Pros: The Langham is a great place to stay, it is handy to everything in Kowloon. The Star Ferry, Symphony of Lights, shopping and MTR is all within easy walking distance. The Hotel is immaculately presented, the staff can't do enough for you and the pool is the icing on the cake. I stayed here for 5 nights and loved every minute of it.

Cons: The hotel in general is getting old, rooms are small compare to newer hotels and the mable bathroom is getting dated. It's just the harbour view and the location which makes this hotel perfect... but there is definitely some 'up to date' work to do.!

Cons: Staff were rude. They couldn't find my reservation. Waited 45 minutes for them to sort out the problem (their reservation system did not like I booked the hotel 3 hours before I arrived). They could have at least offered a drink or snack or something instead of making me stand around waiting for them to sort out the problem.

Pros: The room's sea-view was the best. Room was very comfortable. Could have more decorations. It looked a bit impersonal. The staff at the reception (Leo) and restaurants were very polite and attentive. Restaurants and food were very good.
Cons: -The waiter (bartender) who served us in the bar downstairs (which is a very nice bar with an impressive collection of whisky) was a little arrogant. -Due to the unrest in HK, I suggest reception should advise customers if the protests are to be held in the close vicinity of the hotel. Coming out seeing the riot police preparing was not a pleasant thing. Later on (we heard that peaceful protests were previously announced, so the hotel staff could have been warned us) clashes between protestants and police happened in that area (also involving tear gas).

The basin was too low for washing (2) The second day after the room cleaning of room 765, 2 women’s underwear were found (3) room 755 had bloodstain on the beige bed underskirt. (4) only one elevator worked as the other one under maintenance- major waits and inconvenience as had to wait a couple of trips due to it being full (5) cockroach in the elevator near the pool (6) the green clean room special only offered $50 hkd on the buffet... nothing else.

Pros: This hotel is very well situated in Wanchai. It is just moments walk from the MTR and easy to get a taxi as well. It is not a luxury hotel by any means, but it clean and relatively comfortable. If nightlife is in your plans, you are at "ground zero" for the club scene in WC. Staff is efficient if not overly warm. I have stayed at this hotel and for me it always depends on the price. If I get the room at a good rate, I will stay, if not there are other hotels in the area that are more competitive.

Pros: This hotel is very well situated in Wanchai. It is just moments walk from the MTR and easy to get a taxi as well. It is not a luxury hotel by any means, but it clean and relatively comfortable. If nightlife is in your plans, you are at "ground zero" for the club scene in WC. Staff is efficient if not overly warm. I have stayed at this hotel and for me it always depends on the price. If I get the room at a good rate, I will stay, if not there are other hotels in the area that are more competitive.
Cons: When I first stayed here 8 years ago, the hotel was showing signs of wear, now it is firmly planted in the "dated" range. The pubic areas are fine, but the rooms could use a make over. Again, it all depends on the room rate as far as value goes.

Cons: My booking was supposedly "Low rate - no money back", so I thought I had booked the room at a good deal. The room was also apparently "harbour facing", so I was really looking forward to the legendary new year fireworks. But alas, towards the check-in date the website started to offer lower rates at 61% discount. At check-in, we were given a room on level 15 - it overlooks some dirty buildings and rooftops, and we could barely see the harbour. For the price I paid, I expected more.

Cons: Bed was a bit hard, colour schemes are a bit garish and bathroom could have smelled sweeter! But really at this price you can’t complain

Pros: The location was excellent, walkable distance from nice places and close to the metro stop
Cons: I did not like the fact that the pool was closed for the winter period, while this was not advertised while booking. Besides, the wifi was very bad in the rooms.

Pros: The quality and price ratio is good.
Cons: I did not like the size of the room. I also didn't like the shower at all. Very hard to use. We were on the 27th floor and it took about 15 minutes to go downstairs from pressing the call button to being on the ground level. Very inconvenient.
