Cons: The bathroom needs more privacy. Especially when staying with a group of friends.

Cons: Housekeeping was irregular in room cleaning services. Most of the days room was not done all day and I had to call for service after returning to room in evening. Bathrobes were not provided in room, which are pretty standard in hotels of this class.

Cons: Water was brown because of some work being done. Only has Valet parking. No free wifi

Cons: I wish there had been charging outlets on the long desk/counter.

Cons: Room doors close very loudly and the noise woke me up mornings.

Cons: The noise was more than a bit bothersome

Cons: The additional 30.00 for one night parking.

Cons: This was our second attempt at The Arcade and both times we have requested a bath tub and paid an uncharge for a room with a view. Both times the view that we upgraded to was a concrete wall 6 feet from the window. They moved us to a room with an actual view this time at least, but the room was just cleanish and had no bath. We actually think that this may be the room where employees take breaks as the table had pretty clearly had drinks on it not long before we arrived and the TV was on. If they charged $100 or even $150 for rooms here, it would be fine. In fact, it would be good. For $360 a night though, we were really expecting something more than a few steps above a Holiday Inn.

Cons: First stay was perfect. Great room, extremely comfortable bed, and perfect view of 4th St., cannot complain. Second stay....room was dated, carpet appeared to have water damage, bed was old with ruts and was extremely stiff. Called to ask possibly change rooms and were shot down. I understand hotels fill up fast, especially during big events in downtown Cleveland. However, don't ask me my room preference through email four months in advance and again at the front desk when your going to ignore or know you have no intentions of accommodating a single preference. Just be honest and up front about availability.

Cons: Very few "extras" provided without cost.

Cons: The valet service people seemed really confused about what was going on when I pulled up. At one point during my stay I ordered some room service items and they just never came. The bed I slept in had no sheets on the mattress, which was super weird. I also discovered blood on the mattress. Pretty weird!

Cons: Because it is an older building, it did have a bit of a musty smell and the air circulation in the room was not that great. Also they serve breakfast in the arcade and it is noisy and woke us up in the morning.

Cons: Parking

Cons: Dirty, dirty, dirty...stained carpets, broken tiles, torn upholstery on furniture, moldy shower curtain - GROSS!

Cons: Furniture and decorations were a little dated. Same with the electronics.

Cons: had to pay to park, was requested to put a 100 hold on my card at check in, they did drop it to 50, but all the website said was a card would have to be on file, nothing about a hold. The shops inside were all abandoned. Only a few open. $4 water offered in room. no fridge

Cons: Staff was a bit harried, not helpful when it came to directions. The 90 East is closed right now, making it a challenge to get in and out of there with GPS. Difficult but not impossible. Staff did not seem to know about this and were not a good source of information for alternative directions.

Cons: No room service.

Cons: There was mold growing on the ceiling of my room's bathroom and when I came back to the room on my second day, a house-cleaning person had left a torn rag on my bathroom sink.

Cons: Ice only on even floors

Cons: Would be nice if the parking rate were either included or more reasonable

Cons: No easy access to evening meals. Price of daily parking.

Cons: First...Parking. Granted, I'm used to downtown areas, but I had no idea that the only parking options here were private surface lots and garages, or paying for hotel valet parking. I guess I'm just used to a hotel parking garage or lot of some sort with permitted or validated parking. On the plus side, the valet rate I was charged was a flat $24 for the entire stay. Not terrible. I didn't go in and out, just walked where I needed to go for the most part. Second...The staff. For the most part they were friendly, but I arrived in the very early AM and the night attendant almost seemed like they would rather not deal with checking me in (sorry--our system is in the middle of an update...You're going to have to wait 15 minutes before I can check you in). Third...Overall condition of the property. Not bad, but definitely shows signs of wear and tear and could use a good refresh. Fourth...The room. It was a nice enough room, but was equipped as an accessible room with an adjoining room, neither of which I had asked for. The bench in the shower could not be completely moved out of the way, leaving the only options to either fold it down and use it or deal with it leaning out from the wall slightly. A clip to keep it folded against the wall would have been helpful. Finally...Noise. It should have tipped me off when one of the amenities in the bathroom was a set of earplugs. I was given no warning about this. Things were quiet...at first...until sirens started blaring overnight at street level down below. I was clear up on the 6th floor and could still hear them. The last night I was there (remember the adjoining room I mentioned) the group in the adjoining room was either very loud, or this set of adjoining doors had the worst noise isolation characteristics in the world. Probably a combination of both. I finally had to call the front desk and ask them to send someone up. I hate to be "that guy" but this Hampton really let me down overall.

Cons: Valet parking only, which was misleading and costly. Put into an ADA accessible room for no reason, with horrible pillows and a shower far too short for me. ASKED FOR A QUIET ROOM. Put me across from the elevators, ice machine, staff lounge, and maintenance room in a handicap room for no reason, when a better room was available at the end of the hall. We stayed in the better room the second night only because I tweeted my dissatisfaction and the PR department called to make sure I was changed.

