Cons: A couple interactions with the staff were clumsy, stale and robotic: not what you expect from a hotel this beautiful. Also on check out day, in both of our rooms we had housekeeping ring the bell at 9am to clean? then a bit later again, to install a rollaway? for the next guests?

Pros: Breakfast was 18 euro each so we made our own in the kitchen in the room which is fully stocked, cooker rings, fridge and combination microwave cooker plus dishwasher. We were there for a cycling event so chose this place so we could have breakfast before we started out. Excellent location for the city, nice bar area. Very secure area and spotlessly clean. Reception staff are very helpful and seem to know where everything in the city is. Gym is OK as long as no one else is in it, same with the pool.

Cons: We specifically selected this hotel because it had AC , unfortunately when we went to the room the AC was very hot. We called the reception couple of time to come and have a look at it , they came after calling them the third time and the guy who came said that he could not do anything about it but he will repot it and we had to wait till the following morning for their technician to have a look, no one came the following morning nor the day after ! It was a very unpleasant stay because of the hot weather and broken AC ! We were occupying 2 rooms and both rooms were the same , when my father went to the front desk in the middle of the night asking to check out they offered him another room , but it had the same problem with the AC! Eventually the front desk guy told my father that the AC needs maintenance and it was not done apparently !

Cons: In the bar they would not bring tap-water - even as an addition to other, pricier, drinks. The barman implied I was tight, saying 'you don't want to pay for water' but I dislike the ecological effect of purchasing plastic bottles, or a heavy glass bottle which has been transported when there is perfect water in the tap anyway. Coming from a hotel which sees itself as eco-conscious this was disappointing.

Add to this that the service is truly 5*, not always the case in 5* hotels, the high ceilings in the rooms, the pool, gym, sauna, gf steak tartare for supper, the view of the Alster at breakfast, it really can't be improved on.
AND most importantly all of the staff, without exception, were friendly, helpful and went the extra distance to make sure you really felt looked after.

Pros: Loved the old world opulence and attention to detail. Fabulous products in the bathroom and super comfortable beds. It has been a bucket list item of mine to stay at the Atlantic Kempinski and I was not disappointed!
Cons: We found the serving staff at breakfast to be a little inattentive and experienced long waits where there were plenty of staff milling around and no-one prepared to assist with orders initially. It did improve but for a 5star establishment, this was a bit slack.

Pros: I have celiacs disease, they were really good at catering for this, a huge basket of gluten free breads, cereals and cakes turned up at breakfast and I was walked through which items on the buffet were gluten free, which included the nuremberger sausages.
Add to this that the service is truly 5*, not always the case in 5* hotels, the high ceilings in the rooms, the pool, gym, sauna, gf steak tartare for supper, the view of the Alster at breakfast, it really can't be improved on.
AND most importantly all of the staff, without exception, were friendly, helpful and went the extra distance to make sure you really felt looked after.

Our suite ( 6305 ) was very spacious, the bathroom had a beautiful marble floor , bathtub and big shower. The bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of light thanks to a wall of windows overlooking the town hall. Breakfast included everything you could possibly imagine, plus more ! An entire side of the hotel ( reception area and cool bar ) is right on a canal. There is a bus stop ( and a sightseeing bus stop, too ) right outside the front entrance. The hotel is in a silent street with little traffic notwithstanding its super central location. Highly recommended, indeed.

It is centrally located, all the main attractions are reachable on foot and if you're in the mood for shopping just hop over the bridge and you are in the middle of a fairytale. The room we booked was very spacious, it overlooked the river and it had a very comfortable bed. The hotel facilities are great and the breakfast was amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and they offered us a prolonged check out without the additional charge. We loved our stay and would definitely book this hotel again.

Cons: The worst hotel I’ve ever been , first people : I booked 2 night my flight was delayed and I arrived in the second night they took for 2 nights ! I asked him I just arrive because the Airline delayed something out of my control ! They refused and charged me for two night also they charged me parking car for two night note that I stayed only one night! I asked them to give me upgrade instead of refund ! They also refused. Second problem: the smell of the room was to bad ! And the smell of the bed is to bad also! I asked them to change the room because of the smell they refused ! Then I ask them to change the bed they do it after 3 hours !!! Third problem is: three of thier staff enter my room without any permission and of them is knock the door and laugh! It seem unprofessional hotel it is 2 star!!!! When I asked the supervisor he told me write your review he doesn't care !

Cons: The room was not as nice as what I had booked on booking.com. I explained it on my arrival but all I got as an answer was that they would change the picture on booking. The room was fine but a little old fashioned, old carpet floor and a shower with curtain. No nespresso machine in the room. Breakfast was good but the room where it is served far too small for all the people wanting to enjoy breakfast at the hotel and therefore a little stressful although waiters were friendly.

