Cons:

Pros: The staff was helpful and nice
Cons: They need to update the hotel a bit it's very dated it's like stepping into 1945. They need to make the hotel like Thr terrace they have on the very top there is a restaurant there and it's the only area of the hotel that I would consider a 5. Star.they should use the style of that restaurant for the entire hotel.

Cons:

Pros: Great location, helpful and polite staff, great breakfast
Cons: Dated dull throughout, beds are worn out , sheets are rough , 1970’s furniture, the entire place requires a complete refurbishment, keep away from spa facilities , sauna and steam room tiny and not hot, pool tiny and cold , no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms , if you are a tea lover have your tea bags with you, Italian coffee great but tea pretty poor

Pros: The only positive thing is the central location, directly at the promenade. Breakfast is OK, service was nice.
Cons: The Hotel Vesuvio is promoted as one of the most exclusive hotels in Naples. Well, we have been quite disappointed with our stay. The only positive thing is the central location, directly at the promenade. But the rooms definitely need to be refurbished. The money for value is for sure disappointing. Breakfast is OK, service was nice. But I rather have a refurbished room (especially the bahtroom!!) than getting the bed sheets changed every day. I guess people come back because of the "legend" this hotel used to be. But we have noticed during our stay that it is definitey not worth it to spend so much money for such little value.

Pros: Everything you need from a room. Their rooftop bar was pretty cool, definitely worth a stop while you’re there. Excellent service, we had a great restaurant recommended by the staff at reception.
Cons: The safe in the room was tiny, wouldn't fit my iPad. The fact that the room was advertised to have a view but that was not at all the case.

Pros: Beautiful classic hotel in the heart of Naples, right next to old city and up scale districy Chiaia as well as interesting Spanish quartier. Our room was very spacious and clean, with big bathroom and comfortable bed. Staff is excellent, helpful and kind.
Cons: Breakfast could be a bit more varied. Plenty of sweets but only eggs and cured meat from savory selection. Wifi was terrible (constantly disconnected and speed was non existent) and that was main negative pointr of the hotel and you don't have good reception on cellular signal because of thic walls.

Pros: The view
Cons: They over charged me double the price although you have sent it me a new price confirmed on the check in. And I booked the room with breakfast, they have charged me for it. I ended up paying more that 300€ for a 156€ for 2 nights.

Pros: The location is great, away from the bustle of the historical center but close to Chaia neighborhood. Wonderful view of the sea, the castle, Vesuvio! The rooms are spacious with an allure of classic elegance. The balcony in the room is definitely a plus! The rooftop terrace is fantastic.
Cons: The mattresses need an upgrade. Being in Naples the room service should include more traditional Italian products (i.e. the cheese platter selection is poor). The bath products need upgrading. Again being in Campania a lemon / orange Capri product line would be a better choice.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: The staff though are a bit on edge- we asked for an iron and they said they had none with a stern shrill voice and when asking for recommendations they’re just like “here’s a magazine and there’s google bye “. Which is understandable cause they’re not a small boutique hotel but what ever happened to service with a smile ?

Pros: The location was great. Walking distance to many restaurants
Cons: Seemed like one day this was a grand hotel. Today it's old and dusty. The room size was great but the sheets were rough and the hallways looked like they needed to be vacuumed.

7.1 Good
Pros: Great location. Very pleasant lady checked me in, my room was also upgraded which was a nice surprise. Great view of the bay from my room. Clean. Very nice marble bath room.
Cons: The hotel is quite grand but you can see in certain areas it could do with a bit of TLC. Parts of the hotel could do with a bit of a make over and a lick of paint. I decided to leave the breakfast buffet at 30 euro it seemed a bit expensive you could stuff yourself with espresso and pastries at many local bars for much less. There was a little note left in my room that said if there was anything the hotel could do to help me enjoy my stay to just ask. The plug socket to charge my phone was quite far from my bed which I found a little annoying as I would have liked to charge my phone in bed. I thought it was a bit of a long shot but because of this note I thought I'd ask if it was possible to have an extention. I expected probably to be told 'sorry sir we havnt got one' . Which is fair enough. However, the member of staff I asked looked at me like I'd just made the most bizarre request he'd ever heard, just answered 'No' in less than a second and seemed more concerned about getting his coat on for his break. The next morning I went to check out and order a taxi to catch my early flight. There was noone at the reception. I then however heard snoring. I followed the noise to find this same member of staff asleep on a sofa in the lobby with no shoes on. I had to wake him up so I could check out. Not usually what I'd expect at a 4 star hotel haha. Is a great location but definitely not worth the money they ask for. I have had much better value for money and customer service in hotels all over Italy. I splurged a bit in order to stay here and received £45 cash back via a genius deal. Even with this money back I feel as if this hotel is overpriced. This is in November aswell. I can't imagine what they charge in summer.

