Cons: Too far from city center. But there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel that will bring you to a metro station. There's no light in the shower, so a bit dark but no problem just weird.

Pros: Parking on site, underground and easy enough for me to get to as a UK driver was a godsend. 20 mins in a taxi to Hamburg, I got here late and didn't want to have to figure out the train system so that was also very cool. Hotel arranged taxi for me and it was a piece of cake getting one back. Trains are supposedly very easy, and ten mins away walking confirmed by Google maps. Breakfast was fine, orderly and the staff were helpful. Only stayed one night, but was very peaceful in the evening and the room was as you'd expect for the price range, perfectly fine, no issues, exactly what you would get in the UK for the same money. Good base for a short trip to Hamburg if you'd rather stay out of the city.

Cons: Area felt a bit run down, didn't properly explore, but what I saw suggested not a huge amount to see and do, that said my main purpose was to visit Hamburg on a road trip to Sweden so I only stayed one night so I can't claim to be an authority on this. Hotel itself was fine though.

Cons: The toilet and the bath both only had a turning towel thing, I would have much preferred actual paper towels. The internet was heavily restricted. Only TCP traffic on ports 80, 443 and 8080 were allowed through, as far as I could tell. I'd recommend a VPN than can communicate under these restrictions so you can do more than just surfing the web. Unless that is all you want to do, in which case this is fine.