Pros: The location was excellent! We appreciate how one staff member helped us with an inconvenience when we arrive at the hotel.
Cons: The service, we needed a big transfer since we were a family of 5 and with more than 10 luggage in total (carry-on and suitcase each) and the staff and the Concierge told us to take more than three taxis to go to the airport. I insisted if it wasn’t possible to arrange another type of transfer and the answer was no, I arrange it myself at the end. The room, each time I came into the room there was an odor of cigarette. I called reception and told me that they could spray some deodorant to solve it, the room service lady came and told “I can’t do anything about it”. At the end there wasn’t a solution for this. We had to stayed in two rooms and in one of them the A/C stopped working. My dad reclaimed and the gave us a ventilator for the whole room. In my opinion to be a Marriott they could have done more, don’t even mention that it was summer and the outside temprano was more than 28-29C. When my dad saw the ventilator he went to reception and said something like “sorry, but that’s the best solution since we are fully booked”. After talking and arguing with reception they offer us a -20% discount for a night because of the inconvenience. At the end they gave us -20% off for the whole stay (for one room). The food, the room service wasn’t good neither delicious but it was just “ok”. We were expecting a Marriott standard hotel, but it was just “another” hotel.

Cons: I have stayed at the Radisson a few times over the past year for business. My main observation is that the service/quality has dropped. Check in was efficient and I was given a room on the same floor as the business class rooms and for a standard room it had a very nice view (20th floor). I recently became a VIP member of a frequent traveler program and it was only after I checked in and received an email from them asking if I had been informed about my VIP benefits that I realized that maybe my room assignment was partly because of that benefit and they had forgotten to inform me. However upon check out when I asked if my food and beverage had been discounted as per my membership benefits, I had to provide the email as “evidence”. On top of that the discount only applied to meals at the restaurant but not breakfast or minibar drinks. Other things to note: value for money is not as good. For example, many other hotels now have nespresso coffee machines as standard in their rooms. Here it only is available if you book a business class room. Rooms are clean but the bathrooms need upgrading. Breakfast used to have an egg station but that has now gone, although there is a good selection for breakfast items, it is expensive compared to other hotels in money vs selection. Finally there is a significant amount of construction around the area. During my previous stays, taxis were waiting outside the hotel during the mornings but now it seems like they only come through the area for drop off at the train station. I had to wait 20 minutes one morning to get a taxi from there.

Cons: I booked this hotel for my 65 year old mother as a brithday trip . She seemed Halley with The hotel and although the staff were very polite they management of the booking was terrible . I called and asked to pay for the room and the refused unless I send a photo of my card via email . Reluctantly I sent this with a form 5 times from 2 different emails. Instead on arrival they asked my mother to pay for her own birthday gift instead of calling me back to take payment as promised ! Then on the last day of her stay at check out , they seemed to have finally noticed my emails and charged my card as well and told her they would refund her . At no point did anyone even contact me to advice me of this 3 days later . On top , my mother’s charger lead stopped working , there were no shops open in a Sunday to buy a new one . The hotel did not have a spare lead for her to charge her phone .i would have expected better than this from a 5 star hotel in Germany . The hotel was fine . But the poor organisation causes a lot of worry and stress that could have been avoided

Cons: There was a dead insect on the ceiling. It could have been up there for a year. And the pillows were dreadful. Flat and soft. I asked for a third pillow and it was delivered to me, but it was as flat and useless as the other two. Germans may like those pillows, but foreigners/Westerners prefer a firmer cushion under their head. Also, the temperature in the shower fluctuated and was not constant. That is always annoying.

The hotel is presented a a 5 stars hotel but in my opinion it isn't. Breskfast was excelent.

Cons: There was no kettle or coffee maker and I always make coffee while getting dressed. Also there was no shampoo and conditioner. As a business woman I struggle to keep my different liquids within the bag for carry-on and appreciate when they are offered. I don't like using the same body wash on my hair. Lastly, the toilet in my room had a leftover poo in it and it stank up the bathroom. Took me a lot of flushes with the same hand, shampoo, body wash mixture to get rid of the odor

Cons: The heating/cooling thermostat in my room did not work properly, and though I asked for it to be fixed, it wasn’t. I didn’t like that the room did not have a kettle and coffee/tea. No gym. The thing I did not like most was that they charged my credit card not in Euros without asking me if I wanted the conversion. Made a difference of €20!

Cons: This is not a 4 star hotel. It is basic. Room was very hot. We told the reception and they 'repaired' the heating the following day. Of course, this didn't work and, as a result, we had to sleep with the window opened. Other guest that I met (we were at the same conference) said that she was sofocated in the room. Difficult to sleep under these conditions. Staff was correct but not friendly. Only one coffee shop near the hotel (law school) . We suggest that rooms have a kettle, tea and coffee facilities.

Cons: The rooms had everything we could need, including a great view. Unfortunately we couldn't get the room cool enough to sleep comfortably either with the window open or air con on. The minibar was well stocked and good value. However the glasses were never washed properly and just rinsing is not sufficient after juice or beer.