Pros: Hotel was nice- Modern and up to date
Cons: The neighborhood was terrible= Naples looked like it was rundown with crime from where this hotel was situated. The room was small and somehow, the shower opened directly to the bed. The lights in the room were on a sensor- so if you are showering and not moving, the lights shut off within 60 seconds. on my high standard, the hotel was essentially built to try and be a 5star, but failed to get there. the beds were terrible as well- 5 star hotel, i expect a queen or a king bed that is not a stiff European bed on a board. If you want a 5star luxury hotel, its not that. But it was nice.
7.5 Good
Pros: Bedroom , Amenities, Service
Cons: Location
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, nice and helpful staff, beautiful decorations, stunning reception/lobby
Cons: The view, not to the sea, but to a store house(?). The immediate surroundings around the hotel are not very nice, but you are close to everything.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location. Very helpful staff.
Cons: Strange design of the hotel interior - combination of the multiple large mirrors, glass walls and the polished black walls everywhere create so much reflections from the lighting fixtures and sunlight that it is overwhelming for the eyes and a little disorienting. Very complicated locations of multiple light switches illogically positioned to the point of frustration to find which switch controls what lamp. The staff leaves an instruction card with the map of all the switches every day after servicing the room - the sign that the management understands the problem for the guests. The breakfast area designed as a ship captain's bridge opens a beautiful view on the port and the Mount Vesuvius. The problem is that one can't eat the breakfast facing that view because the glaring shine of the rising sun unless one wears a welder's protective glasses.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Rooftop terrace.
Cons: The hotel is in front of the port but sadly I has been years Naples has not put money in improving the facilities. no fault of Romeo Hotel but just to be mindful the location is not the most romantic one! Great however if you want to access the old town tourist sites.
7.9 Good
Pros: Hotel was very nice, couldn’t fault the hotel or room itself.
Cons: Location, Naples isn’t a nice location. Very poor area, lots of rubbish in the streets & very polluted
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The Romeo is an upscale, eclectic hotel, near the waterfront in Naples. The service is generally excellent, and the rooftop pool is unusual and not to be missed. The rooms are high tech, perhaps too much so.
Cons: The overnight shift at the front desk could use some retraining - indifference seems to be the primary attitude. Naples itself seems safe and is a vibrant city, but it sure is dirty and needs routine litter pick up and infrastructure maintenance.

Cons: The room was not clean when I checked in. There was hair and toenail clippings on the floor. A quick vacuuming would have helped. Also I was not aware of any extra city tax, or that the check in desk would refuse to accept a credit card payment for it.
7.0 Good
Pros: The rooms were spacious and the building was located next to a plaza with lots of cafes and directly next to a metro station making it convenient to get around town.
Cons: The check-in process was not pleasant. We had to go to another location for check-in where they said there would be a complimentary shuttle to drive us to our building, but due to traffic the shuttle did not show up for over an hour. When we finally asked the staff where it was they said they had no idea when it would arrive. We understand that traffic can be an unanticipated issue, however, our displeasure was with the communication. We were originally told the shuttle would be 20 minutes and then never received an update as we waited over an hour. When we went up to the desk to ask they could not give an estimated time and said it should be here soon. Despite not communicating the shuttle status, they did make a point to get up from behind the desk to let us know the unlabeled waters in the fridge at the check in area cost one euro each after we had grabbed a few during our one hour wait for the shuttle (the staff had simply said "prego" when we asked them if we could grab a water originally). Our group was planning to go to the museum before closing, but had to cancel those plans when we ended up walking to our building. We were also charged twice initially although they refunded the second payment immediately after I reached out. Finally, we saw online there was a common space with tables and chairs that our group could meet up in, but it was not open during our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, spacious right in the middle of Napoli
Cons: Parking is not provided and it’s quite expensive to park in a nearby garage (usually 25 eur per day). You need to park in garage first as the B&B is in limited traffic zone
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was really good, easy to walk around and discover Naples. The rooms were also very nice and clean, with essential appliances inside.
Cons: Overall, the stay was very nice, for the future would be good to also send the email about the location of check-in in English at the bottom, or to add this in the description on booking.com.

