Easy to pick up and return were fairly straightforward although the wait time to pick up was too long given there were very few other customers.Cons:
They gave us a choice of two cars. One smelled terrible on the inside and the other desperately needed cleaning on the interior. There was a bunch of popcorn in the back seat and hand prints on the rear seat windows. We were not impressed. I mean you could see the debris before even opening the doors. Gross. And this is supposed to be a time of extra cleaning given the pandemic. May not use Alamo again.8.0 Very Good

Even with a reservation, I waited 2 hours to get my car. There was only one person working and everyone was pissed. I was in HELL. I only rented because my flight was cancelled. NEVER AVIS again. Enterprise all the way. Also way overpriced especially since it was SUCH a horrible experience. I plan on telling everyone I know to avoid AVIS.Cons:

By the time extra fees (no not insurance — service fees, taxes, pre-pay gas charge and a toll pass that we barely needed costing over $160) were added on our car cost about $100/day and multiplied by three weeks was outrageous. And this with only one driver. To add a second driver would have cost another $10.99/day. They took full advantage of a consumer who didn’t know the area. Car was dirty. Dollar Rental is an oxymoron. I had scheduled the car for noon, when I arrived at the rental counter at 12:15 they told me the car wouldn’t be ready for 20 minutes. I waited an hour before the car was finally ready at 1:15. When finally getting the car the worker asked if I wanted to pay for a sun pass unlimited pass and for gas. I declined both which he then continued to ask two more times until I felt like I couldn’t say no and agreed to both. I paid $12 for the sun pass when I only went through two tolls, and paid for a full tank of gas when I used less than half of a tank. When I finally got in the car it smelt very strongly of cigarettes. Disappointing and over priced experience overall.2.0 Poor

I booked this car several days in advance. Upon my arrival from the Bahamas to Ft Lauderdale I received a voicemail from Payless informing me they didn’t not actually have a car available for me. I was stuck in Ft Lauderdale on a Friday and could not find a rental car from anyone. They were all sold out for the weekend. I felt totally helpless. I spent the next several hours trying to make other arrangements. At 3:00pm a representative from Payless contacted me and told me that they had a 12 passenger van that had just become available. The van got 10 mpg and I had a 650 mile trip ahead of me. I declined the van and continued to make other arrangements. I must say my experience was pretty awful. Thank Ryan Fitch10.0 Wonderful

Waited for 3 busloads at FLL to take me to rental center then waited for van to take us to Economy, then waited additional 50 minutes on line to get car! Then the Altima vehicle I paid for was unavailable got a Versa instead with no reduction in cost, moreover your agent charged my account $500 for liability insurance! Read the other reviews and DO NOT book with this place. To start things off, the shuttle wasn’t running so a driver had to take us to the location. Upon arriving we were told we have to have insurance in order to rent a vehicle but they “didn’t accept” my insurance (State Farm) so the only option was to purchase theirs which was around $40 a day ON TOP of the toll pass that he said “we had to have” for another $20 a day! We didn’t have to drive through any tolls during our entire trip so it makes no sense to have to spend the extra money. There were 3 people in the lobby at the same time all upset and regretting their decision as well. I asked for a refund and the guy at the desk told me to call Priceline to get fully refunded. I ended up getting a ride back to the airport and renting a car from Sixt which was actually cheaper for a fully loaded Jeep Cherokee. When I called Priceline, they said they couldn’t refund me any money because of Green Motion’s contract. This place was such a scam and I’m upset Priceline would even associate themselves with a company as shitty as Green Motion. Stay in the airport, get a better deal and car literally anywhere else!2.0 Poor

Pros:
On pick up the agent wasn't happy I wasn't going to purchase additional options and became short with me. I have my own sunpass to avoid the cost and he threatened me it would cost $25 each time I went through the toll plaza which is incorrect, as I've rented many times from various companies with my sunpass and have had no problems.Cons:
Better service geared towards helping the customer vs price gouging.2.0 Poor