Cons: The frown on the front desk lady, she wasn't nice at all. The night one

Cons: there was nothing I didn't like.

Cons: Very noisy hallways and guests being aloud to play loud music and party all night right next to our room

Cons: Did not make up room second day during my stay. Returned to room late afternoon to find no clean towels when we wanted to shower. Front desk said they were behind on laundry and they would run towels up as soon as they could. It was not long after that towels arrived, but to be 5pm and not have made up rooms with fresh towels falls below expectation. Shortly after towels arrived, we were asked if we wanted room service. Late in the evening to be offering, but at least they were checking still.

Cons: No room service and breakfast buffet was inadequate for the number of guests, they ran out of food and the wait was ridiculous

Cons: No parking. On the description of the hotel, it did not state that there was a valet service only to park you car and that this service costs an extra $20 per night, per vehicle.

Cons: very nice hotel the stay in and the breakfast are very good ,I will stay here again when I come back in Ohio.best place to stay in Cleveland.

Cons: Breakfast. The food was good but at 10:00 they shut the doors. There were people still in getting food and they closed them in and started taking stuff away. I understand having a cut-off but at least let people finish getting their food before you close the doors and lock them out. I spoke with a woman that works at another Hampton and had never seen something like this. That was the only dislike we had.

Cons: Not having breakfast included in the price

Cons: The cost of valet. Also mark from valet insisted I had to pay him separately before he would run to get my car.

Cons: To get our room cleaned we had to ask specifically for it...2 separate times. There were wet towels molding in the floor before we got someone to come clean.

Cons: There wasn’t a mini-fridge in the room, which I thought was standard

Cons: Failed to honor 3 pm check-in. Attempted to pre-check-in at 1 pm. Room was not ready, which was okay. They would not do a pre-check-in either. They promised to call me when room was ready. No one called. At 3 pm, I went back to hotel to check-in. The front desk had me sit around in the lobby for 30 minutes as they checked on my room. Just to tell me the my room was not ready. I said I thought check-in was at 3 pm. The front desk attendant stated check-in was sometime after 3 pm. Huh? Anyways, I was not able to check-in until after 5:30. Meanwhile, I saw people check-in at 1 pm and from 3 to 3:30 pm. My room was a simple single with 2 double beds. You would it was the only deluxe master jacuzzi suite in the hotel where the VIP guest requested late checkout.

Cons: Small TV

Cons: Shower had very low pressure. TV remote did not work and was stuck on the Hotel Movie Preview channel. Was trying to check local weather before going for a walk before a game but remote did not work, and there were no change channel buttons on the TV itself.

Cons: We had to wait online forever to get into our room. They only had one lady checking in reservations and customers were definitely getting erritated.

Cons: Pool was cold. Room was hot. Hot tub out of order. Two elevators out of order. Very frustrating.

Cons: I got put on hold every time I called downstairs. The late evening desk staff was not exactly friendly. The place was threadbare.

Cons: Breakfast "buffet" was never replenished when food ran out. Never any plates or silverwear. For $15 a person I should be able to get as much food as I want. I was seated by the employee hangout hole in the dining room where I had the pleasure of listening to them complain about customers. Staff needs fired. Also checking out was a joke. They claimed they had no record of us being in that room rather someone else by a different name. Hire some employees with brains and manners.

Cons: Most of the hotel smelled like bleach. While I appreciate the cleanliness, the smell was overwhelming. The biggest issue I had was the wifi. I like to use my iPad before bed but the wifi was so poor and so slow I didn't have the chance. Also, you have to pay for using over 510 KB, which is kind of ridiculous. The breakfast bar is a total rip off, the food is stale and dry and flavorless. Skip this and grab something to eat at the grocery store down the block. Finally, the staff seems really uninterested in making you feel welcome. The waitresses at the breakfast bar were more concerned with their phones, and the front desk was rather cold.

Cons: Nothing. everything was great!

Cons: I just wish the room had a fridge and/or a minibar. The coffeemaker also didn't work very well & leaked half the water out. Not a big deal as there were coffee shops nearby.

Cons: Beautiful day in March and the temperature was unseasonably warm. The hotel had no air and no fans. No refrigerators or microwaves. Room had food under armchair. No desk chair. Never going back,!!!!

Cons: Bedding had stains on it, full-length mirror looked like someone had poured coffee down the bottom of it, stains on everything- carpet, ironing board, comforter. No in-room fridge, room service closed early (only have it until 11pm, but no one answered the phone even before that at 10:50 pm). Staff was courteous, location was great; but completely unimpressed with the cleanliness of our room (or lack thereof).

Cons: Woke up in the shiffering as the temperature had dropped a lot, and the blankets were pretty thin. In fairness I should have looked for the thermostat before going to sleep but i was surprised how cold it got in a few hours. Still a good hotel choice though.