Pros: Staff were lovely, the location was excellent and very easy to navigate around the city. The rooms were artsy and comfortable.
Cons: There was no breakfast offered (we were told - no breakfast because we are moving reception) and the walls/door were very thin and we got woken up by other guests at various times throughout the night.

Pros: This is a great hotel in a good location for getting around the sights of Naples. They have a fantastic selection of food at breakfast and very attentive staff. The bar staff were excellent and remembered what each of us were drinking. We arrived on my partner's 50th birthday and having let the hotel know, we had a bottle of sparkling wine in the room on arrival. It was a lovely touch. One day the room was very warm and reception said that as it was winter, the cold air wasn't on, but they dealt with this very well by getting the housekeeping to leave the window open and providing a fan. Overall a very good hotel in a great central location.

Cons: I booked a deluxe room but was told we got an upgrade to superior. I always thought a deluxe was better than a superior. The room was very small so I asked to be changed. The replacement room was bigger with a bigger bed but nothing special and the bathroom was very tight.

Pros: Stayed with a group of friends and then one night on my own. Situated in a very old building with a traditional inner courtyard, the rooms are comfortable with modern bathrooms and AC. A nice European breakfast is served with a variety of pastries, cold meats, fruit, yogurt and tea/coffee. It is self service. The receptionist was very friendly with somewhat limited English but we had absolutely no problem communicating. She was able to set up a taxi at 4am for some of our very early departures and made sure they could access the coffee machine! Has the added benefit of being steps away from Cafe Gambrinus, a famous spot for meals, pastries and gelato

Cons: The hotel is old fashioned and does not meet the standards of a 5 star, the beds are the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in and was making wood creaking noises. The furniture (sofa and armchair looked dirty and very old and were not comfortable either). The hotel really needs a renovation (at least the room we were in) In my opinion it is very overpriced for what you get.

Pros: The hotel is very well situated particularly if access to the port is important to you. It is within easy walking distance of the historic center. Pros: We made reservations for three nights, and we stayed only hours and next day rushed out of there. It was the worse stay in any hotel we have ever been to. Cons: Everything. We ran out of there like bats out of hell. Atrocious!
We are not the kind of family seeking luxury. You get what you pay for, but this is an embarrassment to the hotel business not to say Italy. The surrounding area was so bad, that the hotel staff lock the doors day and night.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice breakfast, rooms large enough and Convenient location close to ferries and train station, and city center. Nice view from the room.
Cons: Overall too expensive for what it is. You have to pay 15€ per person minimum to access the spa. Gym is small, 4machines in total, no towel or water, bathroom or mats, open only from 9 to 7. Bad sound proofing and poor internet connection (had to use the 4G from my phone most of the time).

Pros: The location was perfect for our short stay. Staff were outstanding - very helpful and friendly, provided good advice on sightseeing and travel. Overall, this is an excellent hotel and offers very good value for money. We will be back!
Cons: The bathroom (in a junior suite) was good but it was missing a bit of shelving to store toiletries. The bar closed quite early (11pm). There always seemed to be a tour group arriving or leaving!
5.4 Okay
Pros: hygiene (although our bed sheets were not changed daily). cappuccino at breakfast. bus stop in front of the hotel (to the railway station, to the airport) / boat service in front of the hotel.
Cons: - very hard mattresses (and they're all the same...). It spoiled my holliday! - dinner is extremely bad (chicken with 'frozen' vegetables is not eatable). It costs 8euro, but even 8 euro is too much for this trash. - slum area. - breakfast fruit roughly cut, and not well presented - sound of elevator is loud - doors in the corridors close very loudly. - Campagnia d'Arte card is not available at Feltrinelli (as the receptionist suggested) but at the tourist information centre or at Hudson news (they only accept cash). Both in the central railway station. - I would have loved more information about public traffic at the reception (bus stop info / metro and other lines / railway lines, ...).

