Nice hotel hidden off the within the Hong Kong island.
The location is a couple of stops from the hustle and bustle areas of Hong Kong. It's acceptable for every form of transportation. The tram and bus run in front of the hotel. The HKG airport bus is located diagonally across the street. The MTR station entrance is two blocks away but the walk to the actual MTR train after entering the station is about 9 minutes walk so allow yourself some extra travel time. The Tramway and bus that runs in front will take you to most parts of Hong Kong.
It is not in the heart of the financial district or center of actions of Hong Kong which translate to a quieter neighborhood. It's not for people looking for the lifestyle of Mong Kok, Lan Guai Fong or Central.
Very near of Financial District
Almost 10 years of furnitures
Close to public transportation.
Smelled of cigarette smoke. When we told the front desk they said to allow the air to circulate. The smell never went away. Could have been cleaner.
Great for a short trip
Very affordable prices and upscale Best Western hotel. The staff were extremely courteous and were able to get us a few snacks late at night.. There is also a bag check area for those who may spend the day in the city before departure etc. Very good hotel.
Nothing really, it exceeded expectations.
The room size were nice and big
The bed was too hard, most light bulbs in my room didn't work, small ahower
Location of the hotel is not so good ,though you can see the harbour but the view is blocked by tall towers in front.overall a good experience of stay but could be better in terms of friendliness of staff.
bed is not comfortable, quilt too thin
it's far from city. but, the facilities are good. I could get on the bus to go to the international airport in front of the hotel.
The air-con was too cold even I adjusted the temperature to 25 degrees. Besides, guys at the front desk were rude and not fluent in English though the girls were cheerful.
The housekeeping lady is helpful.
The room is too cold because it is central air control
The room was very clean and silent and it had everything needed for a week's holiday. The bed was a bit hard but very good to sleep in. The bathroom was big enough and clean.
We payed for a harbour wiew suite, but we got a small room with a "backyard" wiew first. We complained and the staff found us another room with the things we had payed for. In the situation, the staff was friendly and willing to find a room suitable for us from higher floors. The staff, including cleaning personal, were friendly.
close to tram and bus stops
temp. in rooms were to low and you cant change it
Convenience, long term pricing
No heat - the room was cold - the heat blew nothing but cold air even at 30C
I received a free upgrade to a suite, the suite was excellent, very spacious by hong kong standards.
When leaving the hotel arranged a taxi for me, I asked for a taxi to the airport express station but the hotel staff told the driver to take me to the aiport, I ended up having to go through the tunnel and heading to Kowloon.
Really big rooms for Hong Kong. Great value for that money.