Cons: We had no hand towels, wash cloths, or shower floor mat. One of the bath room bulbs was out. The floor had crumbs from the list visitor and the room had to tv cabinet stand but only 1 tv. The room was also missing a mini fridge and microwave.

Cons: Please add fabric softener to your sheets! And the light by the room better wasn't working.

Cons: I am a Gold Level SPG member. This got me nada. No welcoming gift, no upgrade, no internet access, no late check out, nothing. I have been treated much better at other Westin's.

Cons: I'm a stickler for good service and the Westin did exactly what they were required to, but nothing more. For example, I asked for a fruit platter & champagne to be put in the room. It was my husband's birthday and it sucked we were stuck in a hotel after a business trip, so I wanted to make it a bit more exciting. Most the fruit was fine, but they didn't pick out the moldy grapes and shriveled berries. There were two glasses for coffee, but provided only one cup serving of grounds. The bag of coffee itself couldn't be opened easily, and since we were traveling, we had no sharp objects. The vanity mirror was broken. Little stuff adds up and I was overall disappointed for a $250+ night.

Cons: Valet left my vehicle dirty. Valet manager was incompetent and rude. All of the staff were rude.

Cons: The attached restaurant is very expensive--if you're traveling on a budget, you're going to have to walk a few blocks to find something cheaper.

Cons: The valet service was horrible. The wait was long yet tolerable because of the westin's staff and pleasantness. The valet staff had 8 people standing around the podium (not moving or running any cars) sitting there cursing in front of guests during a verbal argument- very off-putting.

Cons: No breakfast included with stay. No garbage can in bathroom or recycling in room period.

Cons: I did not like how this place was not soundproof - you could hear everything in the room next door.

Cons: Hotel was probably sold out for NCAA tournament, they did not staff the hotel properly. 2 working elevators for 20+ floors after a Thursday night game, plus they closed the bar/restaurant as people returned from the game. Check-in was slow on a Thursdsy, room not ready until after 4:30. Staff were nice, just not enough of them.

Cons: lacking microwave in room, option to request one was not mentioned by the staff; learned about option by default as we were checking out...

Cons: Furniture a bit scuffed.

Cons: it was loud, the sink was clogged and barely drained, the shower had horribly low water pressure, and the shampoo dispenser didn't work

Cons: Missing a little of the elegance of the other historical CLE hotels. Cab or shuttle ride to the Casino or East 4'th.

Cons: The yellow stains on the linens. Other stains on the furniture I am hoping were not bodily fluids. The thermostat for the a/c did not work, and after an hour, I figured out how to manually turn it on. Not a very professional establishment. Checking into the front desk was like buying a ticket to a funhiuse.

Cons: No complimentary breakfast at this location.

Cons: When I got drunk I forgot which elevator bank went to my room and which went to the parking garage. I guess you can't fault the hotel for that.

Cons: The only thing I did not like was the party vibe that the hotel seemed to support. Their W XYZ bar stayed open until 2 am and guests returning from their adventures out or at the bar were very noisy returning to their rooms. This is not really the hotel's fault, but guests obviously felt like they could be loud and disruptive after a night of partying, and I think this speaks to the hotel's atmosphere.

Cons: It was next to the Amtrak track, and so was a little more noisy than expected. Bit since I normally wear earplugs to sleep anyway, it wasn't really an issue. Also, there was no dresser, just a small closet, which might be a bigger issue for someone staying more than one night, but wasn't a huge issue for us.

Cons: The Aloft might have been better for a businessperson looking to make a quick stop in town. The room was very, very small, and the train (our room was on the opposite side of the building, away from the train and overlooking the courtyard/office building) shook the room. All in all, it was ok--but I think we could have had a better experience for what we paid.

Cons: The pillows had a make up stain on them when we showed up. Tlake to a guest acrsss the hall from us and his room was dirty as well. It was so load at night. The bathroom doors are sliding barn doors and you can hear other rooms using the bathroom all night. We will not be back at this hotel

Could also hear the people in the next room coughing up a lung through the bathroom vent...not a pleasant sound first thing in the morning but obviously not the hotels fault!

Cons: We booked a king sized room. We were given a queen sized room and told that the hotel was sold out.

Cons: Only 1 choice for breakfast, all you can eat for about $12. Tried to get a drink at the bar after an Indians gamed on a Sat. night, only 1 person working the bar and no waitresses. The bar was mostly full, but we sat at a table. Asked for a wine list at the bar after being ignored waiting to order a drink. " Didn't have one and the wines are right there", pointing to a shelf in the back. Of course we left. She wasn't getting our business there. Another couple left without getting a drink before us too. The bed was soft and lumpy and uncomfortable and the pillows were too soft. I'll stay somewhere else next time.

Cons: Room was outdated. City side drapes did not close, let in lots of light at night. Overpriced for expectation, but not for location.