Pros:
Cons: Breakfast was served cold, even though I got there at 6:45am. There is a receptionist at night that wanted me to eat what I ordered from outside at 1am, although at 10:30pm they close the restaurant and the bar is closed at 12am. I was travelling for work, so, the first day I got there I fell asleep and woke up at 12am, I called justeat because I just had breakfast that day and then the receptionist told me that it was disrespectful (althought their restaurant was already closed). I asked him if he wanted me to eat on the street in the cold and standing, if he wanted me to eat outside like a dog and he laughed at me. Next day I went in the morning to ask if what he was doing was "correct" although treating people like that, IT'S DISRESPECTFUL and the woman told me that they have that rule but because it was 1am I was allowed to bring food from outside because their restaurant was closed. The staff was nice but not that man, however, I think the hotel could hire more professional people. There are a lot of young people that aren't cordial or helpful. The first day there were no blankets in my room and the next day one pillow case was missing. I went there to relax after working non-stop a whole week but it ended up being much more stressful.

Pros: I have been before few time this hotel, and I like hotel. Hotel is old, but very clean, breakfast is good.
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff were great and the room was terrific. There was a great balcony and the view was incredible.
Cons: The shower was awful. There was only a partial "door", and water got everywhere when you took a shower. We had to cover the floor in every towel we had in preparation for the swamp that followed. The pool also required swim caps which was weird and a big bummer because who wants to wear a swim cap?
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location.
Cons: It was too hot in the room. The air conditioning was not working. My friends and myself are thinking that the hotel was not corresponded to a four stars hotel.

Pros: the staff initially were quite helpful
Cons: this hotel is on the 3rd floor and the lift was broken down. Breakfast was basic. in fact I didn't have breakfast as it wasn't appetising, I did try to have breakfast on my last morning but they were too busy trying to get rid of me and the taxi driver they ordered arrived too early, I didn't even have time to drink a coffee which put me in bad mood. This was the hotel which sent me an email saying I had to check in on line with them and if I didn't I would be fined euro30!!! it made me annoyed before I even arrived there.

Cons: The onlu one thing that there was confusion when we arrived. We couldn't find the hotel, coz it's not like they have some billboard on the road or adv ecc. We took the elvator, came to the door of the hotel, and no one opened a door to us, coz' the guy from reception left it... we were waiting kinda 15 min before he came, and we were thinking that they just have stolen our money and our bank accounts are already empty.... lol...and 1 more thing, i didn't like that there was a lot of garbage downstairs... but it's what Napoli like!!! Pros:
Cons: Lift not directly accessible from the hall or the entrance. Guest with wheelchair, mobility constraints, or simply heavy luggage would encounter unpleasant challenges.
7.1 Good
Pros:
Cons: The hotel occupies half of the second floor of what is a quiet, multi-floored, historic and poorly maintained (entrace, stairs, elevator, walls, windows of the building common spaces) building in the very heart of via Toledo. The hotel per se is fine. Very clean. Staff very friendly. A whole lot of points are lost because of the decaying, very poor conditions of the building within whose premises the hotel is located. Breakfast below average.

Pros: Location downtown Breakfast with small Neapolitan pastry (if you get up early enough) Staff very helpful and kind Hotel clean (but not the rest of the building)
Cons: Second floor within an old, dirty building that would need serious works in the entrance and common spaces Hotel nearly invisible and not known We booked a triple room and asked for the possibility of an extra bed, apparently confirmed. Result: the third bed was the extra bed... (no comment) Room small with unpractical furniture

Pros: Simple but sufficient breakfast. Good central location of the hotel
Cons: Not easy to find. Check for the number 320 on the building, enter the heavy gate, the hotel is on the second floor

Pros: Excellent location, kind and helpful staff, their advises were very informative, clean room
Cons: Bathroom and toilet items were not filled every day as they should. The same for breakfast- items were missing. Uncomfortable mattresses.

