Pros: Staff are friendly and polite. Rooms are clean and comfortable. It is very well situated for walking to Chinatown and the MRT is virtually next door so it makes travelling around the city less of a hassle. We have stayed here many times and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Cons: When I arrived I was given a room which was occupied by another guest who I found out had the same name as me. There needs to be a more rigorous checking of guests details - I supplied home address when I checked in but this wasn't use as a check. On Saturday morning I received a phone call re the return flight which was obviously for the other person. I don't expect these slips in a high quality hotel.

Pros: We didn't use any of the facilities other than the rooms as a place to rest. Great central location within walking distance of most areas; if you don't mind walking about a mile to Chinatown, Little India, Arab Street, and Orchard. Two MRT stations within 2-3 blocks (5-10 minutes). A few restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs within one block. This is in a quieter area, no raging parties and noise like Orchard or Clark Quay. Staff was extremely nice and attentive. I would stay here again!

Pros: Excellent pool/jacuzzi area! (Jacuzzi is at the end of the pool - switch is on left side of pool). Great location minutes from Clarke Quay. Very safe area, in fact the whole city was! Helpful staff and we even got checked in at 9:30am after a long flight. Our bags were taken up to our room for us. Our room was cleaned daily and the showers were lovely! The hotel staff hailed down a taxi for us on our departure and they lifted our cases into the taxi for us. Very relaxing stay! We would love to stay here again!

Cons: Occasional noise can be heard from the flushing of next rooms toilet. Water pipes/system can also occasionally be heard although this didn't wake us up. Personally I would have preferred softer pillows but I wouldn't let this put me off staying here again.

Pros: I really liked this little boutique hotel. I asked for a room with a window as recommended by others. The room was tiny but very comfortable and I was a solo traveller. TV good, shower only, free wi fi. It is a good 15 min walk to either MRT stations and it is not so much the distance as the heat and humidity that will affect you if you are not used to it. The restaurant is good. The pool is great after a hot day. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Pros: Used to stay just one night, then mooved to marina bay sands for the conference. Nostalgia hotel has much better cleanliness, extremely better staff! Everybody smiled and was redy to help! Rooms are very good. Nice facilities in bathroom. WiFi is free and working everywhere. It is closed to the city center and taxi is very cheap in Sigapore. Nice swimming pool.

Cons: The offered room was really small. There was no space to fully open my suitcase at all. The airconditioning was centrally controlled and it suddenly began to operate at midnight even if I turned it off. The room got so cold without my notice that I really caught a cold.

Cons: This hotel took the full amount for my 3 night stay off my credit card 3 weeks before arrival. There was a mix up at the reception desk and my credit card was charged the full amt again. This took a week to resolve, the hotel staff were apologetic and polite. I mention this not as a complaint but to alert others to watch their credit cards carefully for charges pre arrival. Also this was Formula 1 weekend in Singapore and other hotels had upped their prices considerably.

Cons: Rooms are small (superior), as expected, but bigger than some rooms I've had in Japan. Pay for the deluxe and the rooms are more normal sized. signage was limited and the taxi drivers didn't know the hotel, so took some time finding the back entrance for cars

Imagine our disgust when we were told that one of our rooms (we booked two rooms!) were not cleaned (ready) yet!!! Furthermore, we were travelling as a family and our request for a connecting room were not entertained even though we did specifically stated in our online booking that we need connecting rooms!!! They only manage to get us connecting rooms on the second night very reluctantly!!! Then there was the water problem which needed to be solve! Bathing half way and there was just hot water and no cold water which we needed to call the technician!!! Imagine my kids embarrassment!!!!

Pros: The best part was how really comfortable the bed was. I wasn't anticipating to get out of bed, at all. You can imagine. The cleanliness was on a tip-top condition. The staffs were wonderful too. They were very polite and were very prompt to help us whenever assistance was needed. It was all very pleasant. Cons: I think it is more to where it is located at. It would have been really convenient if it wasn't much of a walking distance to the hotel from the nearest MRT Station. But this wasn't that much of an issue, until it rained and I realised how 3/4 of the time, there were barely any sheltered area from the hotel to the MRT Station vice versa.

Cons: My room looked right out into a construction site that had 24 hour operations going on. While the noise was not horrible in the middle of the night it was enough to be a nuisance. Then real work began at 0700 and was very loud. I’ve stayed here before and thought it was fine but will not return until the construction is complete. At the price they are asking for a mediocre room 20 Meters from a construction site it’s just not worth it. There are plenty of other mediocre hotels to stay at for the same price (or less) with no construction just outside the window!

Cons: The rooms are very small. Feels a bit claustrophobic. Wasn't accommodating with my food diet.

Cons: It was so expensive and was a 2 star at best, the room was tiny and old and the bathroom the same but worse. The facilities are extremely old and need an update, the quality was very low for $180 CAD per night.
