I had a disappointing experience with this car rental company. I rented a small Kia for only about 7 hours, but I was required to provide a CAD 1,500 deposit/hold, which felt very high for such a short rental. The deposit was also not returned immediately. When I called after 3 days, I was told it could take around 10 to 15 business days, which can be up to about 2 to 3 weeks. I feel this is too long and should have been clearly explained before I signed the rental agreement. At pickup, I had to wait more than 45 minutes while standing, and after that I felt rushed to sign the contract without a clear explanation of the conditions, including the deposit return timeline. I also found a few water bottles left in the trunk and had to dispose of them myself. Overall, the process felt poorly explained and unprofessional. The rentals are cheap, so don’t expect Tier 1 cars or overall service. They will also hold $1500 deposit on your credit card, 5-7 business days as per the contract, but it’s been 12 business days I still don’t have a refund. I have a second rental with them at 5 business days and that’s a $3,000 being held on my card. Just be aware.Reviewed 28 Apr 2026
