Pros: We are often travelers and it was not our first stay in Adina. We was disappointed last time with breakfast but this time it felt much more better organised and felt like stuff is trying to make costumers feel welcome.
Cons: It was too crowded at breakfast and there was no place to sit. We was offered to wait at bar till some table will become available. Stuff could have offered atleast coffee while we waite but it was understandable that they was too busy.

Cons: I had a non refundable booking for 3 nights. Unfortunately our son got sick, we changed our flights and had to leave at Sunday 18:00 instead of Tuesday noon. I understand that hotel policy is no refunds. However after several discussions with managers and reservations department I understood that noone is interested in keeping us satisfied. I’m sure that if hotel would refund at least one night it would not be a disaster for them but it would give me great customer experience! But hotel have chosen to follow your rules. Well it is you right. But I doubt that I will ever choose this hotel again.

Cons: The air conditioning wasn't working so the room was uncomfortably hot during the night. We couldn't leave the window open during the night as it opened towards the noisy street. We raised the issue with reception but there was no solution provided to us.

Cons: Breakfast. As usually or just by accident Adina struggling with good breakfast service. Can't understand is it incompetence of stuff or something else. They don't have good system of checking breakfast booking, so you may be disturbed several times by different personnel to confirm you actually have breakfast vouchers. If you arrive late, there can be nothing refilled and you need to ask for everything. Pancake machine was not working one day but there was no replacement with anything else, so kids was disappointed. Vanilla Yogurt was not available and coffee machine has weird smell. Smelled like old milk, they need to pay more attention to clean milk container. For longer stay probably would suggest skipping the breakfast and use REWE grocery store. They heave fresh baked bread, fruits and all necessary for filling up fridge in room...

And of course, starting from the very first minute of the stay we experienced the attention and care of people, who work in this magnificent hotel. Pros: I have celiacs disease, they were really good at catering for this, a huge basket of gluten free breads, cereals and cakes turned up at breakfast and I was walked through which items on the buffet were gluten free, which included the nuremberger sausages.
Add to this that the service is truly 5*, not always the case in 5* hotels, the high ceilings in the rooms, the pool, gym, sauna, gf steak tartare for supper, the view of the Alster at breakfast, it really can't be improved on.
AND most importantly all of the staff, without exception, were friendly, helpful and went the extra distance to make sure you really felt looked after.

Cons: The beds were rather on the harder side, which I don't personally like. The pillows weren't supportive, and that's something I care for. At some point I heard a knocking on the door from the cleaning staff, and even though I called out, they still entered. That happened a second time while I was in the shower.

Pros: I'm traveling a lot for work worldwide but this was the most stunning hotel at all! The hotel is completely new and very modern. It was an old tower with a cave in it and they built a hotel inside the tower. Very quiet and relaxing. When you enter the hotel, they built like an underwater, under the ocean entrance with fish and water sound, all blue with automatic stairs leading you to the reception. Incredible experience!!! The hotel has a cave restaurant and bar, a beautiful fitness studio and sauna for free. The breakfast is exceptional!! Many different kinds of bread, fish, sausages, warm and cold vegetables, fish, pancakes, fruits, fruit salad, many yogurts, cerials. A beautiful capuccino machine. Everything you can think of you will find for breakfast.

Cons: Limited number of servers at breakfast so most mornings getting coffee at the table was slow. Taxis needs to be ordered at the front desk. One morning I had to wait 30 minutes for taxi to arrive. This was not the hotel's fault but just more a caution that taxis do not circulate this area (unlike at other hotels I have stayed at where taxis are waiting outside). Limited English TV channels.

Cons: I have stayed at the Radisson a few times over the past year for business. My main observation is that the service/quality has dropped. Check in was efficient and I was given a room on the same floor as the business class rooms and for a standard room it had a very nice view (20th floor). I recently became a VIP member of a frequent traveler program and it was only after I checked in and received an email from them asking if I had been informed about my VIP benefits that I realized that maybe my room assignment was partly because of that benefit and they had forgotten to inform me. However upon check out when I asked if my food and beverage had been discounted as per my membership benefits, I had to provide the email as “evidence”. On top of that the discount only applied to meals at the restaurant but not breakfast or minibar drinks. Other things to note: value for money is not as good. For example, many other hotels now have nespresso coffee machines as standard in their rooms. Here it only is available if you book a business class room. Rooms are clean but the bathrooms need upgrading. Breakfast used to have an egg station but that has now gone, although there is a good selection for breakfast items, it is expensive compared to other hotels in money vs selection. Finally there is a significant amount of construction around the area. During my previous stays, taxis were waiting outside the hotel during the mornings but now it seems like they only come through the area for drop off at the train station. I had to wait 20 minutes one morning to get a taxi from there.

Pros: The hotel room was great for the price and we could store our luggage as we were there early. The bus stop is right down the street. There is a huge grocery store called Real about 3 blocks away which was excellent! Great fast food kiosks and anything you need from socks to groceries in the store and inexpensive!

Cons: The hotel smelt quite badly of sewers and some of the rooms of sick, mine (thank god) didn't, it was quite a way out from anywhere and the local bus station was like a scene from the "Walking Dead" and was full of crack heads

Cons: - small king-size bed - when checked-in room floor had rubbish on it - bad room organization (very small with a column in a middle of a room, just 1 bed shelf, sockets in places not convenient for using them, no fridge) - constant bad smell in a room/bathroom - very dark room (see a photo)

Cons: Can not change German culture regarding air conditioning- but since there was not one in the room,the only way for fresh air was to open the windows.
However, it is on a major street, and near a set of train tracks (in use), so it got generally pretty loud at times.
Additionally, there was at least one night that persons were smoking on the sidewalk...

Cons: Not much going on locally but the metro station is just round the corner so it’s not a problem, metro runs regularly 24 hours. Rooms weren’t cleaned daily but for a budget this didn’t bother me.
