Hamburg hotels near Criminal Dinner

Pros: Very modern rooms (2016) with high quality furniture and intelligent design with lots of room for all the luggage. Superior location at the Reeperbahn.

Pros: Clean, interesting and cosy area close to a window. Everything is good except issues i wrote above. We didn't book breakfast, so i cannot say anything about food. Location is good, close to everything in a centre, and St. Pauli area, where it's, is interesting as well

Cons: I didn't like that there were no wardrobe and flipflops, no body locion and no hair conditioner in bathrooms. No free water in rooms. 4 stars hotels, is it? These items could be, must be. It's easy, and in my mind if a hotel pretend to be eco-friendly, it shouldn't have plastic bags for laundry, these must be fabric ot made of recycled plastic.

Cons: The single beds making up the double bed could have been wider.

Pros: There is a parking garage under the hotel and it was very comfortable to leave the car and take the elevator.

Pros: The hotel is located at the Elbphilharmonie.

Pros: We received an upgrade. The room was incredibly spacious and the views across the Elbe were astonishing.

Pros: We got a complimentary upgrade to a room with a view of the city harbor area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great bathroom facilities. Breakfast was fantastic as well, good variety. Amazing value for your money, and great location as well.

Cons: The lifts were a bit confusing at first, you have to go to the lobby and then walk to a different lift to get out. There was a 15 minute wait time for breakfast on the first day, even though there were unoccupied tables.

Pros: My room wasnt ready until 3 pm but lovely lady in reception let me check in earlier as I flew all that night so needed sleep so was great to get the room a bit earlier.

Cons: Hotel itself was lovely. Clean rooms. Lovely bar. However street area hotel is situated on is really unsafe. I felt very uneasy walkin up the street. Is a pity as hotel itself is lovely but locality is not.

Pros: Rooms were clean and bathroom ok despite the broken seal on the shower glass

Cons: The guest next door had dogs in the room . When she left , the dogs constantly barked and whines for hours , as well as scratching the door to get out . It took multiple complaints before the hotel mgmt would do anything about it . Eventually they did , but only after threatening to call animal welfare

Pros: Room cleaned. On 3rd and 4th day breakfast offered after I personally asked as compensation for the first night .

Cons: If you manage a hotel you cannot think about only to profit. Guest management policy to improve. We had first flight delay and eventually cancelled at the boarding for technical problem. I called the hotel right away to show our complete good faith and asking, even partial, price reduction for the night we didn't stay since we arrived the following day. We asked the same once again when we got there showing emails of air company, but nothing everyone we talked to told us we had to talk with someone else. I expected to be contacted by the manager/supervisor after 3 time bring up my requests at the reception. Eventually We've been told there were no chance to have price reduction even partially for the night we didn't stay. On the checkout day, 4 hours after the checkout I asked if perhaps my headphones had been found in my room. At first moment they told me: usually when room keeper find something they contact us right away. Meanwhile I had to go to the airport, and i received a called an hour later, while boarding telling me that my headphones were there ad asked me my credit card number for shipping (20euro) Obviously I refused. The cost of shipping did not worth the headphone value.

Pros: Forgot my adapter but the front desk staff provided me with a spare

Pros: the hotel is only 10 minutes for the station. It’s ideally placed for to explore the city, 10-15 minute saunter to the main shopping area. Clean, friendly and reasonably priced

Cons: We had booked 2 rooms requesting connected doors. Though they did give us those rooms, one of the rooms 483 had a large wet spot on the carpet - soggy wet. The housekeeping and other staff pretended they knew nothing about it. Being a rainy weekend we didn’t want to stay in a wet room so asked to kindly change. We had just checked in so hadn’t used anything in that room. They offered us one room on another floor which we declined as wanted to stay together aS a family. On suggesting to be shifted to a suite they said the whole hotel was 100% booked including every room and every suite! More than anything the person who came to talk to us - after numerous phone calls - had attitude from and was bordering on rudeness. Needless to say all this caused us a lot of stress and we decided to go to Four Seasons next time

Pros: I have celiacs disease, they were really good at catering for this, a huge basket of gluten free breads, cereals and cakes turned up at breakfast and I was walked through which items on the buffet were gluten free, which included the nuremberger sausages. Add to this that the service is truly 5*, not always the case in 5* hotels, the high ceilings in the rooms, the pool, gym, sauna, gf steak tartare for supper, the view of the Alster at breakfast, it really can't be improved on. AND most importantly all of the staff, without exception, were friendly, helpful and went the extra distance to make sure you really felt looked after.

Cons: Hotel needs a lot of work and updating . Lobby carpeting very shabby and dirty. Rooms were not at all attractive and had a musty odor. I would give this hotel 3 Stars definitely this is not a 5 Star hotel.

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, hotel combines historical and modern. Close to many restaurants and shopping. Big armed Bus stops in front of hotel.

Cons: I accept that I had a room which was on special, and assume has not been refurbished. The bathroom was perfectly fine but the bedroom was slightly dated. Torn curtains, old carpets. One large blanket would have been better. Bathroom robes should be standard.

Pros: The Hotel Atlantic Kempinski Hamburg is one of the Classic Hotels with a history of over 100 years. Great location, great value of money, kind staff, extrimely clean roon, free internet at the business center.We will always go back.

Cons: When visiting the hotel by car, the several roadworks and one-way streets arount the hotel make the journey more arduous than necessary.

Cons: Room absolutely not five-star-quality. Were sent to wrong floor to find room. Were charged for breakfast even though included in price - will be refunded. Cleaning started before leaving the room in due time before 12.

Cons: We booked the room with the breakfast buffet on your website, but at the hotel we were told the price exclude the breakfast. We were surprised and upset!!! We also had not any slippers in the room.

Pros: A great hotel, conveniently located for all amenities.

Cons: Only got 3 English speaking channels which were all news channels unless you paid at least 20 Euro's for the other channels.

Pros: Perfect location for site seeing. We were able to walk everywhere and the train to the airport is 2 blocks away. Pool & sauna were fantastic and free for hotel guests. Beautifully appointed rooms and bathrooms.

Pros: Great location in a nice part of Hamburg. The staff was very professional and helpful in assisting with recommendations and making guests feel welcomed. Particularly Katherine at the front desk, who was very polite and taking time to discuss options.

Pros: Rooms really cozy! Bed fantastic! Spa is really plessant and not at all crowded. Great cocktails in lobby bar. And breakfast was SPLENDID! Great variety of food. Neighbourhood really calm, but a few steps from city centre.

Cons: Breakfast a bit to crowded but it was handled really well. Unfortunately very rude staff on the last day, she just wasnt feeling well, but that just sometimes happens. Big DISLIKE for unsafe lights in the bathroom! Very easy to reach or touch and it wasnt secured! Should be changed asap...
