Pros: The decor was nice enough. The staff were great. Food was fine, the usual European breakfast.

Pros: The hotel is a fair distance from the town centre but the metro takes you almost to the front door. For breakfast i found there was plenty to choose from and it was decent quality. my room was a decent size very clean and i never heard any noise from outside or inside the hotel.
Cons: Wifi was ok but it was not as strong as other hotels i have used in Prague. The price for a beer in the hotel bar was ridiculous,i could get a bigger beer across the street for a fraction of the price.

Pros: My buddy and I stayed here for a week while we toured around in Prague and in Berlin. We were very satisfied with our stay. The rooms are very clean and the heated bathroom floors are an added perk that one can only really appreciate once they’ve used it. The hotel is centrally located to pretty much everything you’d want to see. On average, I’d say I walked about .7 miles to get to a place I wanted to see.
Cons: It’s just a European thing but the beds are much smaller than what you’d expect in America. Also, the shower glass door is somewhat odd but it’s really not a big deal. Really, the only actual issue I had with this hotel was the A/C unit in my room did not work. Luckily, I stayed at the end of October so opening a window sufficed. The staff told me they would move us into a different room, but, to be honest, I was too lazy to pack all my stuff up just to unpack it. Lol So, it ended up being on me not having a functional A/C unit the entirety of my stay.

Pros: The breakfast was great a huge variety and helpful staff. Have an omelette cooked to order cereal pastry coffee tea juice hot and cold options. Full up before a big day out. The room was very comfortable and well laid out. And you could open the windows. A big plus for me as I like to have fresh air. A great spot to access teams and trains easily to make your way around Prague and cab walk into the old town relatively quickly
Cons: The shower over bath would be difficult for some people to get in and out of. The glass partition is also very small so water does go all over the place.

Pros: The location is what attracted me to the Eurostars Thalia and it appeared to be a nice hotel on the website. Upon arriving, the hotel met all my expectations, the staff was very nice and the location was about as good as you're going to get in Old Town of Prague. I was traveling solo to meet up with my son on his Study Abroad trip but I will be returning with my wife and I would stay again for sure. Reasonable price, nicely furnished, attentive staff and great location!

Pros: Clean, spacious, quiet, and easy to get to from the train station. The boyf and I like walking around so taking that 5-10 min walk each day to the center wasn't a big deal for us, but it may be for lazy tourists.
Cons: Double beds are literally two beds pulls together... but that's a Europe thing, not a Yasmin hotel thing.

Pros: I had a comfortable and pleasant stay at the grand majestic plaza. The location was great to walk down to all the major attractions, room were clean and beds comfortable and wifi worked great in the room. The breakfast was a good spread and they even make omelette or hard boiled eggs on request.
Cons: I wish they had a gym. And found the housekeeping to be lacking - one day they forgot to put back the shower gel, which was frustrating to discover after stepping into the shower. And sometimes they'd forget to restock hand towels.

Pros: Clean, mostly helpful staff, modern hotel. Fine breakfast. Satisfactory WiFi.
Cons: I missed the first two nights of my stay because of missed airline connections, owing to a medical emergency of another airline passenger. I called as soon as the plane eventually landed. I was 5 hours past the cancellation deadline at this point (5 a.m. Prague time) and the reservation staff was not at hotel. I called 9 a.m. Prague time and explained, asking they not cancel my reservation. This happened two nights in a row due to airline intransigence. Reservation staff refused to budge on refunding either night's stay, even after I had to extend the stay by one day and spend another $150. I thought this very poor customer service.

Pros: As I was staying there with my gf, I'm going to put here 2 versions. My version: the hotel's location is pretty good as it's close to the center and just near the Vltava river. They allowed us to check in earlier which was very nice because we were very tired (after days of traveling). The checkout guy was very kind and was even smiling. My girlfriend's version(russian): Я и мой молодой человек останавливались в Отеле Augustus et Otto с 27 по 20 сентября 2018 года. Из плюсов: девушка на рецепшене была довольно милой, всегда была горячая вода, пока мы ждали заселения, налили чаю, находится довольно близко к центру (2 с половиной км от центра Праги).
Cons: Here comes the fun part. My version: this is definitely not a four stars hotel, maybe it used to be but not anymore. I paid 200eu expecting to be welcomed in a luxurious real four stars hotel because we wanted to relax after 2 long weeks of adventures but we were very disappointed, my gf even cried! They first asked us to give a 50 euros deposit for the minibar that contains 3 drinks and 2 chocolates (from billa, the cheapest supermarket) then they gave us vouchers for breakfast because I guess they don't trust anyone even their own customers so we felt very unwelcome. When we entered our room(12), it smelled weird and no it's not because of disinfection, the smell was there every time we entered our room. We had to open windows all the time so we could have some fresh air. We booked a double room, yet it was a twin room (2 single beds put together). The sink pipe in the bathroom was not very often cleaned we could tell as the water was draining very slowly down the pipe. We couldn't use blankets as they were in a pretty bad shape, harsh for the skin and the TV was too small with wires hanging around. Now for the breakfast, every product is from billa (I love billa but I paid 200eu here!), And same breakfast everyday with very poor choice. Every morning there was very loud post Soviet music coming from the kitchen even at 9am when people just woke up! We could hear it from our room!! Also i saw children playing around the kitchen. My girlfriend's version:

Pros: We were in the newly reconstructed room, so everything was great. Beds were comfortable, very firm though. If you prefer plush you might be disappointed. Bathroom was OK, a bit on tight side, but not much different from regular bathrooms in the US Hiltons. The staff was polite, the doorman helped with luggage, etc. Overall, I believe that compared to other hotels this provided the good value. I could not figure out the size of beds in other hotels, sometimes they didn’t have elevators, and renting apartments felt a bit sketchy. Especially, since we needed our bags held before the check in time. Our Hilton room was $212 tax included. The other hotels were $130-$170 (without tax) and we are speaking 2 or 3 stars. So, no brainer to pick Hilton unless you are on a very tight budget.
Cons: We were on the 5th floor. The reconstruction was ongoing on the 1st floor so we were warned that there might be some noise until 5 pm. The noise went on until 6 pm and it was quite significant and annoying (drilling sound). We got only 2 bath towels so my wife asked for the 2 more so we can have dry towels for the morning. The lady on the front desk took the note, but the towels were never delivered. We didn't want to bother asking again. However, the interesting thing was when we came back to our room earlier (before we asked for towels), we saw that someone delivered the additional comforter and placed it on our bed. We were surprised that someone entered our room, and this was probably intended for someone else.

Pros: Very friendly staff, knowledgeable and helpful. Great location, close to both tram and bus stops, with a few small restaurants and bars nearby. Small rooms, the only English TV channels were news, but for someone coming to explore Prague, this is a great location! Breakfast was wonderful.
Cons: It wasn't mentioned anywhere when we booked the hotel that parking would cost, and that we would need to reserve a parking space.
