Picking up away from the airport to save moneyPros:We chose to take a half hour uber ride to pick up our car in order to save some money. Here is what I learned: At a more remote site, despite being promised a small four-door car, all they had were pick- up trucks and a fiat. There would have been many more choices at the airport. We started with the fiat and had to go back and swap the next day because the storage area in a fiat will accommodate a toothbrush and not much more. They tried to charge me for an upgrade, but backed down very easily without me getting angry, and we drove a very comfortable minivan for the duration of our trip.Reviewed 28 Sep 2016

Pros:Nothing! I called the downtown Seattle company after realizing that Kayak sent me here when I put in Seattle airport pick up.. I was told the best way to get to them was take the light rail to University district and then uber over to their office. Ok! So I took light rail which took about 50 minutes and then proceeded to get an uber which took another 40 minutes because none were available. When I finally arrived at the Enterprise office it was exactly 3:03. They close at 3:00. The young lady looked out the door at me standing there sobbing dragging a suitcase and turned off the lights and walked out the door. No comment....no concern......Nothing. I then spent another 30 minutes getting another uber and sitting on the curb crying. By the time I got where I needed to go I was over an hour late and missed seeing my son whom I have not seen in 2 years!Cons:Just about everything. If I go shopping on Kayak and say I want to pick up a car at the Seattle airport PLEASE don't send me shopping at a rental agency that is miles away from the airport without placing that information clearly at the top.Reviewed 8 Sep 2020

Not as good as hopedPros:The check out was efficient. No time delayed!!Cons:The service from the Seattle international airport Enterprise pick up was poor!!! Even-though I was the one who made the mistake of booking to pick up at the wrong Enterprise location, the associate could not provide any help on how to get to the actually location I mis-booked. " Take a taxi" that was what she told me... but there were no taxi waiting place... and it was my first time visiting Seattle with a anticipation of a fun trip... so all went wrong from my first day arriving already, what a bummer. In the end, I had to take a bus back to the airport and from there take a link-rail to the other Enterprise location. The service was better at the other location and my mood became better after that. I have to say the service from the Enterprise airport pick up location was beyond POOR!!!Reviewed 28 Mar 2017

Pros:When I arrived at the desk I asked the first person I spoke with why I could not drop the car in Oak Harbor. Her response was "I don't know, maybe it's closed." Then when I gave her my debit card she said I couldn't pay with a debit card because I had a one way reservation. I thought she mean't my flight was one way, not the car rental. I was already upset about the answer to my Oak Harbor question and slapped my credit card on the counter. She refused to continue the reservation process with my because of my "attitude" and made me step aside. I was eventually taken care of by another person who honored my request to return the car to Oak Harbor (where I was going) instead of Burlington, 45 minutes away).Cons:I had to travel because my daughter is in the hospital, my son-in-law is being deployed overseas by the Navy, and I am here to take care of my six year old grandson. Service personnel need social emotional training to recognize when customers nerves are frayed and cut them some slack. I had a perfectly legitimate question and the first person treated me rudely, setting up a bad situation.Reviewed 20 Nov 2020

Using Hotwire almost ruined our vacation!Pros:Enterprise was FANTASTIC! Hotwire almost ruined our vacation.Cons:I requested to rent a car at the airport. I didn't notice the final offer was for a car located in the downtown area, many miles away. The women at the desk was able to honor our rate at the airport with increased tax, but it took almost 30-minutes. While we were there several other people arrived at the rental counter with the same issue. This isn't an isolated event. I will be VERY hesitant to rent or purchase anything from Hotwire going forward. Without the help of the Enterprise desk people, help they did not have to give us, we would have needed to take a taxi to and from the airport.Reviewed 15 Oct 2018

customer service was really greatPros:The Enterprise pick-up and drop-off is extremely convenient. I arrived late at the airport and took a taxi to my airbnb. When I needed a car the next day, I was able to make a reservation online in just a few minutes. I called later to make a change in plans and the telephone customer service person was quick and pleasant and gave me all the necessary information. The next morning I was picked up promptly and was able to complete the rental paperwork right then and there and the driver waited for his associate to pick him up while I drove away happily. When I returned the car, they took me to the train to catch a ride back to the airport immediately. It was great, car was rented at a very good price and I was impressed.Reviewed 5 Dec 2018

Great service except the reserved class of car wasn't available.Pros:The staff on pickup was great and the drop-off was very easy. When the expected class of car wasn't available, they offered a couple of reasonable options and worked with what they had. Overall this rental worked well for our needs, if not quite ideally.Cons:We reserved a full-size for a week+ driving trip that included city and country driving. We needed luggage space, comfort, and good mileage to stay on-budget, and nothing too big for parking in odd city spots. No full-size was available, and the staff kindly offered an SUV, which would have given us some more comfort and luggage space but would've been a nightmare on city parking and milage. We went with a smaller option (and a discount), which was louder and had only barely enough cargo space. Worked well enough, but on the comfort I wish the type of car we reserved (well in advance) had been available.Reviewed 25 Apr 2017

Very nice servicePros:I reserved a rental car in Enterprise in Seattle. When I got out from my cruise ship and took a shuttle bus to the downtown Enterprise, I realized that I might head to a different Enterprise branch where I did not reserve a car. In fact, this downtown Enterprise originally did not accept drop-off car in a difference place. After the bus driver talked to the supervisor of the downtown Enterprise, I was promised to be OK to have a rental car in the downtown Enterprise in Seattle and return it to the Oregon Airport. I received an exceptional service and had a very happy experience. Thanks to Enterprise. Alex in St. LouisReviewed 1 Sep 2016

Cons:Made a rental car reservation for SeaTac Airport. Went to SeaTac counter and they couldn't find reservation until I mentioned it was thru Kayak. Ah, they said - happens all the time. They make reservations at a location near airport but not with the Airport Shuttle. Granted, the price would have been lower off site due to steep taxes but they didn't make it clear it was off site. Would have needed to call for shuttle OR walk to location. They were kind enough to provide a Seattle address...just not one that a normal airport traveler would be expecting. Nothing else.Reviewed 17 Mar 2017

Cons:Systems were down. No one was able to tell me what shuttle to take to get to our rental. You need to have a paper system when your computer go down.Reviewed 30 May 2017
