED with limited channels. No value for money for this reason
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff were friendly. Food was good. Hotel was clean.
Cons: Bathroom was older. Had a shower curtain. Bed was a bit hard. Staff were friendly, but the restaurant is extremely slow, especially given that this hotel is in thr business district.

Pros: The bed was great and the breakfast is very good. I loved the location and while the gym is a little cramped it has all the equipment you need and is in good shape. Staff was very friendly and supportive. Outdoor restaurant was great.
Cons: WIFI could be more consistent and the TV system could be better, weak sound and fuzzy channels.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing and super friendly staff, the service at Karambezi Café also improved a lot since the last time I visited. I was allowed a late checkout which I was very thankful for. Very clean hotel, very safe, beautiful pool area. I will definitely be back.
Cons: The bathroom was a bit smelly, and is also a bit outdated. The A/C is quite noisy. Service at the pool could be better, the staff there does not seem as happy as at Karambezi. Menu of Karambezi is ok, but not great, a lot of fried stuff. And, I don't like it when staff are actively after tips. You get a tip if you give good service, but don't ask for it please! It happened 3 times during 6 days (reception, pool and housekeeping).
7.0 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast,location,and cleaning was perfect
Cons: Everything was fine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff made sure everything was on point. Location is great and front desk staff always smiling and willing to give more info about the area.
Cons: The prices for Dinner and Lunch are slightly on the upper side, but i can safely say I was satisfied with my stay, and Double Tree Hilton is my number 1 choice when I am visiting Dar.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hilton ticked every box for us during our stay. The staff were AMAZING from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Breakfast and the staff there were in a league of their own, they couldn't do enough for us, very accommodating. Location was ideal. Will always stay at the Hilton from now on when i'm in Dar Es Salaam. The benchmark has been set by the Hilton.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The ambience, room was big and I loved the balcony
Cons: Waiters were very slow
5.0 Okay
Pros: The waterfront is beautiful and the food is good
Cons: The bathroom sink was clogged it took forever for water to go through the sewage. The bed lights were not working on one side. Generally there was not enough light in the room, it was quite dim in the evening. There was q constant bumming noise and I haven't figured out the source. It was on all night long - even when I switched off the AC and lights everywhere. The food is good, but the staff in restaurants is super slow and not very attentive. For instance a lot of time tables would not be cleaned, even if there were new customers. In fact our table was cleaned a few times only after we asked the waiter. You have to also ask for napkins - which is quite basic - and to get them also takes forever. Also we ordered cocktails and that was lunch time and there was barely any one else except for us. And that took them 30 minutes to bring the cocktails. The pool is tiny and there is really no direct access to the beach.

Cons: Telephone in room no 711 not working. Staff was not cooperative
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The shower
Cons: The elevator takes too long, and if you dont have your room key then getting access to it is a bit of a struggle. But I guess it's a security measure. All in all good comfy place.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast and dinner were tasty. Breakfast was free and dinner reasonable at $11/adult buffet. Room was small, but updated facilities.
Cons: Now that we stayed at a few places throughout Tanzania - this was most overrated. We spent too much at Ramada ($160/night. - our A/C was so weak. We complained, they ‘fixed’ but it still wasn’t blowing enough air. Feel hotel was ripping us off - taxi ride hotel coordinated was $40. And then the 5minute drive to ferry station the hotel staff charged was $20. Now that I know - download Uber!! Airport ride should have been $10-20 and ferry $2!! Location is nothing special . Nothing nearby walking distance. Find another place with better value within same star rating.

Pros: Their breakfast is a joke! Out of words to describe this place!
Cons: 1.Breakfast was terrible! If you ever wanna try bony chicken nuggets, undercooked buns and spoilt fruits for breakfast, you're most welcome to lodge at Greenlight Hotel! 2. They threw us out of the room at exactly 10 a.m and made us wait for our ride outside with our luggage. That was by far the most humiliating experience I've ever had in a hotel! Couldn't even allow us late check out by a few minutes! Pathetic! 3. Would you ever go back to a hotel that would deny you an iron?! This place is something else!

8.8 Excellent

Pros: The hotel was beautiful and in a good location. The spa was great and having the variety of restaurants was a plus.
Cons: Overall, the staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating. However, the evening staff (primarily the hostess and server) at The Palm Brasserie on Sunday, December 1 (around 0730) were unfriendly and rude. The host threw my menu on the table after I asked for one. We didn't receive our food, nor did I receive my ginger tea. The server stated he was waiting on my food before bringing my tea. I understand the food takes time to cook, however communication is key. We left without eating to catch a flight back to the United States.

9.0 Excellent

Cons: More variety of fresh fruit. Decaf coffee.

Pros: Well run hotel, small but nice room, garden in association with outside seating area, and view to adjacent botanical Garden. Food was fine. Placement quite convenient in Dar
Cons: The amount of prostitutes in the restaurant, was occasionally "puzzling". Although they did not bother me (I was with my wife), and generally seemed very discreet, I still don't understand why management tolerates it, as it might dissuade customers, including me if I'm alone, to stay in the future.