Pros: This is one of the few high-rise buildings in the city center of Naples so the views from most of the rooms, especially the higher floors, are incredible. Rooms themselves are also large. Much larger than what you normally encounter in Italy. My room was always kept very clean. Not the cheapest of hotels but still reasonably priced for what you get. Breakfast was terrific. They even had scrambled eggs and sausage. Staff was always helpful. Had a great stay. Hotel is located within a short walk of the port and ferries to the Amalfi Coast/Sorrento and islands like Capri. It is also a short walk to Via Toledo (major shopping street) where you will also find great restaurants in the maze of small streets that branch off of it. And, it is also close to Spaccanapoli, a quaint, narrow street with shopping, restaurants and sweets shops that splits the old city center.

Pros: The location of the hotel is ideal to be close to so many things. Metro close by, several cultural spots, several restaurants, a nice place to stay. The hotel is so tall, you can easily find it from far away to easily reach it.
Cons: The hotel is undergoing renovation, but this is not the motivation for the not positive evaluation. We were a party of 4: two stayed in a renovated room with all facilities (water boiler, ...), 2 were put in a room on a floor where renovation had not yet started. very different for the same price. no coffee machine in the room (there is one in the similar renovated one), bedlight not working and not fixable. not a 4* hotel, with too much difference based on what room you end up, paying the same amount of moneyhad to ask twice for the second towel in the bathroom, the second glass, second shower cap ..., service is room independent. breakfast: when things finish .. you might get lucky and see them re-filled ... or you may not, even at 8:00 AM. think about finding sfogliatella? forget it, in three days I found them once, and I only had the opportunity to eat one of the two on the tray ... never ri-filled in 45 minutes. not a 4* hotel of a well-known brand

The hotel did not have fan , and ac repair would be done next day morning. One night we came from the tour of Capri and it was raining like cats and dogs , we all were wet when we reached hotel. We could not go out for dinner as it was raining heavily . We asked hotel for microwave facilities, so we could heat the food packets we were carrying, but they said breakfast room is closed will open tomorrow morning only. The hotel did not have iron in the room There was ironing room on first floor we had to go there . The breakfast was very poor according to four star property Will never stay there again We are member of LeclubAccor group of hotels since 10 years , have stayed at Mercure hotels many times but this hotel was nightmare

Pros: The Staff where very helpful with regards to restaurant recommendations, directions and organizing drivers for our trips to Pompei and Sorrento. The hotel organized a wonderful driver for the second day , Francesco took us out for 9 hours to Sorrento, Positano and Herculean. Highly recommend using a driver for the day and Francesco booked a wonderful restaurant which was the highlight of our trip La Tagliata in Positano Thank you staff of Mecure and Francesco

Pros:
Cons: From breakfast to room to locations. I was not convinced with star rates on this hotel. Hotel is old and room is a bit scary and facility is very old. It’s too old to see if it’s tidy or not. The breakfast is so limited that you wouldn’t believe. The location is by the busy street and behind the hotel many small streets look very unsafe. WiFi is not stable.

Pros: It was walkable from the central train station.
Cons: They didn’t have the correct room booked and we had to wait for almost an hour to get it sorted. No wi-fi I’m room, no fitness center, elevator didn’t work on the last day. There was black mold all over the shower and the room was very small. Tons of noise from the street and other rooms and no air circulation to speak of.

Pros:
Cons: A/C was not working properly. The bedroom floor was dusty. The room was VERY small. The breakfast was mediocre.

Pros: Staff were available 24 hours a day. Staff helped provide me with a reputable taxi for my 4:00 AM flight. I received a full sized bed even though I only reserved a twin.
Cons: The hotel felt shabby like a two star motel. This is fine for the price I paid, I just didnt know what to expect, maybe this is helpful to other travelers.
